    Stepping into the room
    Keshia K.

I took a group of teenagers here as a birthday gift. I felt like I stepped into the twilight zone. The staff is precautious and aware of the safety hazards that can happen. There are waivers to sign and rules to follow. The smash rooms have themes. They also have axe throwing, VR, and paint splash. The inside is a bit intimidating. Loud Rock music is playing. I didn't like the room choices too much, it was all Zombie, bloods, crash, I asked "why can't yal have different themes like unicorn smash or tear up the office." I'm more of a positive and sunshine type of girl but the kids loved. They were able to control the music and smash out.

We went for date night and it did not disappoint. Although it is pretty pricey and the add ons are very cool but also very expensive it was well worth it! We had such a blast putting on our gear and picking out what tools we wanted to use. We were able to play our favorite music so it made the experience even better. I definitely recommend for date night or something to do with friends and family!

I think this is the most fun I've had anywhere since moving to Jacksonville! We paid a little extra to be able to smash a desk + computer + printer + lamp "Office Space" style and it was soooo liberating. The staff was great at explaining the process, they offered a military discount and everything was sanitized and ready for us to break!

10/10 recommend!!! First of all let me start by saying this is a more expensive experience!! However, when you consider the cost of insurance for a business like this you gotta understand that part! But I 100% believe if it's in your range or even if it's not but it's a special occasion and you wanna ignore your range, this is a fantastic opportunity to do so!! They have 4 different types of events here, VR Escape Room, Ace throwing, Rage Rooms, and Paint rooms. They do have a package that lets you participate in all events or bundle 2 or 3 together and I believe it saves you like $10-$20 per person depending on how many you do. I'll put the menu in the photos for sure. So let's get to MY personal experience! I called and made a reservation for my wife and I to do the Rage Room for one of out anniversaries (we have 3 since we were HS sweethearts and have been in each other's lives for 24 years lol) I had issue booking on their website and I would have knocked a star for this if they hadn't been so great about fixing that part of the experience for me over the phone. When I called in I was greeted with a warm and friendly response and they were willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted for our time there. They have add on to their packages and one is a $5 add on for a personalized item to smash (or keep!) that maybe say Happy Birthday or Anniversary or really anything custom you want! This particular Anniversary is our Canniversary and not only did they make an adorable Happy Canniversary sign they even drew out a Can of Worms after I was able to explain the meaning behind the celebration which I thought was just phenomenal. On our way to the venue we have car trouble and I was super upset thinking we would have to cancel after everything. However once I called to let them know we were less than 5 miles away and broke down but I was willing to call an Uber (Thanks Hallah!) if they could work with us being a little late. Not only did she push us back a little she let me know if we needed more time that was okay and just let her know. Once we finally got there it was a simple place with a surprisingly calm atmosphere at the entrance for what it is lol. They have a Foosball table to play for free while you wait which I thought was a great touch! After signing liability waivers they take you to a room to gear up! You get a full body suit, face mask, gloves and 2 smashing weapons. My wife and I decided to get 4. Different Types so we could share and trade instead of doubling down on something. The room comes with a large sledgehammer so we picked a baseball bat, 9 iron, XL Plumbers wrench, and a 2.5' crowbar. The changing room has a locker with a key for personal items also. The basic package has like 15 small items and 5 medium for 30 minutes of mayhem! I did pick an add on package that had 20 more small items, 5 medium and 1 large and that was $35. When we walked into the room the glass panel with our customers banner was there and my wife and I decided it was tooooo cute to smash so we saved it! Once that was put outside the room for safe keeping, they started a timer and gave us access to Alexa for music. We decided Breaking Benjamin would be the best choice and we raged! After completing our rage we went back into the room we changed in to change back into our regular clothes, give back the weapons and get our things. Since we didn't have our car they gave me tape and paper to wrap our anniversary item for safe keeping and we went in our way. I truly can not thank Just Smash That enough for all their accommodations and such a wonderful experience The wife and I will 100% be back!!

Such an awesome experience! My husband and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary here. So many different types of objects to destroy and the Alexa device in the room gave us the option of creating our own soundtrack while we SMASHED!!!! Also a variety of tools to use including baseball bats, mallets, hammers, etc. protective gear was also readily available for use. Highly recommend!

