If this review was based off a flavor, it would most likely get 4-5 stars, if this is based off of portion sizes and the amount of protein with your meal, it would only be two stars. We came here on a Saturday night at about 6pm and did not have reservations and were told we needed to sit at the bar but there were plenty of tables outside empty when we arrived as well as when we left. I have been craving chicken marsala for quite a while and they had it here. Do not let the photo for you. There was four very small thin pieces of chicken under all those mushrooms and marsala sauce, I doubt if it was 6 ounces of chicken. I got my pasta on the side which I'm sure makes a different as far as feeling like there's enough food. But I never eat all of my food and I ate all of my chicken easily. The marsala sauce was a bit sweet, but I thought it was delicious and my husband ordered the chicken alla enza extra spicy. He said it had excellent flavor, but also agreed extremely small amount protein/meat that was in there. There was only three small slices of Italian sausage not even enough to equal one sausage link, and 3 to 4 ounces of chicken We were greeted promptly with friendly service, but I feel for the pricing there are so many better places to go In response to the owners reply below, I appreciate them taking the time to reply, but at the same time, I don't order my chicken dishes because I want to get satisfied on pasta. If I wanted to get satisfied on pasta, I would order a perhaps baked pasta dish, or one of your pasta only specialties.

Stopped in for an early dinner on a meatless for us Friday. We each had a glass of Meiomi Pinot Noir ( one of our favorites). We sat at the bar and indulged in appetizers. Calamari , bruschetta and Shrimp. All very delicious and our server/ bartender was fabulous. Nice touch with a piano player as well

Best tiramisu I have had in a very long time. So I'm not a big tiramisu but my friends recommended so we went for it. It was so airy and creamy. We also enjoyed the spinach ricotta ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo. The fettuccine was perfect and so light and the Alfredo was also creamy but not too heavy or thick. Definitely would get again. The chicken marsala was good just a little more on the sweet side from what I'm use too.

Brooke is amazing! Ask to be seated in her area!

From start to finish, this restaurant delivers an outstanding experience. The food is absolutely exceptional--every dish is prepared with care, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The service is just as impressive, our hostess was Brooke and she gave us her favorite dishes but also stated everything was delicious. We all tried one another's meal and she was right! She also mentioned their dressings were homemade and I asked if we could have a flight of dressings, I was joking, but she said "sure"with excitement. My favorite was the Bleu cheese, but they are are so good. Enza, you need to start bottling this up so we can take dressings home . The entire staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel welcome without ever being intrusive. We met the owner Enza and she was so sweet, I just had to keep hugging her for her warm hospitality. She took the time to show us the entire restaurant and tell us how she started, I was asking so many questions and the joy in her voice when she was telling us made everything even more special. The ambiance ties it all together--elegant yet comfortable, with the perfect atmosphere for both a special occasion or a relaxed night out. You have to go down the halls and look at her pictures, from her family pictures to pictures she's been given from guests. You also have to check out "My Husbands bar" her hubby's bar. This place truly sets the standard for dining excellence. Highly recommend. I'm sad that this isn't a place we can dine at weekly since we live in California, but I know that when we come back, this will be our must stop restaurant every time! Oh and ask to try her olives, Sooo good!!! Oh and one other thing, they have cooking classes!!! See you all again!

Sat down at 8:02 pm at a high top table behind the man playing the piano. Finally the server came over at 8:08 pm. She's asks would you like anything else besides water to drink and I say no and she replies I'll be right with you and walks away. 8:14 pm some guy just swings by drops of garlic bread. No chance to say anything else. Garlic bread was not appealing and cold. 8:24 pm server comes by with stuff in her hands to ask if I'm doing ok. I said yes and she walks away as I'm getting ready to ask for a cocktail. 8:33 pm I see my server again only to bring my food and rush off. Not even to ask me if I needed nothing else. 8:45 pm came and took the plate and asked if I wanted dessert advised no just the check. She brings the check but then has some other girl come get it from me. Ordered the Chicken Piccata it was ok and the price for what you get is not worth it. VERY INATTENTIVE STAFF! I've been wanting to try this place and sad to say if I come back it will be at the bar. Maybe they will have better service to who has seated. Enjoyable vibe but the service sucks. Server was Candice. I didn't leave a tip I would normally leave if the service was amazing but at least I left something.

I feel bad rating this low due to its popularity, but the food was nothing special - for the prices we expected it to not taste like chain Italian food so paying almost $200 for 2 adults and 2 kids was a gut punch for nothing memorable. We went for Mother's Day to celebrate as we had heard great things. The best part was $15 for a full bottle of wine and great bread, but the food left a lot to be desired. The soup was not good. I LOVE angel hair pasta but there wasn't enough of it - I had a lot more protein by the time I ran out of noodles.

