This place is a joke!!! I had a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound done on Tuesday Feb 2nd. They said that they would email me the results within 2 - 4 days. I called them on Thursday and Friday asking for the results. Then I finally get to speak to a human being and they say that the email will really tell me nothing and that I need to meet with my doctor. They also stated that they have sent the images to my doctor. So then call my doctor only to find out that they HAVE NOT SENT THEM. If you can possibly avoid going to this awful place. Today, I brought my elderly mother to Silver Creek Radiology for a mammogram. What should have been a routine medical appointment turned into an upsetting and unforgettable experience. When we arrived, a Vietnamese nurse came to escort my mother in and asked for her date of birth. From the beginning, her attitude was harsh and unkind. She spoke to both me and my mother in a rude, almost scolding tone, which made the situation unnecessarily stressful. There was a clear lack of empathy and professionalism in the way she communicated.Inside the room, the technician in charge of the mammogram was equally unpleasant. My mother, being older and having some physical limitations, found it difficult to follow certain positioning instructions during the procedure. Instead of being patient and supportive, the technician appeared irritated and raised her voice. This made my mother feel even more nervous and uncomfortable. As a caregiver and a daughter, it was deeply painful to witness my mother who was already anxious about the procedure being treated with so little compassion. Medical visits can be intimidating for elderly patients, and healthcare professionals should be trained to handle such situations with care, respect, and patience.I fully understand that hospital staff are often under pressure and have demanding schedules, but that should never be an excuse for mistreating patients, especially vulnerable ones. My mother deserved to be treated with dignity. Instead, she left feeling embarrassed and hurt.I am sharing this not out of anger, but out of a genuine hope that no other patients or families will have to go through a similar experience. I took my grandmother to get her test done here and was her translator. The employees at the front desk were fine and helped us with getting checked in. However once we were spoken to by the nurse and the lady who took my grandmother's X-rays, the experience was terrible. I understand that you have a lot of patients and need to get to everybody but there's no need to have attitude or to scold someone. Once we went into the X-ray room, my grandmother was already uncomfortable and vulnerable as this is an invasive X-ray. The nurse in there was so rough with her and so rude. She didn't try to walk my grandmother through the procedure but rather grab her forcefully and scoff at her. You need to work better on patient care. Let me just say it is a struggle to make an appointment here. I have been calling since February 1st to make an appointment. I have left messages every few days and no call back. I also came it to help my mom make an appointment and you have the option to put your name on a list and wait for them to call you while you sit and wait or you can provide your referral form with insurance and ID and they will call you 2-3 business days. Well I gave them all that since I did not want to wait and guess what? No call. I came in again today and chose to wait this time. Literally today was my appointment they called me to canceled due to their machine broke down and wanted to reschedule me Jan 2025! How is that accommodating?! So unprofessional. They also messed up my appointment time. I've been having great experience with SCR in the last month with multiple phone calls. However, today was my worst experience with them due to a mistake compounded by a poor attitude and a lack of ownership. Originally, my mom had 3 appointments with them. Later, I realized that one of the tests had already been done, so I canceled that appointment a couple of weeks ago, leaving us with two appointments. Yesterday morning, the staff called to remind me about this morning's appointment and provided instructions to arrive 30 minutes early. I also confirmed with her that the appointment on the 22nd was cancelled, and she agreed. Everything seemed fine until this morning. We arrived 40 minutes early to fill out the paperwork, but the staff member who checked us in said my mom's appointment had been canceled in their system yesterday. I told them that was impossible because I had received a reminder call just the day before. She then mentioned that there was a note indicating I had called in to cancel the appointment. I showed them my call history, which only showed one call from them. It seemed the staff had made a mistake with a different client. However, the manager displayed a poor attitude, suggesting another appointment later in the afternoon without apologizing or trying to find out what led to the miscommunications, or addressing how to prevent such errors in the future. I admit that at certain moments, I raised my voice due to their mistake and the inconvenience of having to come back in the afternoon, as I had important meetings scheduled. Overall, Melinda--the staff member who checked us in--handled the situation much better than the manager, Lori/Laura. This is a customer service establishment, and the manager's inability to handle the situation well indicates she is not competent for the job. When we returned in the afternoon, having rescheduled several meetings and accepting the inconvenience of missing some, the staff informed us that they had discovered what had happened. They were able to identify who had placed the note, despite initially claiming it would be difficult. According to them, my mom had called to cancel the appointment. This explanation is simply not possible. Earlier in the morning, I was informed that the note indicated the daughter had called to cancel the appointment, which I disproved with my call logs. I also explained that I handle all of my mom's paperwork and scheduling, and she doesn't even know the name, location, or phone number of this place, making it impossible for her to call and cancel and this is our first time at this place. Additionally, I checked my mom's phone records, which showed no call to their office. I wish the team would take ownership of their mistake instead of blaming the patient. read more

