Park Avenue smoothie's are the most reasonably priced smoothies in town. Ranging from $7-$9, and they are huge. The service is always super fast and everything is so fresh. The a a great little hole in the wall to grab a quick breakfast or lunch and they have a huge selection of options that fit all dietary needs. The building it self is a bit small but there is a few tables inside and outside. FYI if you are taking your meal to go there is a 5 min parking spot right in front. read more

I don't normally do reviews.. but this place truly is a hidden gem. Because tell me why this was the best açaí bowl i've ever had in my life! As a Socal local, there are many great açaí places but this one is so special i'll be missing it back home.. I came in to pick up some lunch to go and had a good experience. The store was clean and service was good. I got a Buffalo chicken sandwich which consisted of Boar's Head deli Buffalo seasoned chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and peppercorn gormaise. The sandwich was really well constructed. It had plenty of filling, but didn't fall apart. They stacked the meat in and put sauce on both slices of bread. It was a solid sandwich. Their stuff in general is a little pricey for a sandwich and a bag of chips, but it's worth it. read more

I was walking around Park Ave the other day when I found Park Ave Smoothie Cafe. I grabbed a Happy Karma smoothie- I'm a sucker for strawberry and mango! The service was fast, and the staff was very kind. I liked the range of menu options they had, and definitely would swing by next time I'm in the area to try more. The smoothies were very large and delicious! We called ahead as we got a little lost trying to find them and they were very helpful in explaining where their cafe was. I got the açaí berry smoothie and added nutella which was delicious! My favorite place to get smoothies & smoothie bowls (açaí bowls). The coolada craze smoothie is my favorite and I always get the build your own açaí bowl with 5 toppings and this time I tried the blue magik bowl which was amazing & so pretty. First time trying this place, ordered from door dash. Got a turkey wrap, the picture shows that it comes with lettuce. It also had walnuts, apple slices and a vinaigrette dressing. I ordered medium amount of dressing. First the wrap itself was stale and extremely dry! Second, just turkey, walnuts, and apple slices. No lettuce. When I tell you that this was the driest thing I've ever eaten, it was like the Sahara! This is a first impression, never ordering from there again! read more

A very mediocre cafe with a lackluster staff. Came here with my girlfriend and ordered some sandwiches after reading about the fresh baked bread. What we got was two extremely dry sandwiches, just a stack of meat and cheese with one piece of lettuce separating the slices of wonder bread. They got both orders wrong and loaded up one with an allergen. Neither had any manner of sauce, spread or mayo. They were very stingy with toppings - avocado will cost you extra and net two slices. You can easily make a better sandwich at home and save yourself the inflated prices. Smoothies I can't say. We simply did not trust them to get the order right after failing to put together the simplest sandwich I've seen since grade school. There's barely any seating at all. Much better choices on park avenue. read more

This is the best smoothie place I've ever been to. Everything is healthy and organic and they don't use any artificial sweeteners or added sugar in any of their smoothies! I come from Jupiter FL, and I never thought I'd find something that compares to Rock Steady's acai bowl but park ave's is soooo good, way bigger and way cheaper! The owner is there every time I come in and is always so sweet and always looking to make my experience better. If you like smoothies, sandwiches and acai bowls definitely give them a shot! I love this cafe! Reasonable ricing for Park Ave area. You can get lunch for under $10 here. The staff is super sweet and your food comes out quickly. My husband and I happened to be walking by this cafe and stopped in. We were so pleasantly surprised!! The good was amazing!!! And the service from the people who work there was excellent. And it was very clean inside. Since it was our first time it took us a little while to figure out what we wanted to eat. And they were so patient with us and gave recommendations. This is my fave family owned place in the area for sure! The owner is amazing! Friendly, personable, and really cares about what he is serving in his establishment. Staff is always friendly and patient as we peruse the menu trying to decide what we want even though we have been there a million times!!! My personal favorites are the maple turkey wrap, the chicken salad, the green dream smoothie, and the peanut butter lovers smoothie. Never again. Order the blue majik bowl. Acai bowls are suppose to be thick enough for the toppings to remain on top. I received acai soup. By the time I got to car the topping were towards the bottom. I was parked in front of the cafe. Wasted $12. I didn't even want to bother with walking back in for a refund. read more

Luckily, I was planning to eat just the patty, so I was able to rinse it off, but if I had intended to eat it as a regular burger, it would have completely ruined the meal as the bun was covered in the sauce. My sub was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's sauce recommendations. However, I was surprised that the homemade sauce came with a $1.10 charge for each side of sauce--that feels pretty excessive. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.

