Wow! I can't believe it took this long to come here! After coming out to a completely flat tire when I attempted to go to work, my boyfriend put the donut on and we decided to try Creamery. I had always heard good things about this place (once I finally, years ago, learned that it was a tire and service place and not an ice cream shop ), but never had the opportunity to go....until today. They were so kind, professional, and super-fast! Thankfully I just needed a patch repair from a nail, which didn't cost much at all. The gentleman who helped me patiently explained their beeper system since I was a newbie (first beep to drive up to the bay, and the next to either talk to service or pay at the cashier) and enrolled me in their rewards program. No doubt if I ever need tires I will only be coming here from now on. I'd tell everyone I know to come here, but they already do! read more

I got a tire rotation in the regular garage and had an alignment in their other garage. The services were ok but as soon as driving away I felt something weird with the steering wheel. I pulled over and saw there was visible scratches and striations on the steering wheel. I went back and they said at the alignment place they weren't sure what happened and the other side they said they would fix it. Obviously the scratches were white and fresh on the steering wheel so you can tell it just happened. Later I realized it looked like a big key ring must have been under the wheel. I thought at first it must have been a ring but there are parallel scratches. They later said they would refuse to fix it. My car is practically new. Very disheartening. I'll never go to this location again. Update: My alignment is very bad. When I take my hands off the steering wheel my car severely swerves off the road to the right. Really bad. Now I have to deal with their alignment people who damaged my steering wheel. All around a very bad experience. read more

I have been going to Creamery Tire for almost as long as I've been driving, over 20 years. I grew up in the area and now drive 45+ minutes each way as Creamery was the only tire shop I would let touch my tires. Unfortunately, today will be my last trip there. I called last week and ordered 4 new tires for my vehicle. They called me today, tires came in and I went this afternoon to have them installed. That part of the experience went well. They are no longer the cheapest shop around like they used to be, but I was willing to pay more for the quality they've always provided. After my tires were installed, I paid and left as normal. I noticed the right rear pressure was reading significantly low - 16psi below where it should be. I drove it down the street as sometimes the sensors take a few minutes to register. I got to Wawa and pulled over as the pressure had not gone up. I checked the pressure to see if my car was wrong and it was indeed 16psi low. It was also missing the valve cap on a brand new tire. I drove back, told the person at the counter what was wrong and she said they'd look at it right away. They did. A gentleman came out of the garage about 10 minutes later and said they re-inflated the tire, provided a valve cap, and told me by the way, my valve stem has a leak. I said what do you mean the valve stem has a leak, it wasn't leaking when I brought it in. I always keep my tires inflated exactly where they are supposed to be. In this cold weather, if there was a leak, I would have known it. I asked what happened to it. He profusely denied any wrongdoing or anything they would have done to cause the problem. He offered no recourse other than shrugging his shoulders when I asked how this happened. He also said they can't fix it, I had to go to the manufacturer for service. So now I'm $1400+ into new tires and I need to go pay the dealership or another shop to fix what they broke. I went out to my vehicle and now found that tire over inflated by 3psi. I went back inside and asked to speak to a manager. The same person as I spoke to before told me he was the manager. We exchanged words and I walked out. After I got home, I took a closer look at the tires and found they didn't even fully put one of my wheel covers back on correctly. The service at Creamery has completely gone downhill. I'm not sure if my valve stem really does have a leak or if the tech in the garage made that up to cover up for his not inflating the tire the first time properly. Creamery Tire, you've lost a 20+ year customer and I will no longer be sending any referrals as I did with dozens of other customers over the years. I drove farther, took time away from my job to support a local shop when I could have gone to one of the big box stores and paid less for the same tires. I'll be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau to document this and I'll be having the tires inspected by a reputable shop. I couldn't be more displeased or disgusted. Shame on you and your management. read more

Today something almost ruined my month coulda been my whole summer with the way things are for me right now. Hit something my tire blew out, hit a curb at 40 mph. My rim was in such bad shape, it looked like I would need to find a new one before I could get a new tire and my donut looked like it wouldn't last. I limped to Creamery Tire in East Norriton, they have been our family stop since my grandfather used them in the 80's maybe earlier. They looked at the rim and didn't have any hope, but Mike Pletcher the tire genie gave it a try, he banged it out, then had to heat it with a torch, but he reformed the rim for me, and saved my butt. I was back on the road in about 40 minutes, I can't say enough positive things about Creamery tire or its employees. This is where you need to go for any of your tire needs. read more

