They were very prompt calling us in. We arrived 10 minutes early thinking we needed to fill tedious paperwork, and were called in 1 pm on the dot. No hefty paperwork needed. They gave my father a clean disposable gown, were nice, professional, and fast. We were in and out of the Xray area within 5 minutes. read more

The VA and Optum Serve should not be using Bayo Inc DBA Just Xrays to coordinate medical appointments! My husband has twice now had appointment through Optum Serve with their (Optum Serve's) third party vendor, Bayo Inc DBA Just X-rays. At both appointments (04/16/2024 and 04/29/2024), Bayo Inc DBA Just X-rays was closed. The first time the door was simply locked, and the second time there was a sign up stating they were closed during lunch--both during confirmed appointment times. I spoke with Gabriel (employee ID 001707292) at Optum Serve, who told me he filed an internal complaint (but did not have any complaint ID for me). I explained that it is Optum Serve's duty to vet their third-party vendors (Bayo Inc DBA Just X-rays), and Gabriel confirmed that nothing on their file showed they were closed during any lunch hour. He refused to provide his email address so I could send the photo evidence, which further proves why the VA should not work with this company. I also spoke with the owner of Bayo Inc DBA Just X-rays, who refused to provide her name (so unprofessional), made excuses stating they are a small company, have no way to file a complaint, and then hung up on me. They have 51 Yelp reviews (currently at 1.9 stars), most are 1 star with no responses, apologies, or evidence showing problems have been rectified, which tells me they have no cares about their patients and are willing to fail at their job. My husband was not the only person who couldn't get in for their confirmed appointment; there were others waiting to get in when he arrived. It's a complete lack of respect for Veterans' time, and the VA needs to set a higher standard for whom they hire. I'm filing a complaint with the VA now. read more

Service was great overall. The phone appointment was easy. And the take in was not bad. Their exam was good and efficient. They seem like a run of the mill xray service with no frills. No expect aesthetic to be nice but they get the job done. Remember to bring your id and insurance card and you should be set. They charge $10 to get a copy of your xray and $4 with credit card. read more

regarding my recent visit to Just X-Ray facility today 10/24/24 for an X-ray of my ankle requested by my primary doctor due to severe pain and swelling in my ankle. I patiently waited for my name to be called, and when it was, I had difficulty getting up from a low chair and walking slowly due to the swelling and terrible pain in my ankle all the way to my leg. Despite my obvious discomfort, the X-ray technician proceeded to twist my leg during the procedure without informing me or explaining what was about to happen. This sudden movement caused me even more pain and worsened my condition. My angry eyes reflected distress and discomfort. The x-Ray tech apologized to his behavior however to me he's apology doesn't matter, that's how much pain I injured during the procedure. read more

I came here at 2:15pm already 8 people ahead of me and 2 more behind. Sign says lunch time come back after 2pm. At 3 pm no sign of anyone at this point of time 6 more people already behind me. Many left after this I have to go to work too. Call and told me they open 8:30am came next morning it's 9:10am!! Not even open yet!! Finally came in pay $65 for the X-ray waited half an hour and when ask that rude staff say the machine broke and hv to get from Best Buy and staff be in at 10:30am!? As doubted was told 12:30pm .. at this point I already wasted half a day waiting plus yesterday hopefully I can get my X-ray done by today (finger cross) At this point another lady and her kid left same thing happen yesterday waited and left. This business was a giant pain. From initially charging us $60 (+$4 for using a credit card), when our co-pay should have been $0. Then when I called the 'questions about this bill' telephone number, the answering machine stated the number belonged to 'Century 21' (I left a message just in case). Turns out that number WAS the owner of Just X-rays, but when she called me back; she stated that she was on vacation and that she wouldn't be able to do anything about the overcharge until she was done with her 2-week vacation. I followed up many times. She said that I'd have to wait until they received the EOB. After many more follow up calls, she said claim was denied... then realized it's because they submitted the claim incorrectly. Anyway it took at least 20 communications and over 6 months to get the refund (for a charge that should have never happened)! Never again will we go to this facility. read more

