Took my daughter to get her eyebrows done today and the older lady there today did them so damn thin. I can not even tell you how livid I am. She had the nerve to say yea I cleaned them up really nice um no they are thinner then they have ever been. Beyond pissed! Never coming to this place again. I asked for thick eyebrows. She did them thin and uneven. They look awful and I drove an hour to the location to get them done.

This has been a place I love coming to but only if one specific lady is working. Shame on me for not asking her name as she is the only one to do a good job on my brows. Today I went hoping she would be there but she wasn't ...I still decided to go in anyway as I was running late for a meeting. The lady that did then was nice but the end result wasn't exactly to my liking. I'll take that fault as I should have just come back. What sent my blood boiling was the payment process. I never carry cash and have always paid there with my card. The past few times the points system hasn't been working which is annoying but again not a deterrent. When she swiped my card it didn't work due to their system being offline. She tried several times over the course of about 10mins and even asked me to type the info in. Trying to be a good sport I obliged. They called someone a few times and said their system wasn't working. At this point I would think most would just say this one is on us and let me go. But NOPE. She pointed to the atm across the street and asked if I would be willing to pay cash. I very annoyingly said yes as long as I would receive a discount that accounted for the atm fee. I came back, handed a $20 since that is the smallest amount to withdraw and told her $4 fee. Before I could get that out she handed me a receipt and change reflecting a 10% discount...so $1. A $1?! When I told her that wasn't fair at all she said I shouldn't have taken $20 I should have gotten a smaller amount. So basically my head exploded. As professional as possible I went off. She gave me an additional $3 and then complained about her drawer being short and she would have to replace it...not my problem lady. Not. My. Problem. I won't be returning... read more

Absolute horrible place. I have been getting my eyelashes done for about a year, but the girl I usually go to was out of the country. I researched places that were good to get a refill done. This place is cheap to get lashes done but absolute horrible way of them putting them on. When I usually get my lashes done you are suppose to have your eyes closed but NO this girl told me keep my eyes open. I was hesitant and was confused. When she started to put lashes on I noticed that she wasn't targeting any of my specific lashes ONLY positioning them in random places. I have a mixture of single lashes and two to three. The girl was like you have to get two to three lashes and not single. When I lifted my eyelid I then noticed the glue was clumpy. You can easily from the side the glue is not the usual. I am very upset with this place and wish no one ever goes there. I also brought my mother along to pamper her and get her out of the house. My mom usually gets either threading or waxing done, so it wasn't an issue. The girl that did the full face threading did horrible and completely missed a whole section of hair. My mother also thought about getting her eyelashes done and continued to follow through. The lady continuously switched between clients and did not give my mom the full attention needed. She had two eyelashes on my mom and then switched to another girl. RIDICULOUS. My mother then explained the glue was hurting her and the girl gave my mom a fan as she worked on another girl. To follow through with payment, there is a $20 off voucher online for any new patients. I was new to the salon and thought I could use it. When my mother checks out I presented the coupon to the girl that was specifically on their website and the girl said she couldn't use it. UNBELIEVABLE. read more

Do not go here. You can get much better service and pay 50% less somewhere else. I got my eyebrows threaded and tinted and paid almost $50. You can get this done most please for $25 max. The customer service is also bad. She didn't even bother to ask me what color I wanted my eyebrows tinted. Please go somewhere else. Thread Salon or Styles of India in Murphy is much better and more reasonably priced. read more

I never write reviews but I woke up really annoyed with this place. They do a fabulous job, don't get me wrong. The ladies that work there are nice and professional. I never walk out without feeling like they did an excellent job. However, do NOT pay with a debit or credit card. They will hold your transaction for months and then charge you for every visit all at once. I woke up with an alert from my bank this morning and saw that they had charged me for a visit I made back in July (it's mid October). I think these women are excellent at what they do, but I would pay strictly in cash. read more

This is an awesome place I have been going there for couple years now the service I get is amazing specially with the manger Samar, she is friendly and so sweet told me what I need because I was suffering from acne and the product had helped so much. Been with Summer since she was in galleria had to follow her shes the only person knows how to do her job right! always taking care of me and doing my brows and she suggested to do microblading and omg im amazed with her work i always get compliments and will send her my friends! I enjoyed my first experience and will be back. The pricing was fair. The parking was a bit difficult as they had a few spots sectioned off for construction or an event of some sort. Also, there was definitely some weirdness happening between the two girls there. The older lady seemed to be cheating the other one out of walk ins by forcing the younger girl to ring up all the customers. Apparently they should be completing their own cash outs. Either one, like I said. Pleased with the service... I still had two eyebrows... and I will definitely be back. read more

Did eyebrow microbladding here, I do not recommend. Eyebrows very uneven and she tried to justify if saying that it's because it's the first visit and to come back. Will never come back and recommend everyone to do the same. read more

