Couple years ago toyota conicelli pulled a fast one and got over on my S/O by tacking on aftermarket fees and took her 5k down payment and put it on that instead of towards the car(her mistake she should've read thoroughly). Fast forward to today, went into Hyundai and I saw that they tacked on similar aftermarket fees on my quote when I opted out of them. Salesperson was helpful but they like to catch people slipping. My experience at Conicelli Hyundai was nothing short of a nightmare, and most of it came down to my service advisor, Ruthann. I purchased a 2024 Hyundai Sonata N Line in October 2025. Not long after, I had an intermittent check engine light, a warranty trim concern, and needed an oil change. Even getting service scheduled was a hassle. I was told they "weren't accepting new customers," which I had never heard of. Shaun, the Assistant Service Manager, was the one bright spot early on. He stayed polite and professional even when I was understandably frustrated, and he managed to fit me in. At the first visit, they did the oil change, said they couldn't replicate the check engine light, and ordered the trim piece. A few weeks later, I returned for the trim appointment and the check engine light came on again. I told them at drop-off, gave them the code, and even had photo/video evidence. I was told there were no loaners, so I rented a car. The next day, I got a call, not from Ruthann, but from Tim (the Service Manager), who arranged a loaner because my vehicle needed additional time and parts. From there, the communication and follow-through fell apart, and Ruthann was the reason. I was promised updates that never came. Calls weren't returned. I went in person and found my vehicle sitting in the front customer lot, partially disassembled, with the cowl removed and the engine area exposed. Ruthann gave me vague, confusing explanations about what was happening and assured me it wouldn't be left outside like that, yet it remained outside in that condition. After about a week and a half, I was told my car was ready, but they again said they "couldn't replicate" the check engine light, despite the code and evidence I provided. I was told to "bring it back when it comes on." A few days later, I noticed my windshield washer fluid no longer sprayed right after they had the cowl removed. I checked the reservoir myself, filled it, and clearly told them it was full. I brought the car back, and Ruthann called me at 9:00 a.m. the next morning claiming the washer fluid was "just empty," that they filled it, that the check engine light was not present, and that everything was "normal operation." That was not true. When I came to pick up the car, I tested the washer sprayers in front of her and they did not work at all. Ruthann still insisted it was "normal operation" while I was literally demonstrating the opposite. That level of dishonesty and dismissal was beyond insulting. Tim came out, had me pop the hood, found a disconnected washer line, and fixed it in about 10 seconds. At that point, I was frustrated to the point of tears because after three visits my car had more issues than when I first brought it in. Weeks later, the check engine light returned again. I brought it in immediately, and this time the same code I had been providing for over a month finally showed while they had the car. They replaced all four fuel injectors, and I do appreciate that. But again, no one called to tell me it was ready. I had to show up a week and a half later to find out it had been finished. Now I hear what sounds like something loose when I make sharp turns, which is extremely disappointing after all of this. Shaun and Tim were courteous and genuinely helpful, and this is not directed at them. Ruthann, however, was consistently unprofessional, dismissive, and unreliable, and she repeatedly gave me information that was simply not true, including telling me the washers were working when they clearly were not. That pattern is what made this experience such an exhausting mess. I'm glad this is finally behind me. I would not recommend Conicelli's service department based on how this was handled, particularly the ongoing communication failures. Tim was the exception, and I'm grateful for his professionalism and willingness to help when Ruthann repeatedly failed to do so. read more

I bought a Tuscon 3 months ago. When buying everybody was so responsive and all over the place helping me. However, I canceled the Conicelli Protection Plan within 30 days because after reading the fine prints I realized it's very useful and doesn't cover a lot of important incidents. Ever since I'm having an impossible time getting the hold of the dealership to get my money back, even though I'm eligible for a full refund. The finance department simply does not respond to phone calls (it always goes to voicemail without a follow back). It's very frustrating. read more

When you have an issue with your Hyundai (and you WILL as they are terrible cars), good luck. My Hyundai is THE worst car I've ever bought. Engine failure? Yep. Paint peeling? Yep. They are junk. UPDATE: I received a call from the Maintenance Director who was kind enough to either have someone deliver a wheel lock kit to my mechanic (earlier Parts told me they didn't have any even if I got a ride there to pick them up myself). Since the car was just about done, he said he could send them to me but I already opted to have regular lug nuts put on. Patrick also offered to reimburse me for the added labor cost by my mechanic who had to find another way to remove the wheel locks. I'm very grateful to him for contacting me with viable solutions but in the end, I just want to move on. But I stand by my review. Too late for resolutions. NEVER AGAIN! Since the time of purchase (1.5 years ago), my frustration level has left me so disappointed in my purchase. When I purchased the car in Feb 2025 (certified used), the salesman mentioned he wanted to have it detailed