I lost a bet to my husband and this was where he cashed in his winnings. However, I basically won too! Food is a 9.8/10. Always delicious. The seafood combo with angel hair pasta is my go to. The holiday special drink biscotti martini was delicious and sweet. The espresso martini was good. They don't make it with real espresso but the cold brew works too. Service was spectacular. We sat at the bar. Ambiance is amazing. The piano man takes tips and requests. We requested some Frank Sinatra.

    Tiramisu
    Shan T.

We walked in fifteen minutes after opening and of course it was empty at first, but within the hour it was bustling along! After many trips to this restaurant, I still dream about the simple deliciousness that is the tortellini. Personally like the meat tortellini over the cheese, as it stands out more against the carbonara. Chilean sea bass was on special and well worth the market price of the fish. Came whole and perfectly prepared. Crème brûlée is hit or miss. Sometimes it's perfectly crisp and other times it's too burnt to enjoy. Tiramisu had a good flavor, but a little too mushy for me. Great place for a special date or to impress with the live piano performance.

Seeing as that we're not big wine drinkers, we were very happy with the size of the meals, the size of the menu, and just overall the quality and taste of the food that we got. We also really loved that the server brought out some complementary pretzel bread to start us off, along with some butter, which was delicious. We ended up getting a nice bowl of soup that had some shrimp, lobster, and crab in it. It was a bisque, and it was absolutely delightful. Perfect size for just a cup, or if you want to get a nice bowl, that could be probably a meal for you or for someone else. The entrees were delicious, and for dessert we got this baked cookie or brownie sort of thing with ice cream on top. It was like this Reese's peanut butter cup sundae, and it was absolutely to die for. It was one of those meals that you come in hungry and you leave stuffed, and at the end of the meal you figure, "Okay, I'm done eating," but as soon as the server asks, "Would you like some dessert?" even though your stomach's pounding, you say yes. You have to say yes because it's so delightful. Definitely go back to Cooper's Hawk. Had an awesome time. We'll be back soon.

We popped around the corner to a bar and grabbed a drink and before we knew it we were getting called. New for the food, let me preface this portion by saying our eyes were waayyy bigger than our stomachs so we ordered way too much. For starters we ordered BBQ shrimp and the Gormet pizza St Louis style. Both were delicious and perfect appetizers. For my main I got the gnocchi special, but I added sausage and mushrooms to it, which made the dish immaculate! The gnocchi on its own was good but with the extras was five stars. I also tried Mike's Alfredo and it was probably the best I've ever had. For dessert we ordered the gooey butter cake it was scrumptious! The service is also top tier! Once was your typical salsa and the the other was served warm and I will say I really enjoyed each, most then most places. We also got the Queso of course was was a nice large serving and lasted us the whole meal. Ashley and Sally both on got drinks. We Ashley had 4 drinks. She ordered the El Fuego Flight of Margaritas and Sally the Blood Orange Margarita. The flight was $35 and honestly the price is fair for that. You're getting 4, 12oz margaritas all of which are different (spicy) flavors. Looks at the menu for what to get as my entree was was a lot of options I don't normally see and they sounded very good but I had to go with my staple just to she who Pepper's compares to other Mexican restaurants in the area so I went with the California Burrito with Steak. They also had it available to add shrimp for $3 so I did that too. The burrito was huge and stuffed with steak and honestly more shrimp then I expected. The steak was very tender but I wish it and the shrimp were more seasoned. I will say the shrimp were on the small side but when it's $3 that's not bad. Ashley got the a 3 Item combo one of which was a Chile Relleno and this was so good. She loved it and really changed the game for her. We will for sure be coming back. The first thing we noticed was the atmosphere. The dining room is open, colorful, and festive, but it also has a polished feel that elevates the experience a bit beyond the typical casual Mexican restaurant. It felt energetic without being overwhelming. Since we were just stopping in for drinks, we focused on exploring their tequila selection. Pepper's has a respectable tequila list, and one interesting surprise was their house tequila. The tequila itself was smooth and very enjoyable. The bottle label could use a little marketing help, but the spirit inside is excellent. We liked it enough to buy a bottle to take home. For food we ordered the Flaming Queso Dip, which turned out to be a fun and flavorful appetizer. It arrived bubbling hot and was finished with a flame presentation that added a nice smoky depth to the dish. Rich, creamy, and perfect for sharing. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We did not stay for dinner this time, but based on the atmosphere, drinks, and appetizer quality we are already planning a return visit to explore the full menu. If you enjoy Mexican restaurants with great energy, strong tequila options, and shareable appetizers, Pepper's is definitely worth checking out.