Great place, the staff was super nice and explained everything. You get an Alexa speaker in the rage room for music and a timer. Really fun!!

We wanted to do something different and decided to go smash some stuff. This was a fun experience to do with a group. They give you all kinds of this to smash mirrors, electronics, dishes, we even had an electric piano. The staff was very nice. 10/10 I'd definitely recommend this !

We went to Just Smash It as a team building activity for work. Maybe breaking items and rage just isn't my thing but I really was not a fan of this place. It was dark and creepy. I think the cost of the activity was really not worth what we got out of it. Gave me major Saw vibes being locked in a dark room with a video camera on you. I wouldn't return.

Can't say enough good things about how much fun we had. We came, were suited up, given our choice of demolition tools, and set to work. We were even allowed our choice of music to smash to. The sound of breaking glass is cathartic! It's freeing to be able to smash and destroy without worrying about retribution. Highly, highly recommend, especially after a breakup.

Tired of 2020 and all the crap that has come along with it? This place is an amazing venue to let out the aggression and have amazing fun. We did the package of the rage room and the paint room, which I do recommend for everyone. Leaving the rage room, the adrenaline is pumping and the painting helps level you out. I wish they had a monthly membership

I have been hearing about Picasso's for years now but somehow we never found our way there. But we…read morerecently decided to lock in and we were going to make it. I knew they were in the Mandarin area but wasn't exactly sure where but once we looked it up we realized how often we were in the area. We did come in on a Saturday Night so there was a wait to get in which was about 45 minutes for 2 but lucky Monkey's Uncle is right next-door so we grabbed some drinks there. We got our text that our table was ready and we walked over. Once seated our waitress went over the specials and I checked out the menu. They really have something for everyone and even some New Orleans classics. We of course had to get the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp since it's favorites plus it's one of their most popular dishes so it has to be good and you already know it was. The spicy butter sauce had so much flavor and the shrimp were cooked perfectly and the bread was great for sopping up every last drop of sauce. Being at Picasso's we also had to try a pizza and they have St Louis style which is have never had but I do love a thin crust so we tried the 12" The Gourmet Pizza which comes with Pancetta Bacon, Caramelized Onions, Brie, and Truffle Oil. This pizza was amazing and unlike any I have had. I will say the Brie will catch you off guard at first but this pizza is for sure worth a try. For my entree I went with the Fettuccine Alfredo and I added a Chicken Cutlet for $10. Let me tell you.... This might have been the best Fettuccine Alfredo I have ever hit it's that good. The Fettuccine Alfredo is made in house from scratch which is how it always should be done and the Alfredo is so flavorful. The Chicken Cutlet is also crispy, tender and flavorful as well. You really cannot go wrong with this combo. If you are a connoisseur of Fettuccine Alfredo Picasso's is a place you can not miss. We had an amazing dinner and the staff was so friendly and hopeful from entering to leaving. We for sure will be coming back in the near future to try some new dishes though I don't know how I'm going to be able to come back and not get that Fettuccine Alfredo.

We popped around the corner to a bar and grabbed a drink and before we knew it we were getting called. New for the food, let me preface this portion by saying our eyes were waayyy bigger than our stomachs so we ordered way too much. For starters we ordered BBQ shrimp and the Gormet pizza St Louis style. Both were delicious and perfect appetizers. For my main I got the gnocchi special, but I added sausage and mushrooms to it, which made the dish immaculate! The gnocchi on its own was good but with the extras was five stars. I also tried Mike's Alfredo and it was probably the best I've ever had. For dessert we ordered the gooey butter cake it was scrumptious! The service is also top tier! Our waitress was funny and helpful but gave us time to enjoy our food. There are so many things I want on the menu we will definitely be back.

