Absolute scam artists. Brought my car in for oil change, state inspection, and preventive maintenance. Important to note, the car drove perfectly fine at this point. Was told my car failed inspection for play in the steering rack and would require a complete replacement (a roughly ~$2000 service after I'd already paid $700 for the inspection, oil change, and differential fluid). I told the tech I understood, but I needed the car for work and didn't have $2000 for the repair right now, so please put it back together and I'd let them know when I had the budget for repairs. As soon as I drove off the lot, I realized my steering was completely borked. The alignment was off by almost a full quarter turn of the wheel. Soon, multiple warning lights lit up on the dash for traction control, ABS, and emergency brake. When I spoke to the tech again over the phone, he said he was unable to fix it due to the rack being bad. So, let me just fully understand this... I gave the car to a repair shop and it drove fine, straight and no warning lights. Paid $700, picked it up, it's clearly broken, and you want me to believe you need another $2000 to fix the problem you clearly created? Frustrated, and leaving for vacation the next morning, I ended the call with no resolution. After returning from vacation, I called again and left messages that were never returned. Eventually, my wife got through, and was told they "don't have access" to the voicemail. The tech was rude to my wife, again reiterated they couldn't fix their mistake, but did offer to take a look at it when they had time (when asked if she could bring the car in immediately, the tech scoffed). Meanwhile, I had simply taken the car somewhere else for a second opinion. Wouldn't you know it, the other shop said that while the rack had a slight bit of play, they measured it and it was well within PA state inspection specs and safe to drive. As for the alignment, it was off more than 6 degrees and took the other shop over two hours to correct and reset the sensors. After another $130, I have a car that runs fine and is inspected. I'm not sure if it's a new management issue or what, but stay away from this place. I'll be letting the BBB and the state inspection board know what kind of scam they're running here. read more

My friend was almost killed in a car accident her car was totaled, so she went all the way there to look at a pt that didn't start so she settled on a scion, paid cash. she just bought it dec 17th 2022, check engine light came on two weeks later, she has the paperwork that was in the car stating 30 day or 1,000 mile coverage for any issues. Recently got a quote for an oil change and scheduled the appointment. While the oil change was in progress, got a call for other items that may need attention--rotate tires, low brake fluid, battery supposedly getting old. Informed the attendant that I'd like the brake fluid topped off and none of the other items. I understand upselling, but my instructions were to simply top off the brake fluid. I pick up the car and they've done a complete brake fluid change. Surprise! An additional $150 bill. At the very least he could have informed me that "topping off" is not recommended or part of their standard operating procedure. Instead, he said nothing. Update... it gets worse. This summer the cooling system exploded on me while driving on a highway. I was lucky I didn't get hurt. I managed to make it to the shoulder of the road and had to wait for my fiance to come get me. While on the shoulder of the road I got covered in tics. You get what you pay for. I have a modified silverado longbed that no one else wanted to touch for alignment. Mike at just crusin was able to get me a same day appointment and i called at 1pm he was friendly and polite. They took care of my vehicle right away it was ready by 5:30pm that day. had some poor toughest walking into the shop today. I was in a some what lengthy line. I need a car inspection. There was this man in the front that had apparently gotten his tint changed on his car. He filed a complaint about his tint being screwed up. The owner soon entered the scene. He began to start swearing and told this costumer to that he really didn't care about that and all he wanted was money. I out of a few other costumers were shocked and we all exited the shop at that moment. I have met a few of the workers and they were all very nice and willing to help me on my car. The owner was just very mean and it was a horrible experience there. I will most likely never come back again read more