I would rate 0/5 if I could. First off I had to drive through what looked like an unsafe part of town to get there. The place itself had overgrown grass and the signs were just a piece of plastic on some rotting wood posts. The building itself looks run down with gang tags on it. I was sent here twice by my medical provider. Both times I had to take time off of work to go. The first time I arrived at 9:00 am and they were closed. I did not have time to wait and left around 9:10. I never saw anyone come to open it. My provider then set me up with another appointment. When I arrived I saw a sign on the door stating that they were closed during the same hour that my appointment was set. When someone came out, the older and very rude guy who is apparently the owner, I explained that I had an appointment and he said very rudely "You don't have an appointment with us!" When I tried to explain again that my provider sent me there at this specific time he again was very rude. This place is horrible and I didn't even get inside the place. From what i've read in other reviews its even worse inside the pace. They just wasted my time.This guy deserves to go out of business. After four of the locations of another local imaging center had their x-ray techs either call out or not scheduled today, we decided to head to Just X-Rays as opposed to heading to another location of the competitor up toward Redwood City or San Mateo. From the check-in, to the authorization to the short wait despite a busy, bustling office (there were four patients ahead of us, including an infant who required being xray'd!... and more coming in after), my mom's xray experience from arriving to leaving was completed in less than 30 minutes. She has been here before, and also had similar positive experiences, where they were very efficient. Two things to know: if you pay by credit card, there is a $4/fee on top of your bill. If you also need a copy of the x-rays, there is a $10/one time fee for a USB where they save the images. If you return to their office, bring the USB again and you won't need to pay the fee. read more

They supposedly scheduled 2 appointments for my mother and never told my parents the dates. Had x-rays done on my knee, wasn't told at the time that I could take my images or had to pay for a copy of them. I called weeks later to ask for them because my dr wants to see them and was told it would be $10. I come in today and told it's $14 if I use a card. Told him I Wish I was told $10 cash/$14 for card when I called. First guy asked me for my id, set it up in the computer and gave me back the id. He then said the office staff would process payment. So as I waited I put my id back in my purse. the office manager asked for my id again and has one of her two staff members process my order on the computer again. The office manager is a little rude when reiterating the pricing. Once again I said i wish she had sad that when I called. She just turned and ignored me. Worst experience. The place smelled of smoking and piss. The technician was very rude when I asked some basic safety questions about radiation. Rather than answering my questions he got angry. Took my 89-hearing-sight-challenged father to get x-rays requested by doctor. After taking him home, receptionist calls to bring him back. Tech had taken the wrong side because my dad told him. The tech had just seen the doctor's orders. I was with my dad to help translate. My dad never said anything. Receptionist next morning left a message reminding us to come back for a redo of x-rays because it was patient's fault it had to be redone. Appointment was at 9am, doctor's appointment was at 9:30. Tech did not arrive until 9:20. I was promised by receptionist my dad would make it to his appointment. I had to cancel doctor's appointment. I would not recommend this medical office. Never ...Ever go near these money suckers !! Beware ,before you Go!! Usually i don't come to conclusion for one time experiences but for a second time i won't tolerate. For the first time when the Lady in the front office told me to " pay upfront " ( even though my insurance covers the fees) i said Okay and left . Today i took my 6yr old (who has fever and doc wanted get the Chest Xray done) so i forgot my first experience and keep an open mind and went " There you go lady! You Never Change " . I waited with my sick child for an hour and half hour to the Lady in the front desk so, t she can come and check my Insurance and all . There was this guy nice(i thought) took my info and waiting for the lady to come . After she came, she told me i've to pay $60 as a copay but my insurance told me not to pay a single penny as the facility comes under Freestanding Facility . Beforehand i called my insurance ( United Healthcare) and they give me a reference ID and a number to call in case any facility try to OVERCHARGE or something . This Lady have Audacity to tell me She won't talk to Insurance guys and Insurance should change the policies online .. Lady ! I'm just the parent of Sick Child and you are talking about the Sh*tty Insurance Policies ??? First you learn the Policies yourself as you are doing a Spectacular Job of Doing Nothing !! When you need an x-ray, its usually not a pleasant experience, maybe you are in excruciating pain, maybe you're just feeling a little under the weather, either way, you're getting an x-ray and you're not feeling 100%. I was caught without insurance for the first time in my life (switched jobs, insurance coverages left me uncovered for a month) and i broke my foot. I was in immense pain, and could hardly walk. I held off for about a week hoping the pain would die down (not knowing i had a broken foot) and just hoped it was bruised or something. After a week of continued purple foot, I went to an urgent care clinic in Saratoga, and by chance, while i was yelping that, I found this place. I called Just-Xrays first and they said I needed a doctors order in order to get an x-ray. No problem, I already found an urgent care clinic so I went there, told the doc that I needed an x-ray order and went on my way. Just-Xrays is in a small building across from regional medical and can at times get VERY busy. I would suggest calling ahead and asking one of the girls on the phone how long the wait is. Anyway, walked in and its a small place. Looks like the owner has 2 x-ray machines. One standing, and one laying. They are digital, fairly modern machines with AWESOME imaging. On my first visit I was in and out in about an hour (pretty long wait unfortunately). However, on my 2nd visit I was in and out in 15min. Why should you come here? The prices are AMAZING. You will not find a cheaper x-ray in San Jose. I paid $50 dollars for a 3-view x-ray of my foot and was given the x-ray film to bring back to the urgent care doctor. The x-ray was clear/focused as could be. I called around to quite a few places and most places wanted $200 dollars for a 3-view x-ray of my foot ON TOP of the visit (which was anywhere from 150-300 dollars). $50 vs $200...clear, digital x-rays. Took my aunt here yesterday for an automobile related accident to get some X-rays. . The X-ray tech was as rude as can be. The freaking guy asked my aunt to take off her clothes and put on her gown but how could she with him still standing there? I thought he was required to leave the room. I think we came at the wrong time because the tech was hungry. Well, it ain't our fault that he didn't get to eat! Go eat some Cheerios or something! The waiting room was so uncomfortable because they keep the a/c at the max. I felt like I was sitting in a walk in freezer. Get rid of that guy! If he is the owner, just shut it down. The way you treat people is unprofessional and uncalled for! I told the office who referred us here to never ever put any one else through the same horrible experience. Went there for a cxr (obviously :D). It took only like 5 minutes to get a X-ray which is good since I need to go somewhere else. Receptionist are friendly. The only drag was the waiting to be served. I would agree with KM B., they should put out some magazines or better yet a put up a TV so people waiting will not be bored. read more

