Ok where to begin? , I guess we will start with the good part. 1. It' was easy to book.2. Showed up early 3. Seemed very friendly. Now let's get to what we got ( and yes there are some out of their control issues ) During service the ( friendly) part kind of disappeared, yes he was fighting wind but what do you expect when you show up with a Lowe's purchased blackstone ? He kept losing the flame to which I find odd since I have the same black stone I cook on in the same back yard . We help facilitate moving his set up and putting up an ez up asking with a grill cover to help block the wind. We understood that it was not ideal conditions , however his frustrations seemed to take over. Food quality was good ( the steak was prime and cooked well, rice was done to restaurant quaility, chicken was under cooked by about 4 minutes ( but understanding wind issues ) we looked past that. Now here comes the fun part .. the total paid .. and what comes after .. edited There was some misunderstanding about the total gratuity that thought should have been paid out. After posting my initial review of this small business owner ( they ) had reached out directly and apologized what had occurred and that is highly appreciated. We understand running a small business is not easy and we survive and thrive off our customers reviews.Everyone has an off day and I do not suppose this is a normal occurrence. These guys came out to Torrance for my brother in law's birthday. Chef Allen was super nice and had plenty of tricks up his sleeve to keep everyone engaged and entertained. The food was really good and flavorful, and I regret not trying the bang bang sauce. Most items were plenty delicious without the sauce. We had salad with ginger dressing (tasted fresh like he made them in batches), fried rice (really good and garlicky), veggies (came sauced and also v good). I had the NY strip and scallops. Both were cooked and seasoned well. Steak was not too saucy so you can enjoy as is or dip it in sauce. I usually find hibachi to be a little on the bland side, so I was very pleasantly surprised with all the flavor in this food. They offer pretty competitive pricing and will get the party started, even on a Sunday afternoon. Book them! read more

I hired Just One Hibachi for my husbands 40th birthday last night and they were fantastic! One thing that really stood out was Chef Allen's communication prior to the event. He is quite responsive and professional, explaining cost breakdowns etc. At the time of the event, they were on time and so entertaining. The food was VERYYYYY delicious! Allen showed up promptly and set up very efficiently. He was super easy to work with and needed almost no help other than showing him where we were asking him to put his hibachi. Really, it took all the work and worry out of hosting our guests. The food was excellent. He began with fried rice; he then made wonderful vegetables (folks who did not wolf down their fried rice for able to have the following courses with their fried rice); then steak ((fantastic!); and then great shrimp (an extremely generous helping for each person). Allen is also an excellent host. He hit the perfect balance of being engaging and entertaining, but also leaving us room for our own conversation. He had a fun little Magic tricks between courses, as well, that we all loved. Our only possible suggestion is that he have a non-alcoholic alternative available (or just let people easily take a pass) for the group participation because some people do not drink (religious reasons/medical/in recovery). We will definitely bring Allen back again soon! We cannot recommend this experience enough. read more

Best mobile hibachi ever! The flavor is so rich and authentic. The chef has a presentation that is hard to beat. You won't be able to find this kind of service anywhere else. He treated our party of over 50 people and children. He was very kid friendly also, kept a safe environment and was very aware of his surroundings.