I brought my elderly mother to this clinic for an abdominal ultrasound. While the front desk staff were polite and helpful during check-in, our experience with the ultrasound technician (a Vietnamese woman) was extremely disappointing and upsetting. My mother has heart disease, early-stage dementia, and recently had an ICD pacemaker implanted. I explained all of this to the technician before the procedure. Despite that, she was visibly impatient and spoke to my mother in a loud, commanding tone. As soon as we entered the hallway, she loudly told my mother to "go in this room" and "take off your outer clothing," repeating it quickly and firmly--without checking if my mother needed help or understood what to do. My mom, being elderly and slow due to recent surgery, was clearly startled and stressed by the rush. When my mother needed to use the restroom before the scan, the technician acted annoyed and questioned why we didn't use the closer restroom--even though that door was locked at the time. No empathy, no patience. Inside the room, she gave unclear instructions. For example, when she said "take off your outer clothing," I wasn't sure if she meant just the jacket or also the shirt underneath. I asked her politely to clarify, but she didn't answer--she just stood there and left us to figure it out on our own. That kind of attitude made the experience even more stressful and uncomfortable for my mother. She then told my mom to lie down and kept repeating "scoot over" or "move more to this side," again with no offer to assist--even though I had told her my mother couldn't lift her left arm. She spoke as if she were giving orders, not helping a patient. I gently asked her if she could speak more kindly, and she replied that her voice had to be loud so my mother could hear, and she needed to be fast because there were many patients waiting. Throughout the scan, anytime my mother twitched or made a sound due to discomfort (she's very sensitive to touch and movement), the technician would immediately ask if she wanted to stop. She asked that at least five times, which felt more like she was hoping we would quit than actually checking in with concern. I kept explaining that my mother is sensitive but willing to continue if we take it slow--yet the technician didn't seem to care. Instead of offering reassurance and helping the patient complete the procedure, she placed the burden of decision-making on someone who was clearly not in the right state of mind to make that call. This behavior seemed irresponsible and possibly intentional -- as if to avoid accountability by making it look like the patient chose to stop the process herself. When the scan ended, she didn't assist my mother in cleaning off the gel or getting dressed. She stood aside while my elderly mother did it all on her own. Still, my mom thanked her politely. The technician simply responded with a cold expression and no warmth. Looking back, I regret not requesting a different technician. If you ever feel uncomfortable with how a healthcare worker is treating your loved one, especially someone vulnerable like an elderly patient, it's okay to speak up and ask for someone else. Respect and compassion should never be optional in a healthcare setting. In sharp contrast, later that same day, we went to Stanford Hospital for an X-ray on my mother's shoulder. The technician there--a kind and gentle American woman--was incredibly thoughtful. She guided my mom with patience, gently moved the chair for her instead of making her stand up, and gave clear, respectful instructions at every step. After the scan, she even knelt beside my mother, held her hand, and thanked her for cooperating, acknowledging how difficult it must have been. She told me she'd send the results quickly to the doctor and encouraged my mother warmly. It was a simple gesture, but it showed deep human care. This contrast left a lasting impression. Compassion, patience, and clear communication aren't just "extras" in healthcare--they're essential, especially for elderly and disabled patients. If your elderly parent needs imaging at this clinic, I strongly recommend going with them--like a guardian or advocate--to observe the process and help them feel safe. I hope the clinic takes serious steps to train staff to treat patients with dignity and respect. No one deserves to feel rushed, confused, or unwelcome--especially not our aging loved ones. read more

What a mess. Receptionists are snobby and don't care if you've been standing on an X waiting for help, they just let whomever comes after you walk straight to them. Nothing was enforced. A large lobby filled with people, some even unmasked and coughing. I was already annoyed and grossed out by this point so when one of the girl behind the counter yelled out "next" I just sped up to her to be helped. Only to be told I had to wait 5 hours before they could take some X-rays!!! I'm not one to cause a scene, but when you're in pain. That's not the type of treatment you want happening. I just left quietly with flames burning from my eyes. Had the front desk been more organized, had any compassion, and pointed out that I came first to people who cut in front of me, I wouldn't have mind waiting that 5 hours. I feel like this is one of those places that'll continue to make money even with all the bad reviews they're getting because a lot of people don't have other options, they have to go to where they're being referred. Located in the same building as urgent care in between the bus terminal and Bank of America in Eastridge, this place can be easily spotted driving down Capitol Expressway. I had thought I fractured a bone after feeling so much pain and experienced swelling. I was referred to this place by my chiropractor because I needed to get an x-ray of my hand quick. Luckily I was able to just walk-in and do a quick x-ray. The radiologist working was very efficient and friendly. We had a great conversation as she was posturing my hand on the platform. She explained to me the x-ray images after she took them. Turned out I had a fractured bone. Would definitely come here again because it's fast and workers are quick to respond. read more