for me but due to the construction of the Genesis lot, it couldn't be done that day. (No problem). Before driving off the lot I noticed and pointed out water/condensation in rear light assembly. Required new assembly and I was told I'd get a call once it came in. It was also mentioned at that time that when I brought it back it, the detailing would be done. Well, no one called me, so after almost two weeks, I called. It took a bit of time and transferring me to get the right person where I was told that, yes, the part came in. Another two weeks to get an appointment. I had mentioned at the time about the detailing and was told no problem. I was very pleased at how quickly the rear assembly was completed. When I mentioned the detailing, I was told they didn't have the time. At that point I just let it go (detailing wasn't a big deal, but I would have liked the same courtesy that other buyers had). This took place in March 2025. In April/May of 2025 I had a continuous rattling and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. It wasn't until I had opened and closed the hatch in the back that I realized it was something in the latch. Back to Service for repair May 2025. January 2026 - Inspection due for Feb 2026. Prior to bringing it in I had called because the driver's side window would stick if halfway up and it required putting the window all the way down before I could put it up again. Since it was due for inspection, I opted to have it repaired at the time. I was notified when part came in and took it in for the winder and inspection. No problems but the tech who did the inspection while putting on the correct sticker, wrote on the inside of the sticker that it expired January 2027 (vs February 2027). Just annoying. Two weeks later, new window motor stopped working. Called for new appt and part. More waiting and more inconvenience. March 2026 - Another new window motor installed. March 2026 - Regular Maintenance. At that time requested tire rotation and advised that right passenger tire kept leaking air and asked that it be check. April 2026 - Same tire still leaking air (same location). Didn't appear any of the tires were rotated. Called and asked them to verify they checked leak and rotated the tires but Service could not confirm. They advised leaking tire had an unrepairable nail and new tire would be needed. Purchased new tire and Service rotated tires with new tire on front driver's side. May 2026. I now have the driver's side rear tire leaking air. Took to my regular mechanic late in day to put air in the tire and he advised I have tire rot on that tire as well as the others. Just to be sure, I had another auto place check the tires (not mentioning anything about dry tire rot). Sure enough I was told I have dry rot on the tires. Are you kidding me? I've had the car a year and half and I now need new tires. The car only had 10,600+ miles on it at purchase and now has slightly over 20k. No way should I have tire rot. I've never had this happen. And shouldn't that have been noticed when they checked/rotated the tires?? So now I'll have to purchase 3 new tires for a car with less than 21k miles. Car is in my mechanic's garage for new tires, BUT he called me asking where the key is for the wheel lock. Not in glove box, not in back with jack or spare. I called service manager at Conicelli and he said if it's not there, the only option would be for me to have it towed there (one tire is too low for me to drive on) and they would unlock the wheels and replace with regular lug nuts. NO WAY am I going to do this. So now I have to purchase a wheel lock kit from Hyundai and reschedule to have new tires placed on my car. 3 Tires from Hyundai (a reliable brand) are more expensive than what my mechanic charges for 4 upgraded tires. I'm at the point now that every time I get in the car I think "what next??!!" and regret purchasing it all together. What's the point if I can't be confident in it. I would warn anyone considering this dealership to be VERY cautious about service and customer care. read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would do that. I had a wonderful buying experience with Conicelli; however, when I purchased my vehicle, it was under the premise that a few things that were damaged/broken would be repaired. The seller coordinated an appointment for me to drop my car off to be repaired. I communicated the issues that needed to be fixed to Rachel, who told me I could drop my car off on 12/26/25. That day, I went to drop my car off, they told me they did not know I was coming, did not have an appointment for me, and that my car would have to wait until the following Monday to be worked on. I said no problem as my husband and I were both off from work for the holidays and didn't need both cars. I told Conicelli the latest that I needed my car back was 1/4/26 for me to go to work the next day. DAYS after my car was in their shop, it was radio silence from Conicelli. I tried calling multiple times and left voicemails looking for an update, never having my calls returned. Ultimately I sought help from the seller, who was the only one who was able to communicate with the service department by calling and going over to speak to someone in person. After a week of my car being in their care, I was informed that they needed to order a part and my car would not be finished by 1/4 as I requested. My husband and I made it work with one vehicle for work at the beginning of that week; however, I told Conicelli on Tuesday of that week that if my car was not completed by Thursday, I would need a loaner car. On Thursday morning, I get a call from Ruthann that not only did Conicelli order the wrong part for my car, that she wasn't sure if they had a loaner available for me, and would call me back. After waiting hours for a call back that NEVER came, I was forced to go down there and ask for a loaner car in order for me to get to work. When I picked up the loaner that Thursday, I was told my car would be done the next day. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday pass with no word from Conicelli. Monday I was informed they had the correct part and it would hopefully be done Tuesday, maybe Wednesday. Finally, I get a call today (Wednesday) that my car is FINALLY done and I can come pick it up. I show up to pick up my car, and they can't find my keys. Ruthann offers me to keep the loaner car until they can find my keys. I do not live close to Conicelli, so they were essentially asking me to come back another time until they found my keys. Once they finally found my car, my name and address were both spelled wrong on the paperwork. This place is top to bottom, start to finish, the definition of incompetence and apathy when it comes to customer care and the quality of their work. The fact that they had my car for almost 3 weeks on a job that should've taken a day is inexcusable. Furthermore, their lack of communication, organization, and frankly forethought is embarrassing. If you want quality care for your vehicle, stay far away from this place. read more

Working at the dealership was one of the most demoralizing experiences I've ever had. The environment was toxic from the top down. Managers regularly belittled employees, speaking to us with zero respect and often in front of others just to assert dominance. It felt less like a workplace and more like a place where your self-worth was chipped away day by day. To make matters worse, the pay was never consistent. Week after week, we were left guessing when--or if--we'd be paid on time. There was always some excuse, always a delay, and never any accountability. It's hard enough dealing with verbal abuse daily, but doing it while struggling to get paid what you've already earned? That's beyond frustrating--it's degrading. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star but I didn't have a choice. This has been an absolutely terrible experience from the very beginning. The Hyundai service team at this location is by far the WORST I've ever dealt with. Do NOT bring your vehicle here for service. My car was towed in on 4/7 for engine issues, and I scheduled an appointment for prior to my car being towed for the appointment on 4/17. From the start, dealing with Ruth Ann has been a nightmare. My first interaction with Ruth Ann on 4/9 was shockingly bad. I called to confirm that my car had arrived after the tow, and she couldn't locate my car or information. Instead of trying to help, she kept saying it wasn't their fault--that the tow truck drivers should know where to drop cars off. Neither I nor my husband were ever told about specific drop-off instructions when we made the appointment with Seth. Still, Ruth Ann refused to take any responsibility and was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, while I was on the phone with her, she didn't even mute the call and openly complained to a coworker about being "slammed with questions"--with zero regard for how that might sound to a customer. It wasn't until I lost my patience that her tone shifted. Fast forward to 4/17, the day of the scheduled appointment ( I have the confirmation to prove). I had to call them (of course, no one reached out to me). Ruth Ann answered and gave me incorrect information on another car, then said she made an ass of herself because that was not my car, then left me on hold for over 40 minutes. When I finally called back from another number she all of a sudden picks up my call, then she asked me for my name again--info she already had earlier. This was hands down the worst customer service I've ever received in my LIFE!!!!!! Later, on 4/18, I received a call from Justin Thomas at 7am, the service manager, and his attitude was just as bad. He was rude, aggressive, and clearly had no interest in helping. He told me that nothing had been done on my car and how they had 17 cars in front of my car and that my appointment had been pushed back to 4/30--without any notice or explanation. When I mentioned that I had received a confirmation for the 17th, he dismissed it completely, saying that those confirmations "don't mean anything." He also informed me they don't offer loaner vehicles and that I was welcome to take my car elsewhere--even implying that any other dealerships would make me wait months until the car is diagnosed. Well, I did take my car to another dealership, and within the same day my vehicle was tolled in I received a call from the new dealership confirming they had received my vehicle and would start working on Monday 4/21. So no, Justin--that's not how all dealerships operate. Just yours. Thank you Justin for the suggestion! I sure did that! Cost me more money to have my car serviced out of your dealership but IT'S WORTH THE PIECE OF MIND!!!!!!!!!! This dealership is a complete disaster. They are disorganized, disrespectful, and clearly don't care about their customers. They won't keep you updated, they'll delay your service, and they'll treat you with zero courtesy if you dare ask questions. The only nice person when checking out our vehicle was the manager Angie in accounting, she was professional and highly helpful. One Star. Avoid Conicelli Hyundai at all costs--they are the definition of unethical "stealership" tactics and have zero respect for their customers' time or money. I spent my Friday finalizing a $25,600 deal for a 2023 Certified Pre-Owned Tucson SEL with Salesperson Tristan Maines. After driving 40 miles from Mt. Laurel, NJ, to their Conshohocken location, the experience turned into a total nightmare. First, they tried to hide interior damage. When I pointed out scratches on the center panel, they gave me the runaround: "we'll fix it," then "we'll paint it," then "we can't do it today." Their "generous" solution for the damaged interior? A measly $20 discount. The real lack of ethics started once they took my insurance and down payment info. After making us wait