Having said that what an awesome way to end my birthday with this amazing dinner that I had at this place. One of the best Italian restaurants in Jacksonville I must say. As soon as me and my wife walked in to the restaurant we were greeted and sat right away. The ambiance of this restaurant is truly amazing and very Italian vibe. We were greeted by our server MORGAN who was fantastic from beginning to the end. She suggested some incredible stuff that as a vegetarian I tried and was just amazing. For drinks we had mojito and pinacolada which was nice and refreshing. For appetiser we were recommended with Pomodoro Caprese which was amazing especially their Pesto sauce. For my entree she suggested me Luingini Josephine which was unique and nice pasta. Morgan surprised me with a dessert which was very kind of her. Overall this family owned small business is an amazing must try Italian restaurant. I can't wait to back and try more stuff. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Initially, we were going to Coopers Hawk, but forgot we had to make a reservation a year prior. We were told a 2 hour wait! That is wild given how big the place is. But again it is a Saturday night, and people were smarter than us and made reservations, and thus we left. After giving the news to ogre she full on had a rage attack in the parking lot screaming for those classic Coopers Hawk egg rolls. While we were consoling her I heard a soothing sound coming from behind the restaurant and we landed in front of Enzo's. We were greeted by the kindest owner ever who thankfully along with the help of her staff got us in with no wait, given how packed it was.. We were greeted by a very nice waiter who seemed all over the place though. I think he was definitely new, and was forgetful at times.. Anyways! We got three apps which were all fried stuff. Fried ravioli, Fried mozzarella sticks, Fried calamari. Honestly looking back kind of gross.. but they were solid tasting! Nothing out of the park at all on the apps just your standard.. a little tasteless on the calamari, but then again I had like 3-4 pieces because the ogre consumed them.. but then I got clarification from my good buddy bezos that it was kind of tasteless. The most tastiest was the fried mozzarella! Which shouldn't happen. Onto the entrees! Actually wait side reference note I initially ordered mussels with linguini. It was the worst dish of seafood and pasta I have ever had. I literally NEVER send stuff back, like literally never.. it feels inconsiderate and I feel like a bother even if it is just a little edible I would eat it with no complaints but I literally could not. It was so fishy I am now writing this nauseous. Some of the mussels were also closed, cold or broken.. it was just very very poor and I'm mad I had three mussels. The first one was crazy fishy, but I gave it another shot and then another, because I believe in second and third chances. But no, I was grossed out. Not to mention consuming all the fried prior. I also ordered a soup that was forgotten, and didn't get my cocktail sauce, but not really an issue if the dish was made to torture people with. Eventually I did get my soup and it wasn't bad! But now onto the entrees! Bezos: Chicken francese Tragic: veal parm Ogre: Chicken parm Doctor B Wife: Chicken Caprese Me: after the swap I got Veal Parm (thanks tragic) Oh and we had some garlic bread, but it needed some sauce or added flavor with it idk.. Reviews! Ogre: The chicken was good Wife: Mid Bezos: *yawn* ummmm Tragic: Italian stallion Me: the veal was solid, but that dish was so bad before that I lost all my appetite and I am just bleh.. and our waiter seemed a little lost.. again nice guy but come on. All in all we are grateful we were taken in by Enzo's and that owner seemed like she was a hardworking person that definitely can inspire her staff. I loved the piano playing, and the environment was really pleasant. Although me personally I disagree with the food, that dish was the worst ever, and our waiter again although nice was extremely forgetful. I feel sick to my stomach and I probably am going to vomit. But thank you again you gave us a good night and a place to eat..

I laughed initially when I saw this was New York-style, because being from Philadelphia, we have the best pizza up in the Northeast, but to be honest, the quality of the crust, the quality of the cheese, and the quality of how the pizza was made was incredible. The vibe inside was really cool. We ended up carrying out, but we enjoyed how cheesy both the margherita and the white pizzas were. We thought the crust had a lot of volume. We thought there was an overabundance of garlic on the white pizza and basil and sauce, which was very, very tasty on the mamargherita Overall, we just love the pizza, and we've already recommended it to two of our friends, so we will definitely be coming back to Tony D's. Really enjoyed this one.

Guess I just like my margaritas truly traditional. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer and also got the bread (which comes with roasted garlic, sun-dried tomatoes and a full roasted garlic glove to spread). I loved the free bread but really REALLY loved the hummus. I've had many variations of hummus and this was my favorite thus far. See photos and menu, but this is a must. I must have been so enamored with the hummus because I forgot my picture of the Margherita pizza. The pizza was fairly standard for me but it was standard in a good way. The basil popped off this pizza and must've been hand picked to be so flavorful. For dessert, we got a complimentary house made ice cream.