I called for an estimate to have the fuel pump in my car replaced and I was given a price of about $700.00 give or take . I agreed and when I picked up my car the price was closer to $1200.00. Ouch ! But Rick said he thru in a free headlight adjustment ( nothing wrong with headlights ). When I got home just 2 miles away from the shop my Check Engine light came on. I took the car back the next day and had to pay another $78.00 for some valve that supposedly went bad. Come on man , give the public a break. I've lived in the area for over 17 years and have never used Just Cruisin. Not for any other reason than I didn't think about them. But today that changes!! My daughter bottomed out her car thus popping off the driver side of her front bumper. We were fearful this was going to cost her hundreds of dollars because she was going to have to take it back to the dealer (she's only had the car a couple months) to be repaired. Then she remembered Just Cruisin and called them. She went there on a Friday at 3 pm and had her car back in an hour and were beyond reasonable! On top of all that she had left her wallet on her car seat next to her purse. When I took her back her wallet was in her purse zipped up. How's this for service: Senior citizen is very trusting of the dealer she bought the car from, 5 years into owning the car her clutch goes. Just Cruisin starts drooling over the money they're about to make doing the same work 4 times... They tell her they can rebuild the clutch for her. Two months later, the clutch is sticking again, then stops working. They rebuild the clutch. 3 months later... same thing. They rebuild the clutch. Then a fourth time. Finally after a year of clutch trouble at the hands of Just Cruisin, they REPLACE the clutch (what a freekin concept considering you obviously failed at rebuilding it on your first 4 billable attempts). Then, ouala! No more clutch problems. $800 of labor each time isn't bad though, right? That's not taking advantage of a trusting senior, is it? As if that wasn't enough... the car gets a leaking sunroof. So Just Cruisin fixes it. 12 months later, what do you know, same problem. What a great shop. read more

They saw right away did work right away but charged 200% over and didn't actually fix what needed to be fixed just something else than what we said needed to be done a week later it's giving the same issue and take it back to be told what we said needed to be done needed to be replaced and he wanted to charge 350+ took it to our regular mechanic in Philly and only cost 80$. read more

Really a 4.5 rating. Few of us has been lucky enough to not be ripped off or at least felt ripped off by a car repair shop. My gut has always led me to go with small non-chain repair shops unless you'll looking for minor work or an oil change. Just out of convenience I still use Jiffy Lube for oil changes, though watch them like a hawk while waiting. Just Cruisin' is a mid size auto repair shop that also sell used cars. I've dropped my car off and saw Mercedes-Benz level cars. This is a good sign. The guys there are easy to talk to and good at explaining what needs to be done. Recently I took my car in because of a front end "shudder". I was told my tires needed to be balanced and to come back in about 10 thousand miles to get new struts/shocks on. All of which made perfect sense and at no point did I feel pressured. Other places would have told me on the spot to replace the struts/shocks. For most people trust is very big when it comes to auto repair, and I trust Just Crusin' as much as any repair shop I've used. Also, they have a very easy "key drop" system so you can drop off after hours. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they are not open on Saturday mornings. read more

As one of the men in charge said, "we're mechanics first and salesmen second," and they mean that. This location primarily does repairs but they also have cars for sale that haven't gone to the Limerick showroom yet, and lemme tell you, these guys know the cars they're selling. Even better, they don't make commissions from sales to their goal at both locations is to get you into a dependable car you'll love. I've bought two vehicles from this location and have had minimal problems with them. Free inspections for the life of the car, reliable and AFFORDABLE mechanic work, tire repairs, and friendly staff. It's clear I'm an idiot when it comes to car stuff but they never try and swindle me into crap I don't need. They're wonderful. Just Cruisin's work is generally thought to be a tad expensive but good otherwise. I took my 01 Chevy Malibu to JC not long after I bought it a year ago at a discount. The car needed its EGR valve replaced and a new catalytic converter installed. JC kept the car two and half days and afterwards gave me a bill for $455 including initial inspection, saving me money by using a universal cat rather than the dealer model. I happily paid my bill and drove away. Even before the car got out of the parking lot it was sputtering. "Emissions work can clog hoses and pipes," I said to myself. I'll keep driving and they'll clear out." Wishful thinking. The car continued to sputter for a few more blocks until forward progress could no longer be made. I called JC and told him what had happened. JC immediately sent a tow truck to the car and we started over again. Another day with other cars ahead of me. "Don't you test-drive your cars before issuing your customers their bills and car keys?" I asked incredulously. Hem and haw. Just Cruisin's the only large car repair game in Harleysville. It's been around for decades and can be complacent; also unjustifiably snotty. I recently bought a used Passat wagon and since I live across the street, asked JC to read the check engine light (sensors). "We're busy," replied JC. If I were you, I'd get busy and find a shop where your business will be more appreciated. I did. read more