over an hour, they came back with a predatory 21% APR. While we were processing that shock, Tristan and the General Sales Manager, Bradley Faulkner, used high-pressure "scare tactics," claiming another buyer was waiting. The moment we agreed to the terms, they pulled the rug out. Bradley Faulkner informed us the car was "sold" to someone else right under our noses. Then came the bait-and-switch: they spent the next hour aggressively forcing us toward a new $39,000 car that was $14k over our budget, trying to exploit our large down payment. To make matters worse, we spent from 11:30 AM to 4:45 PM trapped at the dealership. They didn't even offer us food; we had to order our own lunch while they played games with our time. I spent almost $350 on Uber to get from Mount Laurel to the dealer and back. After everything was agreed upon, I left empty-handed, out hundreds of dollars in travel costs, and having wasted an entire day. These people have zero human decency and zero ethics. They don't care about agreements; they only care about hunting for the biggest commission. They wasted my time, my gas, and my trust. Update: I received a message on Yelp asking for my number so they could do right by me after leaving the previous review below. the service manager called me and invited me to come in while he was there to go over the issues I saw. I got there and he came out greeted me and had them take my car in right away. He explained that due to all the broken mounting areas underneath my car there was no way to do anything but zip ties. They put my car on the lift and brought me out to have a look. He pointed to all the places connectors should be and I could see it's all broken. He told me the damage was extensive and I will need to go to a body shop for something like that. The dealership does not do that type of repair. I'm happy he reached out. After I understood that this was the only thing the mechanics could do to fix what I had done to my own vehicle, I figured I better amend my review. Original: I scheduled service for a recall. No openings so I had to schedule like a month prior. So I call earlier in the week to make sure the ordered the part. They didn't. They also aren't planning on it. I was told I need to come in and see if I need it. Then if I need it I have to make another appointment. In my mind there will be more people coming in for that part so you should have it on hand. I didn't cancel because I was like I have to get this done so it's whatever. All dealerships are a month out right now. The guy doing my service was great. He came out and told me there were some issues underneath the car. He even took pictures and showed me so I could see he wasn't making stuff up. So I agreed to having some new covers put under the car to protect its internals. It looked good walking out to the car. Next day I see the plastic they put on is hanging off already. So I get under there and see it's just a couple zip ties. I could've done that shit myself. It looks terrible. I paid money for this. I tried complaining and got absolute radio silence. I purchased a 2025 GV70 and the dealership scheduled me for a specific date and time to take delivery. You would think that the dealership would have the car prepared and the paperwork ready to go - especially since no financing was required - but the car was filthy and it took them hours to get the paperwork ready, even though I had arrived precisely at the scheduled time of my delivery appointment. Prior to delivery the staff didn't bother to even look inside the car to see the dirt, debris, fingerprints and general crud all over the interior. This was a brand new car. And because the car had to go back to the detailing shop, consuming yet another hour+, the dealership never even bothered to go over any of the features or setup of the vehicle with me - because after 3+ hours of delay, it was now closing time. And then to make matters even worse, once the vehicle finally came back from detailing, I found several prominent scratches on the right side of the car. As if nobody at the dealer even bothered to look at the car before delivering it. Complete inattention to detail and complete lack of care for the customer experience, not to mention a total devaluation of the customer's time. If I decide to buy another Genesis in the future, it will absolutely not be at this dealer, I generally do not write reviews of businesses, good or bad, but my experience was so uniformly awful at Genesis of Conshohocken that I can only recommend avoiding this dealership completely. read more

We finally received our car back today with a new transmission and electronic display. It's as good as new and we weren't charged a penny. I am updating our review to "good" instead of "excellant" because it was 45 days and a lot of frustration to get to this point. I will only use Conicelli for warranty issues with my car. RUN, do not walk AWAY from this dealer. Typical car salesmen you would expect - liars. Worked on a lease with Lori and Brad. All details of my current leased car were provided to them. Took off work early, drove 1.5 hours. The atmosphere in there was extremely unprofessional from the start. No on knew were Brad was. Paperwork isn't even ready, so waste more time there. After 2.5 hours, tell us, 'well, the monthly lease price is actually $60 more'. They seemed to be "confused ' on the numbers of the car they were taking. No surprises, they had my cars info/ VIN for 2 weeks, and NOW they say sonething is wrong? They either did not do their homework or the typical bait and switch. ​ read more

Purchased a brand new Hyundai, it was a beautiful car. The purchase went very smoothly and we were extremely happy until the car did not start and we had to work with their service department which was less than stellar. I am a reasonable person they just had to be civil and not completely ignore us everytime we called after just purchasing a brand new vehicle.