The the worst experience I had in an Automotive place by far. I called the Creamery Tire in Chalfont store to order a tire/tires as usual. I've never talked to a guy over the phone at this location but ig I was the lucky winner, usually it's the nice Redhead. A month earlier I had a flat and needed to get a new tire cause it was the sidewall, same thing this time. I told the guy, that I recently got a tire from them, but the original tires aren't sold anymore, this guy tried to get me to buy a new set saying the brand, speed rating and wear have to match on all the tires. Obviously I just want a tire, even the tire they sold me a month ago, they don't sell anymore! It's crazy, I just need a tire. Everything they were trying to sell me was $63+ over Firestone. And it was so simple of a process. I just want what I needed, not someone to lie to me for a upsell. read more

By far the fastest, most affordable place to get your new tires mounted and balance. I'm not sure what they are feeding their employees but they can get you in and out, back on the road within a few minutes. The also mount low profile tires but they won't mount a stretched tire. You have always been our family's go to store for tires. Today, went for 4 new tires. OK, could get an appointment at 11:30 it's now a little before 11. OK, I'll be back at 11:30. Came back at 11:15 (still early) and response was you left. I told you to hold the appointment and I would be back. It took 2 1/2 hours to get 4 new tires. Lots of guys standing around doing not so much work. what happened to the great service? Used to be able to go in for an appointment and get out quickly. May be the last time I ever visit. In 2015 I purchased a set of tires for my car. I went to the creamery location on recommendation of my co workers. I was very satisfied with my purchase. Now with my Rav 4 I was concerned my tires would not pass PA inspection because I did the "penny test". I didn't want to get my car inspected and be stuck having to buy tires from my mechanic in order to pass inspection. Thinking the the tire tread was suspect, I called around to get information and prices. I remembered the previous purchase and decided to return to Creamery for a new set. Their prices were competitive with any of the local tire dealers even though it was a bit of a drive. when I arrived, the gentleman at the service desk came outside and checked the tires with a tread gauge. He said my tires were fine and have a lot of life left. He told me the "penny test" was not the most reliable way to check. Needless to say I was happy I did not have to spend $$$ for a new set. A victim of their own success? I've been going to Creamery Tire for almost 18 years now. It is a bit further for me to drive there, and there was always a wait when I got there (first come, first serve), but their unbeatable prices made it worth the trip (and wait, which always seems to be a couple of hours). We haven't purchased tires since before the pandemic started, because we've been driving less. My wife's car finally needed some new tires, so I found what I wanted online, ordered them at Creamery, and they were in the next day. I went in to pick them up, and it ended up being about a 2 hour and 45 minute wait from the time I got there to the time I was out the door. I was hoping that since they have opened additional locations, their turnaround times would be better now. I was disappointed to find out their rewards program is no longer active - my old discount credit is useless! While the service staff are always courteous, their prices are no longer the best, and the ridiculous wait times (on top of the longer drive) are no longer tenable for me. They are still good, but they are no longer the best. I think there are better options out there now. This was my last trip to Creamery Tire! read more

Ordered a tire for a $130 and received a call to come in and get it put on my car. Drove 45 minutes to there shop and when I go in they say they no longer have my tire and only have a $220 tire. Faster than an oil change. The potholes of PA left me with a flat and in the market for 2 rare tires. Since they were rare, I did a good amount of calling around and no one had them. Most of the quotes ranged between $500 to $600. I call Creamery on a Saturday and the tires arrived on Monday. The 2 tires installed cost me a total of $360, significantly less than any other tire place. Even my friend who is a tire wholesaler couldn't match the price. I arrived at a time that was convenient for me, went to the desk, paid for my order, then was given a buzzer like a restaurant. As I waited, I got on the wifi and did some work in the large waiting room. When they buzzed me, they told me which bay to pull my car to and came back to the waiting room. The whole experience took about 25 minutes and there were no surprises or upselling. Like most places, it's busier on the weekend, so come during the week if possible. read more

I have bought tires for three cars here and sent countless others as well. As they expanded there were some hiccups like losing rewards points which was no big deal and at the time not worth complaining about. Last august I went in asking for a specific tire and was sold on a completely different set being told to trust them this tire makes all the difference. I also wanted something with longevity and they assured me my tires had a year road hazard from the manufacture and would last 50k miles. 11 months and under 14k miles later I'm being charged full price for a replacement tire. So not only did I not get the brand I wanted I got sold something they won't help a customer who has bought probably close to 20 of their tires. Needless to say be wary and go with your gut. Such a shame. Not only that but to only get a voicemail that your car is ready and no mention of hey by the way we are charging you full price for the tire as a heads up is pretty classless. read more

