We had a spontaneous day date and chose Just Smash That for the Rage Room. What. A. Blast. We opted for one of the glow/neon rooms (Disorderly Conduct) and added on a bonus package that included a tv and a nightstand, as well as an extra bin of smaller items. We checked in and then suited up in protective gear: coveralls, gloves, and full head mask. We could also each select two weapons (think hammers, crowbars, golf clubs, tennis rackets, bats, etc). One sledgehammer was already in the room. For 30 minutes, we got to blast music through the blue tooth speaker and just obliterate anything in the room. My husband loved the furniture and the electronics.My favorite was knocking the keys off a keyboard and smashing the glasses with the crowbar. While it's not an every day activity, I would absolutely come back and do it again! Staff was super nice and friendly and it was absolutely worth the drive from St. Aug to Orange Park! They also offer VR escape rooms, axe throwing and a few other little activities. read more

I wanted to take my son somewhere different and found this on a google map search. It wasn't far from where we were staying. Waivers are required prior to any of the activities. I chose the paint and smash room as a "bundle." It is pricey so if you have multiple kids you're paying for...get prepared to spend dat, lol. My son had a blast and actually got tired in the smash room. He NEVER gets tired. They give you a container of items to break by using different tools or throwing in certain areas of the room. They give you an option to add more items, but you're already spending a lot. This wouldn't be a regular activity for us, but it was fun. read more

I took a group of teenagers here as a birthday gift. I felt like I stepped into the twilight zone. The staff is precautious and aware of the safety hazards that can happen. There are waivers to sign and rules to follow. The smash rooms have themes. They also have axe throwing, VR, and paint splash. The inside is a bit intimidating. Loud Rock music is playing. I didn't like the room choices too much, it was all Zombie, bloods, crash, I asked "why can't yal have different themes like unicorn smash or tear up the office." We went for date night and it did not disappoint. Although it is pretty pricey and the add ons are very cool but also very expensive it was well worth it! We had such a blast putting on our gear and picking out what tools we wanted to use. We were able to play our favorite music so it made the experience even better. Definitely recommend doing 30 min vs 60 as the stuff is all broken pretty quickly depending on the size of your party. You have to sign a waiver before you participate and I did, so disclaimer that the injury I got here was in no part their fault and was my own stupidity. BUT, even past all the fun that my friend and I had here (which was amazing; it's a stress relief session, time to jam, and workout all at once), I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to the two ladies who we saw working on the afternoon of May 2nd. I absolutely slammed a hammer handle into my own shin (giant bruise but all good a day later) and both of them were so kind, got me ibuprofen, some cold water, an ice pack, and let me sit in their prep room as long as I needed before I felt okay to leave. 10/10 recommend!!! First of all let me start by saying this is a more expensive experience!! However, when you consider the cost of insurance for a business like this you gotta understand that part! But I 100% believe if it's in your range or even if it's not but it's a special occasion and you wanna ignore your range, this is a fantastic opportunity to do so!! They have 4 different types of events here, VR Escape Room, Ace throwing, Rage Rooms, and Paint rooms. They do have a package that lets you participate in all events or bundle 2 or 3 together and I believe it saves you like $10-$20 per person depending on how many you do. I'll put the menu in the photos for sure. So let's get to MY personal experience! I called and made a reservation for my wife and I to do the Rage Room for one of out anniversaries (we have 3 since we were HS sweethearts and have been in each other's lives for 24 years lol) I had issue booking on their website and I would have knocked a star for this if they hadn't been so great about fixing that part of the experience for me over the phone. When I called in I was greeted with a warm and friendly response and they were willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted for our time there. They have add on to their packages and one is a $5 add on for a personalized item to smash (or keep!) that maybe say Happy Birthday or Anniversary or really anything custom you want! This particular Anniversary is our Canniversary and not only did they make an adorable Happy Canniversary sign they even drew out a Can of Worms after I was able to explain the meaning behind the celebration which I thought was just phenomenal. On our way to the venue we have car trouble and I was super upset thinking we would have to cancel after everything. However once I called to let them know we were less than 5 miles away and broke down but I was willing to call an Uber (Thanks Hallah!) if they could work with us being a little late. Not only did she push us back a little she let me know if we needed more time that was okay and just let her know. Once we finally got there it was a simple place with a surprisingly calm atmosphere at the entrance for what it is lol. They have a Foosball table to play for free while you wait which I thought was a great touch! After signing liability waivers they take you to a room to gear up! You get a full body suit, face mask, gloves and 2 smashing weapons. My wife and I decided to get 4. Different Types so we could share and trade instead of doubling down on something. The room comes with a large sledgehammer so we picked a baseball bat, 9 iron, XL Plumbers wrench, and a 2.5' crowbar. The changing room has a locker with a key for personal items also. The basic package has like 15 small items and 5 medium for 30 minutes of mayhem! I did pick an add on package that had 20 more small items, 5 medium and 1 large and that was $35. When we walked into the room the glass panel with our customers banner was there and my wife and I decided it was tooooo cute to smash so we saved it! Once that was put outside the room for safe keeping, they started a timer and gave us access to Alexa for music. We decided Breaking Benjamin would be the best choice and we raged! After completing our rage we went back into the room we changed in to change back into our regular clothes, give back the weapons and get our things. Since we didn't have our car they gave me tape and paper to wrap our anniversary item for safe keeping and we went in our way. I truly can not thank Just Smash That enough for all their accommodations and such a wonderful experience The wife and I will 100% be back!! read more

Had an absolutely amazing time. Started off with their VR escape room. It blended all of the fun of a video game with the puzzle solving of an escape room. We went to Just Smash It as a team building activity for work. Maybe breaking items and rage just isn't my thing but I really was not a fan of this place. It was dark and creepy. Booked a session Sunday morning for Sunday evening. Booked on the website and was charged for the session. Unfortunately, prior to my time, they called me due to card decline and refused to honor my booked session even though my bank showed the charge as pending and confirmed with approval, not declined. After contacting my bank today, the charge is still pending and will post tonight. The decline was received by the location because they ran my card a second time and my bank saw the second charge as fraudulent and declined it. So my evening with my son was ruined because they tried to double charge my card and then blamed me for the issue. Oh, and they don't offer refunds. This is a very shady business. read more