I typically get my brows and lip waxed, but had been wanting to try threading as waxing irritates my skin. I came as a walk in, it wasn't super busy so I only had to wait for them to finish up on the client ahead of me. This feels similar to plucking, just imagine a bunch of hair plucked in short succession. The prices are very fair, my total before tip was $14 for brows and lip. Nada was my esthetician, she did and awesome job and was really sweet. I prefer how the threaded areas look compared to waxing, this seems to remove even the really short fine hairs that waxing mises. read more

This review is based on customer service as offered by Samar, the store manager of this location. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for the past 15 years. When this place opened up in Garland it was heaven-sent because then I didn't have to drive to Plano or Richardson to get my eyebrows threaded. Everything was good for a while, I tried out different threaders, and Gulnaz is by far my absolute favorite employee there. She's always consistent, very tentative, and above all else POLITE. Samar, however, is not. She's always seen smoking cigarettes outside the store front. When she comes back in and threads my eyebrows, she reeks of cigarette smoke, and I'm stuck because she has to be leaning over my face to be doing her job. She's also not consistent or even about my eyebrows, which clearly, I don't appreciate. If she's the only available threader, I usually wait to see Gulnaz or someone else. If I decide I don't want to use her, she gives me attitude. Um, excuse me? If I prefer someone who does my eyebrows CORRECTLY, I'm going to wait. Afterall, I'm paying for this service. Recently, my mom went to visit this salon and also asked to wait for Gulnaz. Samar gave her attitude and talked about how she was the manager. When my mom was done with her service and was paying, Samar gets up from the waiting area and turns to her and says, "You! You! Come here." And continues to berate my mother for not using her services. When my mom explained to her that she doesn't appreciate her attitude and that she's a paying customer, Samar LITERALLY CHASED HER OUR OF THE STORE and started screaming obscenities down the street. She even called her a "b*tch" several times. What kind of manager is this? What kind of customer service is this? My parents have recently moved out of Garland and into Far North Dallas. We drive all the way from Dallas to Garland for Just Stringz services, but after this most recent experience, guess I need to find a new place. I'd never had my brows threaded before, however I'd been wanting to try threading because I like the way it looks as opposed to waxing. I had been growing out my brows for quite some time with intentions to get them re-shaped through the threading process. I read good reviews about this place so I decided to give it a try. My first experience was good, Neda was my stylist, I was happy with how my brows turned out! I went back a second time about a month later to have them done again. I intentionally got them done by a different person (who's name I did not catch) to see if this place was consistent from stylist to stylist, and once again I was happy with my brows! My only "complaint" if you will, is that I wish they would explain what they are doing before hand, especially since I mentioned that I was new to threading. I was going to do my lip but I seen she only had the white string and that one hurts I usually get the green for sensitive and she got mad because I told her no I wasn't going to do it. I finally found my eyebrow threading place in the Dallas/greater Dallas area! I'm from California and have been missing my regular person back home, but now I will be going for Nada AL Marsed at this location for my eyebrow threading needs. I like my eyebrows thick and curvy so I have had a hard time finding someone since I moved. She greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, we chit chatted during the service in a friendly manner, and she was very sweet about my opinions. I recommend her at this place! read more

Wait time is a little longer then usual but theirs only 3 ladies working. Their work is not too bad but a couple times she arched my eyebrows a little too much while threading. Came out sort of girly. Price is a little over priced for me I usually get it done for 5 bucks at Heenas or a nearby nail salon. Its $10 here and they also ask for tip at the end. read more