My car's rear tire was going flat so I used fix-a-flat, and then drove to Creamery Tire to have it repaired. The person at the counter told me they would not attempt a repair because I used fix-a-flat, and that I would have to replace the tire. Then he told me they didn't carry that brand, so I would have to buy 2. I have used Creamery Tire for years, but it did not make sense to me that they wouldn't even look it. So I left, tried CJ's for the first time, they removed a screw from the tire, I paid $27, and was out of there within an hour. Customer service was really disappointing. read more

Overall a really great experience despite the really long wait. I knew what I was in for as I called in advance so it wasn't their fault for everyone's sudden need for new tires less than 24 hours before the first snow storm. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Their process is straightforward. Wait in line, tell them what you need, get a buzzer (think restaurant style) and when it beeps you move your car to the appropriate bay. I had the option of leaving and coming back which was nice but I opted to stay with the buzzer and was pleasantly surprised with a much earlier buzzing time. My only critical feedback is that I found out my logo on my wheel fell off and could not be put back on so they put it in my car. They wrote it up on the report but as I was in a rush I didn't read it till I got home. Would've been nice if they simply mentioned it but then again I could've also paused to read the full receipt before leaving so I didn't dodge them for this as they were honest and wrote it up in detail. I'm a first time customer but they've earned a repeat customer through this visit and I've already referred them to several friends. Big label chain auto shops could learn a lot from this place! I called Mavis on November 15 and asked some prices on two front tires. Man on the phone asked me what size my tires were. I told him what my car was and if he could look them up for me I'd appreciate it. He told me he didn't have any way to know my tire size. I said I never heard about tire shop not able to reference that. Should be able to find out anybody's tire size as long as they're the original size tires for the vehicle. Our call ended and I Google searched which took no more than two minutes to find my tire size. Call back and a different person answer. I told him my tire size and what just happened with the first phone call and made an appointment for the next day at 2 o'clock. I was also told that my front end would be inspected for any problems with the linkage/steering system which would be taken care of at no charge and that wasn't done. Was there for an hour and a half. My car was finished and it was parked outside and they didn't even tell me. I went back in to pay my bill and wouldn't you know it they couldn't find my car key. I've only drove the car the next day on Friday a little bit on a Saturday and the car doesn't handle near as good as it did with the tires that were just about bald. It feels loose as in I don't have complete control of the steering. Feels snaky pulling to the left in the right slightly .so there's a problem and needs to be addressed. read more

I had heard about how great these guys were but not gonna lie, I had my suspicions about what they would charge for a simple tire rotation... They charged me nothing! I've been going to Creamery for over 20 years . They were always very helpful and nothing was ever a bother . It really sucks how things change. They now close at 5:00 .... All week .... Everybody I know , including myself , work to 5 :00. My only option was to leave work early , to have somebody check my tires. I got there about 4:30, after almost an hour drive , There were only 2 customers there , lady checking out , and it looked like a gentleman disputing a charge . I was tol that the guys in the back said they are not taking on anymore work for the day . I just wanted someone to look at my tires . That was to much trouble . I can't believe it has taken me so long to Visit this place, I feel stupid. I have heard how great this place is for the past 20 years or at Least a really long time! I had a screw in my tire today and was in the Harleysville vicinity and was reminded about creamery tire so I went there to try and get my tire fixed. I was in need of new tires and had got a price quote last week from Mavis tires for Michelin tires. The price quote for 4 new Michelin tires was $1,106 . Creamery said they could fix my tire but it looked like needed new tires so I asked for some quotes for new tires. I had 4 new Hancock tires installed for $600 and saved almost $600.00 and the new tires ride great. I have had two sets if Michelins on my Acura and have only averaged 30 k miles so if the Hancock's last even close to 30k I'll be ahead . They ride great and I am so happy it only took 1 hour to have these new tires installed , and I didn't have an appointment. Great place ! read more

Creamery preformed an excellent and affordable service for me. I got a hole in one of my front tires patched and the other completely replaced. I spent a decent amount of time researching tires for the best deal and Creamery had the best prices by far! The employees were very friendly and answered all of my questions, being educated in your field makes a huge difference. You can get a reward card that will eventually save you a good chunk of cash. There's also a cheap warranty you can opt to pay for. Not only was the service great but I didn't spend my whole day waiting around there. We've been buying tires here for years, always had great service & polite employees. Sometimes the wait was 1/2 hr to hour but that was ok. Today I went in for a tire pressure monitor, just one , and was told there'd be a 2 1/2-3 hr. wait! There was only about 5 cars in the parking lot. He tried to send me to another location, I already drove 1/2 hr, not going further. Then he kept telling me "Just so you know" we always have a wait that long . I thought he was rude, never saw him there before, didn't see the usual guys.