We were in Winter Park for the afternoon and looking for a good, affordable lunch. I'd heard about…read moreBricks & Bowls before (as well as the Ghost Kitchen concept), so we decided to give it a try. I was immediately drawn to the Ghost Pepper Chicken sandwich. I noticed they offered a Boxed Lunch combo that included a half-brick focaccia sandwich, a choice of side, chips, and a cookie. Under the Soups & Sides section of the menu, I saw soups, salads, fruit, chips, and bread listed, so I asked if I could get the Kale Caesar Salad as my side. I was told it wasn't considered a side. That struck me as a little odd since it was listed under "Soups & Sides," but I didn't press the issue and instead ordered the sandwich and salad separately. I do wish there had been a sandwich-and-salad combo option, especially since it's Florida and 100 degrees outside--hot soup wasn't exactly calling my name that day! The Ghost Pepper Chicken sandwich was a bit dry, and I didn't notice much Swiss cheese or enough ghost pepper bang sauce to add much heat or moisture. On the plus side, the focaccia bread was fantastic, and the sandwich was piled high with sliced chicken. Even the half-brick size was plenty filling. The Kale Caesar Salad was much smaller than expected and, ironically, seemed like it would have fit perfectly as a combo side. It also contained more romaine than kale, with just a sprinkling of baby kale on top. The Caesar dressing, however, was excellent--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. At $6 for a small bowl, I was hoping for a little more substance. I also treated myself to the Belgian Chocolate Salted Caramel Cookie that would have come with the Boxed Lunch combo, and it was outstanding. Soft, gooey, and packed with flavor. Bricks & Bowls has a pleasant outdoor seating area in a courtyard setting, with tables shaded by large umbrellas. Just keep in mind that there is no indoor seating, and even with the shade, it can be pretty warm during a Florida summer. Overall, it was a decent first experience with some highlights and a few disappointments. The food had some strong points, particularly the focaccia bread, dressing, and cookie, but at around $20 for a quick-service lunch, I left feeling that the value didn't quite match the price.

Incredibly disappointed in the TLB. I've been a fan for a long time, especially their dry aged…read moremeats, and am more than willing to pay for this type of product. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.

