Just salad recently opened in Waterford Lakes. I've been in a season on trying to be mindful of what I put in my body. Just Salad was exactly the place. They make hearty salads and wraps with fresh veggies, fruits and lentils. They have different meal options and combos that make the food affordable for any budget. I had the Winter Harvest Salad. It's a seasonal salad. I highly recommend. The sweet potato's were a perfect pair to the salad. The salad also comes with a hot honey goat cheese that was a dream. Just salad is just ok for me. Gorgeous interior for sure at the Waterford lakes location. I got the honey chicken wrap which was stuffed full and had great flavor. But the main component, the chicken was lacking. To be honest, it didn't seem like fresh chicken but a frozen strip. The lemonade was fine, the chocolate chip cookie was fire and I would go back just for another one. Service was fine, if a bit frazzled. But the lack of cup lids and to go bags really put me off. I am all for saving the environment but having to carry two food items, two full cups and my child was too much. I hate to leave a poor review because I had such high expectations for this place. They opened up right next to my work, and we were so excited! In the beginning it was wonderful - the salads were delicious, and even though it was expensive. It was a reasonable value because they give you a nice portion size. Now, the last few times I have been, it's already going downhill. Today, my salad didn't even go halfway up the bowl. And it's $12! Also, the service is hit or miss. Some people are exceptionally nice and others are exceptionally rude. I just can't justify continuing to go here. I hope they turn it around because it's a great idea. read more

I think this place is still figuring things out in the new Waterford location. I've eaten here several times and the salads have been excellent, mostly. Today they failed to add bread to our order even though it was written on the order form, and one of the salads we ordered was a strange conglomeration that had all of the ingredients of a chicken Caesar salad (which I didn't order) plus they tossed in some corn and pickled onions , but aside from that it wasn't even close to the chicken poblano salad that I actually ordered. Oh, and it was all romaine lettuce, no kale at all. The two guys there seemed a bit overwhelmed so maybe it was just a rough day. We'll give them another try in a few weeks and see how it goes. read more

Overall, I'm happy to have a new healthy option in Waterford. While a franchise, this location is brand new, so they probably need some time to work out the kinks. Right now, it's a little overpriced for a lackluster option. Both my companion and my bowls were decent, but nothing outstanding to make me want to necessarily go back. Actually, mine was a little worse since I noticed that my jammy egg was overcooked (while hers wasn't). I got the farmers' bowl because I love brussel sprouts, but however they cook, it makes it taste microwaved, and then they left off the dressing. Unfortunately, I had ordered online, or it would've been relatively easy to fix in store, so I recommend building at the counter. read more

We love coming here for a delicious salad, wrap or bowl. They are large and so flavorful. They have a large of already created salads that's change seasonally or you can also make your own. Very nice alternative to Pizza or Burgers which what we were looking for when we found "Just Salad" The place itself is new and tastefully decorated. The atmosphere is a little noisy ant the ceiling has now soundproofing and the floors are cement. But we came for the food. Choices include salads, bowls and wraps plenty of choices for all kinds of diets. Vegan, Gluten etc. The salad greens are very greasy and displayed up front in the cooler/bin and are rotated and refreshed frequently. They also are very environmentally conscience and offer reusable salad bowls and periodic offers to go along with them. Ask for manager Andi for details. I felt that the salads were way overpriced for the product. I found that if you stick to the menu and don't customize as that is one of the options, you can come away under $15. When I customized that same salad it was $28! I felt that the portion was small for the price. They do not offer iceberg lettuce. The bright star was the house made maple vinaigrette. My order was for pick up so I ordered on line. I don't know if the experience would have been different had I dined in. I give it two stars because I like the salad. But i've gone here about 5 times and ordered the same thing every time and have been charged 5 different prices each time. I was charged $3.49 for 4 small pieces of beyond chicken the size of my finger tip. No thank you! It's almost like the built in price for the (real) chicken that's included was taken away and instead they billed me for a new meat instead of a small up-charge like they did in the past. Wonderful establishment! Food was ready quickly and the environment is very clean. One worker specifically named Mailah was especially wonderful and helped me pick out what was most popular. I got the cilantro lime chicken bowl and it was extremely delicious and came with a good amount of food for the price.