I bought a car from Just Cruisin' with the standard warranty that came with the car. I took my car to a trusted mechanic to check out the car and they said it was OK, but had a minor exhaust leak. OK, easy fix. A few weeks after I got the car, I had the Check Engine Light come on. I checked with my OBD2 scanner and it was the P0420 code. I took my car three times for the same problem and the light has come on for the fourth time. Rick said that the third time was going to be the last time since my car fell out of warranty on the third time. I believe that this problem should be rectified since it was the same exact code every single time. First, a hole was fixed, second, the catalytic converter was replaced, and third, an oxygen sensor was replaced. I won't bother calling because of what Rick said. Now I got left with a car that won't pass emissions that I have to either fix myself or get it fixed. I suggest that you reconsider your potential purchase from this dealership. read more

I took my jeep wrangler to get inspected and was told it needed $700 worth of work to pass inspection. My friend, who is also a mechanic but who does not do inspections, was willing to do the work for half the price, so I took the car elsewhere to get it fixed which Jeff at Just Cruisin' said was fine. I brought my car to my mechanic with the list of all the repairs that Just Cruisin' said were needed. While my friend was fixing my jeep, he noticed the left springs on both sides were completely broken through and was shocked that Just Cruisin' overlooked it. He did all the repairs and I brought the jeep back to Just Cruisin' for a re-inspection, again, as I was told I was allowed to do. After the second day, I still hadn't heard anything so I called and was told my jeep was all done but that they had needed to fix my horn and said I had to pay $25, which I said was ridiculous considering I knew my horn worked and they didn't call me first to authorize the repair. I picked the jeep up over the weekend and realized that they had left the key in the ignition (jeep has no top) and that they had not put the inspection sticker on, even though I was told the jeep was "all done". I went back as soon as they were open and was told that they deliberately did not put the sticker on because they knew I would not pay the $25 to fix the horn. I asked why they left the key in the ignition and they said they were too busy and did it by mistake (that would have been a great reason to give to my insurance company if the car was stolen) and I asked how they could nickel and dime me for $25 for an unauthorized repair but overlooked the broken leaf springs that could have caused the entire back end of the car to literally fall off to which they responded "we can't find everything". Joe was very, very rude and was very condescending and mean. Needless to say, I will never, ever bring my car back there again and will tell everyone I know about my experience because if nothing else, they overlooked a huge safety issue that could have killed me and my passengers if the broken leaf springs failed while I was driving it. Not to mention they didn't even apologize for the oversight and to top it off, they overcharged me for something that was not authorized. Heed this warning and take your car somewhere else!!!!!! read more

Over the past 3 years Just Cruisin' Service center has taken advantage of my situation fully. I thought their service was poor to begin with but it was tolerable until this last instance. I took my relatively new car to have new bulbs and hoses installed. I already had both the bulbs and the hoses purchased, I just needed them installed. It should have taken maximum an hour if the mechanic moved slow as molasses. When I go to pick up my car apparently it took over 3 hours to do the simple job PLUS they failed to mention they charge $85 per hour in labor! The job costed $315 to put bulbs and a hose in!? I have an appointment next week somewhere else to have an intake put in that takes 4-6 hours of labor and they are doing it for $100... Are you kidding this is ubsurd! I think I have probably over paid $2000 in services because of their manipulation and "failure to mentions." I am going tothe better business bureau with this one. Do not trust Just Cruisin they will rip you off big time! read more