Happy with my brows. I asked her not to take off too much and keep them as thick as she could while cleaning them up. She did exactly that. However, customer service could be better. When I walked in I wasn't greeted by the front desk girl. She just sat there. I felt awkward and didn't know if I was just supposed to sit down or put my name down bc there were a few other people there. I just seated myself. This place only wants your money and doesn't care about doing it correctly. My friend and I bought groupons for flare eyelash extensions and it was our first time there. The woman who did my eyelashes said she has done it for 35 years. She did my left eye perfectly but my right eye was a mess. Uneven, overlapping in some places, and outer corner looked thicker than the rest of the eye.She definitely knew what she was doing when she did it. I came back a few days later to get it fixed and she said it could cost $7. I thought that was ridiculous just to fix HER MISTAKES but I went ahead and got it fixed anyways. She added more eyelashes, claiming that I was missing some. I wasn't. She finished and then said it cost $10 and I asked why when you said $7 before. She said she had to use more eyelashes than she thought and I said "but I had to come back to get them fixed." She shrugged and said "They're so cheap." Needless to say, I'm never coming back there again. All she cares about is getting your money and knows exactly what to do to get you to come back. Clients shouldn't have to come back to get their eyelashes fixed; it should be done correctly the first time! I was wearing scrubs the first time I came in so she probably targeted me to get me to come back, thinking I had a lot of money. Sorry, no, I'm a broke college student that does research at the hospital, not work. My friend and I bought the Groupons as a fun thing to do together and while her eyelashes turned out fine, my experience was far from fun. I had redeemed a groupon for Just StringZ at their location in Frisco at the Stonebriar Mall. Honestly, I was disappointed. My skin is too sensitive for waxing and I am too impatient for plucking myself so I was really hoping threading would solve all my problems. I didn't completely FALL IN LOVE with threading until I visited this location in Garland! I will never go anywhere else! She cleaned up the strays, of course, but also understood that I like a very particular shape to my arch and to the tail end of my eyebrow. She perfected it. Also, come to find out, the lady who had been waxing my brows for a while was taking off way too much of where my brows meet the bridge of my nose. After going to this Just StringZ in Firewheel for a while now, they've filled out and are probably one of my favorite attributes! Definitely recommend! First impression - nice decor but it was really awkward because nobody greeted me and no music was playing, so I felt like the other customers and I were just in an awkward room Went to get my eyebrows done, and the woman who did mine (I forgot her name, forgive me) did it so perfectly! I went in two days ago not even a full 48 yet. I received henna on both hands & eyelashes. First off it was quiet no one there so I assumed she had time . She didn't mention any appointments etc. so she did my henna and while that dried began to do my lashes, mind you she simply asked if I've ever gotten the process done (yes), and the length. So she begins, the chemical smell was so strong & she was so rough making my eye flicker. She then was gets loud "Oh MA Gawd, stop moving your eye, keep it open." I literally was like I can't your all up in my eye & it's a natural reflex to blink. I had an event the next day & I was running behind on everything I needed to do so I stayed instead of going elsewhere. So she continues & keeps telling me to keep my eyes like wide open, i was so done, but still stayed bc I really wanted to look perf for the event. Then people began to walk-in, nobody had an appointment just walk-ins(3), they didn't seem like they were in a rush. She was the only one working, and mind you she was already done with one eye at this point. So she begins to rush, making my eye water & flicker more, making her get loud again for me to keep my eye open. Seriously the most horrific experience ever! She keeps telling the ladies waiting "5min left etc" and they're seriously looking at her like chill take your time. So she finished I paid & left. They looked pretty decent nothing I couldn't do at home but sometimes it's nice to get them done right? WRONG! I go home to see clumps of glue on the inside of my lashes! You could literally see each glob! It was so embarrassing when everyone asked oh like what brand of individuals did you put on I had no clue, they really thought I had done it myself which is sad. Anyway fast forward 40 hrs(that's all it has been) & I only have 4 lashes left ! I sleep on my back & didn't use water on my eyes, I'm very careful when I get lash extensions( that's $$) , so she told me they should last 2 wks! They didn't even make it to 2 days!! Never will I return here! Complete waste of money! Everyone should seriously avoid this place & company if this is what their standard is! The henna portion will be a separate review. read more

I called ahead and told the woman i wanted to get eyelash extensions i was very specific in saying individual lashes not clusters, she told me yes to come at 1. i show up and she says that it doesn't show that i have an appointment or even that i called. she thenshows me the eyelashes (which were not individual) and i tell her that's not what i want i want the individual ones. she seemed very sorry and told me she can't do those i will have to make an appointment for a different day. she told me i can come on monday, she said i would have to come at 3 or before that. i walk in for the appointment at 3 and she's doing someone else's lashes, then does another lady's eyebrows so i had to wait until around 3:20 until she even acknowledged me and asked me what i came for, i told her i made an appointment at 3 to get extensions and she just gives me a really disappointed look and tells me she doesn't have enough time and she doesn't know why the lady would tell me to come at 3 because she has to leave to get her kids at 4. i will not be returning, they were very unorganized and unprofessional. i do not recommend going here for eyelashes. read more

I literally walked out wanting to cry. I've been a few times here and it was great. I've been growing my eyebrows out for two years and the ladies usually clean them up and leave a little as they go. The ladies here are very sweet and will make sure your eyebrows are perfect. They wear gloves and are very sanitary (unlike most eyebrow salons.). Every time you pay the front desk employee asks you for your name and phone number to make sure you get the points. And every so often when you have enough points you will get your eyebrows done for free!! read more

My daughters and I have been here a few times but I think we'll start trying different places. You walk in and all anyone says is wait over there. The last time I went I got a young girl who did my eyebrows and she spent most of her time talking to the girl at the front desk about pictures on her phone. And I read a couple of the other reviews. You get points every time you come there??? No one ever told me that. I usually wait about 8 mins for them to ring up a simple eyebrow string so no one could mention the points during that time?? Someone needs to teach them customer service. read more
