I my past three visits have been not so good in terms of sevice. when checking out once an older lady that semanded a tip. This last time, the cashier lady, named "sweety P. added 5 dollars to my check for her tip. She tricked me by saying outloud the wrong amount, but once I checked the reciept the total was $20 not the $25 she stated. Tips are to the discresion of the customer and they Get upset if you don't leave them what they want. read more

A co-worker suggested this place, so I stopped in. It was around 11:00am on a Saturday, so there were about 3 people ahead of me, and only one person threading. It is located on the 2nd floor near Notdstrom and Belk. Threading is $10, and you can tip on your card. Around 11:45, two others came in, and I was helped by a friendly gentleman. The only downside was that I could smell cigarette smoke on his hands, and the smell lingered after I left. The threading itself was quick...I can't say painless because it does hurt a little. However I was pleased by the shaping for the most part. I took away stars for the super long wait. I just think there should be more people on Saturday mornings. read more

My visit (my first) was 5 Star all the way. I was the first customer when they opened at Noon on Sunday. Hadi introduced himself, asked some key questions and went right to work calling me by name as he did. He cleaned up my brows, ears, and neck. The lady there normally does good on my eyebrows. But recently she has been slacking off with it. To the point where I don't see a change on my eyebrows or something I have to fix them myself. And when she does poorly I don't leave a tip and she mean mugs. Not worth it honestly. read more

I have gotten my eyebrows threaded numerous times at several other salons without ever having a truly bad experience except at Just Stringz. The first time I went to Just Stringz I felt they were putting excessive pressure on my skin while threading, definitely more painful than anywhere else I've been to. But due to its convenient location by my house I decided to go a second time, I went the morning of 8/21/15 and was extremely disappointed. Again, an absurd amount of pressure was used, but this time they cut through my skin. When it first happened she dabbed it with a Kleenex and continued, I couldn't really tell how bad it was cut until I woke up the next morning, the scab had formed overnight and I was quite shocked to see it in the mirror. Never, will I go back to Just Stringz and I would advise everyone else to steer clear! read more

Waxing was my preferred method of eyebrow maintenance for quite a while, but I eventually stopped ignoring the fact that the wax irritated my skin. So I decided to get my eyebrows threaded. I saw an advertisement for Just Stringz in a sales paper and thought it'd be a great place to get my first threading. I was right. The lady who threaded my eyebrows and lip (darn mustache) did a terrific job. I admit it did hurt a little - especially the lip threading - but, hey, no pain, no gain. My eyebrows were threaded and trimmed with tiny scissors and never looked better. The lady was even nice enough to fill them in with a powder they had for sale. I was very pleased and will be going back to Just Stringz for my next threading session. read more

I hate to give a bad review especially since the gentleman that did my brows was so friendly, but I'm never coming back here! I'm a person that has thick hair, including eyebrows. I've been working on growing and shaping my eyebrows for about a year now and while I like my eyebrows to be thick, I like the stray hairs to be cleaned up by getting them threaded because it looks neat and polished. I had been going to another place way out yonder in Grand Prairie that cleans my eyebrows up just right without turning them into thin pencil lines, but I decided why not try Just StringZ since it's in the mall and close to where I live. BAD idea! I always ask that my eyebrows be "cleaned up without making them thinner". I went in with full eyebrows and a few stray hairs and left with thin pencil line eyebrows that look like they've been drawn on! Even worse is they charge $11 when other places I've been to charge $8 or less. I don't understand why some threading places have all these photos of people with thick, groomed eyebrows but then I come out with thin, scary brows after I specifically asked for just a clean up! Now I have to wait for my brows to grow back. read more

I get my eyebrows threaded because it's better for my skin than wax. I have never had a bad threading experience, until I came here. I have three small cuts that are actually more like rope burns under one eyebrow. They look bloody but they're actually under the skin cuts so I can't clean them. When I brought this up to the woman who did my brows, she told me it was because I didn't hold my skin tightly enough. I am very upset by this, because if that were the case, she should have told me to hold my eyebrows tighter. In fact, she did at one point tell me to hold my eyebrows tighter for her, so I shifted my position and she then when right ahead and did them. If I had been holding my eyebrows too loosely, it's on her to tell me. This has never happened to me before because every other threading technician has told me exactly where to put my hands, and if my hands were too loose they DID NOT THREAD UNTIL PROPERLY POSITIONED.