I really enjoy patronizing family owned businesses like Park Avenue Smoothies. I had a scrumptious Amazing Berries smoothie, it was loaded with so many fruits. Best smoothie in Winter Park, by far. I also had the Park Avenue Veggie sandwich. I love the hummus at this place. You can tell it is homemade and always so fresh. I had them sprinkle a little bit of the tabbouleh on the veggie wrap and it made it even better. My friend had the spinach, strawberry and oven roasted chicken salad and an acai bowl topped with strawberries, granola, almond butter, coconut and chocolate chips. I shared a bit of the acai bowl and it was out of this world. Delicious and freshly made acai base that was loaded with toppings. They are so generous at Park Avenue. Not sure if the granola was freshly made, but it sure tasted like it was. the acai bowl was delicious and in my opinion better than the other ones that I have had in Winter Park. In addition, to being fresh and delicious, the acai bowl price is reasonably priced. We also had the iced green tea and the iced raspberry lemonade tea. both were very refreshing. Everything was wonderful. Chris, the owner of Park Avenue Smoothies always make everyone feel so welcome. He is meticulous on the cleanliness and consistency of the cafe. My family and I visited Park Avenue Smoothie Café in Winter Park yesterday. We had a wonderful experience with great service and very fresh, healthy food. My wife had the Park Avenue Veggie sandwich with a side of the most delicious tabbouleh that we have ever tasted. I say we because I ate half of her tabbouleh after sampling it. She also had the Green Dream smoothie with kale, spinach, avocado, bananas, pineapple and protein. She loved it! I had a toasted Deluxe Oven Roasted Beef sandwich on pita bread with provolone cheese. I also had the Park Avenue Treat smoothie fruit, peanut butter and chocolate chips. This was the best smoothie. All the ingredients were real, with no artificial anything. So many other smoothie places use syrups and processed bases, but, not Park Avenue Smoothie Café. The kids split the Park Avenue Fuel which was an amazing creation of peanut butter, strawberries, bananas, granola and honey on pita. They also had Pitaya Smoothie Bowl (shared one because it was so big) with chocolate chips, strawberries, bananas, coconut and granola. This smoothie bowl was amazing and the girls loved the beautiful pink color of the Pitaya. To top it all off, the staff were so pleasant and friendly. This is a wonderful find in Winter Park. While this was our first time visiting Park Avenue Smoothie Café, it certainly will not be our last. We plan on making this one of our go to places in Winter Park. It may be a little hard to find on Lyman Avenue, between the Gap and the parking garage, but it is well worth taking a few steps off Park Avenue. read more

Everything from healthy ingredients with no artificial anything. Tried the tuna salad the other day, it was the best that I have ever tasted. Salads and wraps are very good too. What can I say, everything that I have tried at Park Avenue Smoothie Cafe is wonderful. They have fresh raw juice too! Love the kale, pineapple, lemon and apple juice! Consistently good. I absolutely love this place. I order lunch for my office from here about 3 times a month. Our personal favorites are the Acai bowls, but there are no bad choices here! Even though I always come in with a large order right at the lunch rush, the staff is always friendly, speedy and accurate. The owner is always there and always greets me with a smile. He helps me carry my large order out to my car, even when I'm parked a block away. He truly puts his heart into his business and it shows. They have a myriad of acai bowls that are absolutely to die for. I have been here twice with my life partner. Both times we have gotten two different bowls and they gave us samples of what the other had. They were about 5 minutes from closing the last time I visited and they weren't like trying to rush us out the door and it didnt appear like they started putting things away prematurely. This is a fast casual establishment where you order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. We ordered drip coffee, Fig latte frittata and burrito in the bowl. The burrito in the bowl could've used more flavor and the bacon wasn't as crispy as I'd prefer, but the potatoes on the side were pretty good. The Frittata looked and tasted amazing. The sauce was on point! The latte was really smooth and felt like a hug. They have a good amount of outdoor seating and it's shaded which works perfect for those hot Florida days. Will definitely be back and see what other seasonal offerings they might have in the future!

I had never had an Açaí Bowl before and I'm glad this was the place to set my bar of standards! I've gone to another place, which was pretty good but this one by far is my favorite. I don't like overly sweet drinks so they offered to go light on the sweetness level and it was perfect. Highly recommend the flan latte and if you don't want overly sweet let them know and they can modify it. If you love sweet drinks you probably will love it as it is. The latte has a dense foam on top which is flan flavored and very delicious.

Lol The team was working really well together to get everyone's food and drinks out in good timing. I think I only waited around 10 minutes for my vanilla iced latte and my spicy tuna. Both were really really good. I can't wait to come back and try other things, this is my second time trying Joe & The Juice and it was actually better than my first time trying it in Miami!

I had signed up for their rewards program since a location was going to open up soon in Waterford Lakes, but I decided to swing by here to try them out first. When you first walk in, it is extremely loud and it seemed rather hard to carry on a conversation. I had placed an order online, but it took pretty long to be completed. In the meantime, customers were pouring in, as the rain came pouring down outside. We sat nearby the pick up shelf and got our drink once it was complete. It was okay, but I had ordered a very basic espresso with oat milk. I think I'd come back again to try their smoothies, but it doesn't seem like a place I'd want to be in for too long.
