Sold my car to Just Joe's and it took less than an hour. Awesome experience. Would go back!

Worst experience I've had in 45 years of buying cars. GM/manager is a doofus-should be limited to cleaning the toilets.

When it gets warmer I can't wait to enjoy my coffee outdoors. I was only in town for a week but we had to come several times. The lattes are so tasty and I had to try a few different pastries every time. I also enjoy the bigger tables. We actually came once as a group of four to play games and drink coffee. It's just honey. There's also a counter where your party can sit across from each other. I saw a group doing homework there. In addition, I want to highlight the lovely service I received every time. So polite and helpful. I never felt rushed, they answered my questions and even have great options for vegetarians. You gotta check it out!

Started with a chocolate croissant warmed with a great flavor. My friend had a lobster tail that was flaky and creamy good. We both had a breakfast burrito filled with egg, sausage and bean and hot hot hot. Just the right portion. Coffee was fab. They even brought a free butterscotch cake for my buddy to celebrate him. The building is an old farmhouse/general store mood and everyone was happy to be there. Will be back.

Very welcoming and went through the different drip roasts for me. I got the light roast and it was delicious! He also recommended the pumpkin spice scone which was a perfect combo. The scone was flaky on the outside and so soft and fresh in the middle. Not like others that taste like hockey pucks. As a visitor from the other side of the state this was a great find. I would happily stop again the next time I visit family. Tucked in the back of a pretty quiet little shopping area you would miss it if you weren't looking for it. Enjoy!!!

Showed up about an hour later and they said they needed some more time - totally understand, beautiful pastries can't be rushed! Took about 20 extra minutes so we ordered a hot latte and a donut - the donut was stale and the coffee tasted more like the cup that it was in than anything else. "Hey man, that's okay" I said to myself, "we're just building up to the main course!" I'll attach a picture of the main course in question, what a letdown. I'm not in the business of baking and I don't like to assume, but I'm SURE that this cinnamon bun was not "fresh out of the oven". Ovens are hot, right? This was cold. If you're stuck wondering if you should give this place a try, I would recommend staying home, putting some coffee grounds in a small Amazon box and running some hot water over it to simulate the Collective Coffee experience. And then if you say to yourself "wow, that was delicious, I just wish I paid ten bucks for it!" Then maybe you would like it here. PS the people working there seemed nice, no shade to them.

Birthday at Birchrunville- But not quite worth the…read moreanticipation. On just about the hottest day of summer we ventured on the scenic drive to Birchrunville Store Cafe. A group of 6 on a dinner reservation at their first seating at 6pm. We entered and were sat at the back corner table- their air conditioning was a relief. The vibes- quaint, tight quarters. Grandma's dining room. Emphasis on the grandma, as the crowd was much older. I found that fascinating, as Birchrunville is a "must stalk" reservation. That type of spot is usually on trend (and not on elderly). We sat, broke out our BYOs and contemplated first course. The menu is ever-changing which is refreshing. Seasonal and never stagnant, even if Babcia grabs a table regularly. Appetizers arrive- we order a variety. Hits and misses. What didn't miss throughout our dining was each presentation. Smears and dollops and thoughtfulness to plates. Oysters- ok. No variety of types to choose from. Also a non-preferred: the oysters were already dressed with their mignonette. No option naked was disappointing. The bone marrow was lacking depth. It tasted mostly of its topped garnish and was fattier than expected. The stuffed figs could've been a passer-by. Fresh by lack of flavor. We liked the crispy bacon. Caesar salad was another take it or leave it. The goat cheese croquettes caused confusion (see photo). It was actually an arugula salad - note, well dressed and citrusy, with breaded cheese crumbs atop. We wanted a ball of cheese, per the croquette. Interesting spin? But we'll leave apps on a high note- The gazpacho. Appealing to the eye and palette- bright, cheery, cool and clean. To entrees- this is where the opposition arises. From fantastic to terrible. Kudos given: meats and skin on seafood. Unmemorable: sauces Just Bad: my seafood trio Great crusts on the lamb and steaks. They were cooked to proper temp, juicy and flavorful. Fish- skins crispy and meat flaky. I am sorry to say, but have to emphasis that I deemed parts of my dish inedible. The whitefish was bland, the crab cake had no lumps and the AHI! There was the inedible- the tuna. Couldn't chew it, refused to swallow it. The sear was so hard on this thing, the tuna turned into chewing gum. Just bad. A complementary dessert was enjoyed in sweet treat by the birthday boy. While service was attentive and pleasant, we were rushed out for second seating. Understood, we just felt excused and hustled out. Like we did something wrong. So, we end up at 3 stars. If a reservation feels elite, so should the food. Overall our experience was just good. Here there is history, but not all the hype.