As far as x ray facilities, this is the cheapest by far, and that's because the private owner just wants to be nice and give a fair price. I was taken aside and told about getting what I needed the lowest price. They told my doctor that I never showed up to get an x-ray. When I told the doctor that I went over 24 hours ago, the x-ray people immediately told my doctor that they found my x-ray and that nothing was wrong and refused to send him my actual x-rays. Apparently, they "aren't allowed to send doctors any x-rays". Just a written report which they clearly bullshit. Well, Xray of the arm was performed to my son last January. Bill was sent, I thought my FSA has completed it. Ladies from Just Xray bombarded our house with calls, I returned calls multiple times and left my message. Just yesterday, JustXray called again and spoke to my 10year old son. He was threatened by the JUSTXRAY lady saying "You must pay your bill now or else!" For God's sake, he is 10 years old. The lady knows he is patient because she asked his name, He was so scared and traumatized. I called the office this morning and nobody got my call but instead I left a message. Nobody returned back my call. Just on my lunchbreak today, I called to settle my stupid $69.25 balance (that traumatized my son bigtime!). I talked to a certain Jocelyn (who doesnt want to tell me her last name) asking for the Manager's name which is Rochelle which was not around according to Jocelyn. i asked if there's anyone else next in line to Rochele, but she refused to answer. I talked to Jocelyn about how my son was treated on the phone. You know what her response is? She said that why should my son answer the phone? A simple APOLOGY is what I'm waiting for but NO... I'm so sorry for these people. They are so unethical and disrespectful. They are NOT supposed to be on their posts or on the type of job they are in now. Just for the record, when collecting, you should talk to the person or even leave a message to any ADULT BUT NOT TO KIDS who don't know and supposed to know what adult matters are! JUST XRAY, YOU HAVE TO TRAIN YOUR STAFF ABOUT GOOD PATIENT CARE, PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROPER RESPECT! The kinds of staff you have may pull your business down. I might as well drive any distant place to receive a very good service and treatment rather than walk-in to a closer radiologic clinic but treated unacceptably.