Received horrible customer service from one of their Vietnamese front office staff. We made an appointment for my mother at 2:45pm and was told to arrive at 2:30pm. Even the reminder call was for 2:45pm. My mother came at 2:30pm and was told her appointment was actually 3pm. We didn't mind the extra 15 mins, but wanted to make it clear that her appointment is at 2:45. The front desk girl was already annoyed at her. We ended up waiting for almost an hour, where we would see people come and go like flies. We brought it to her attention but only received rude glares in return. My bf came here with insurance PPO, they failed to claim the insurance, and they failed to inform my bf that they failed to claim the insurance. Silver Creek Radiology did not call my bf, did not send mails, they sent him to the collection. We tried to reach the Silver Creek Radiology to resolve the issue. They kept us waiting and not really working. They did not tell the reason why insurance did not pay, they said the billing people making mistake and will get back to us, again nobody called back for several months. Unbelievable. I went in on Monday to get X-rays in the San Jose Silver Creek Radiology office. I needed these x-rays for a doctor's appointment the next day in Walnut Creek. Before I left Silver Creek Radiology I asked them, what do I need? I asked do I need a disc? They said no that they would send everything to the doctor. The next day when I get to the doctor's office. they have nothing from the radiologist. I called Silver Creek radiology and ask them what went wrong. They said they could send me a report. I didn't need to report, I needed the x-ray images. I ended up having to pay for x-ray images at my doctor's office out of pocket because Silver Creek Radiology completely let me down. read more

Unfortunately this place is really unprofessional. I've had stomach pain for months, so my doctor recommended I get an abdominal ultrasound. Every time I called this place, I was immediately put on an automated hold system, then a live person would pick up minutes later and ask me to hold - back to automated system - then finally I'd get to talk to some one. Ok, maybe that's pretty standard for a medical office. Scheduled my appointment a week ago. Yesterday they called me and left a message to remind me of my appointment. They also said something along the lines of, "by the way, it will be $135, please call if you need to cancel." I called my insurance because my specialist fee is supposed to be $70. UHC, which is terrible in its own right, said the $135 was probably correct, but they couldn't tell me until they saw what the place was billing for. Fine. I have no choice, I have to have this exam. It's stressing me out not knowing what is causing the pain. I was scheduled for 9am this morning. I got a call at 8am today: They left a message canceling my appointment due to a tech's family emergency. They asked me to call back to reschedule for a different day. I called, got put on the automated hold system for 30 mins, then a live person asked me to hold, then asked my name, and why I was calling. I said some one called me to cancel, she asked who, I said I didn't know. She put me on hold again to "figure out why we canceled". Then she picked up, again, and called me by the wrong patient's FULL name. I corrected her and she laughed a little, and I could hear some one else laughing in the back too. Um... didn't you just technically commit a HIPAA violation? I explained that I took off work for this, and she said there's nothing to be done. She went to ask another technician if she could work during her lunch to get me in, which I don't feel great about either. The tech said she legally can't do that which I understand. They tried to schedule me for next Tuesday morning. I said I can't, now I can only do afternoons because I don't want to miss work. She said they do have Saturday appointments! That piqued my interest, but... they don't have anything until May 4. That's more than a week and a half. I gave up, said I'd call my doctor to ask for a new referral. I called my doctor too and explained the situation. They referred me to a different place. I doubt they'll be able to get me in sooner than next Tuesday, but I am just so offput and disappointed in my experience at SCR. :( I didn't feel like I was taken seriously. I'm guessing a lot of your patients are in pain and have major concerns... I wish you had more staff, or something. That's the only suggestion I think I can make. read more

First, the receptionist was rude and second, they never sent the results of the exams to my family doctor. Initially, they sent my results to the wrong doctor and when they said they would resend it to the correct doctor, the doctor said he never received anything. I was told I would receive a copy of the results in the mail, but I never did. The clinic is nice but the front desk workers I talked to were not nice. I don't recommend this place because after the X-ray you won't get your results until you go there to pick it up yourself. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

The representative I spoke on the phone was extremely efficient and courteous. They facility was clean and the car parking was easy. I did not need to wait at all when I reached their facility for the x-ray. They sent the x-ray result to my doctor's office the very same day. If I could leave this place with 0 stars I would. They checked our insurance before getting some scans done and told us that insurance would cover everything. After the scans were done, we for some reason got a letter in the mail from collections??? We didn't even get an initial bill from them. After calling them they acknowledged it was a mistake and cancelled the bill in collections, however a month later we got another bill from them for the same scans. Insurance told us that the medical provider had incorrectly filed the claim, so I called the radiology center and asked them to refile them correctly. Nonetheless, we kept getting harassed by them to pay the bill, and after calling again recently the lady at the billing center is backtracking and saying that whoever told us insurance would cover everything was misleading us???? Shady practice if you ask me. Don't go here unless you're looking to get scammed and lied to. read more
