There is a visible difference in atmosphere compared to Dallas County Courts. Lots of parking outside and security is efficient and it doesn't take too long to get through.

After she gave me my options my dad wanted to pull me to the side to give me advice since I am not familiar with court proceedings. She said fine but I am putting you to the back of the line. We spoke for one minute and because of that she decided to be petty and make me wait for everyone in the court to talk to her before calling me up to put in my plea. It was a complete power trip on her part and although she probably has a miserable life she doesn't need to bring that energy into court. I don't think it is right to have a person of such low manner be in a position like this. Everyone else was very nice but she ruined the entire experience.

You can't rely on them for legal advice, or for accurately passing on information about what you're supposed to do in the event you should find yourself needing to know what you're supposed to do, but they smile, and they're not mean. Not like some municipal court employees, who are mean, and don't smile, and act like it's all they can do not to call a judge and ask him to hold you in contempt. Stay away if you can.

The landscaping is well taken care of but inside does not smell so fresh. The steps are steep and intimidating. I don't like heights. The Security Officers were very nice and helpful. The Gentleman explained to be where I needed to go. He was also friendly when I asked him questions. There's a small Museum to the left. It was pretty busy. I saw a kid doing a book report for class, along with a few other visitors. I ran into a Police Officer and he told me where to go too. The ladies in the office went the extra mile to help. Parking was near by. You just scan and pay. I saw two Brides getting their Bridal Portraits. It was such a nice moment. The fourth floor has a colorful Rotunda that many people enjoy seeing. This is definitely a unique Courthouse with lots of pictures inside. I would definitely recommend this courthouse.

We were told that an appointment was necessary even though that is not posted on the website. There were no other people in the office and the person there did not want to put out any effort to help. We ended up going to the Hurst office and called before we went up. They were courteous and extremely helpful and nice to our kids. We got it done there, I don't think I'll ever visit the Southlake office again if I can help it, even though Southlake is closer.

This woman is unnecessarily confrontational, and has the nerve to call security once she finishes shouting over people, who are simply trying to complete an arduous process, in order to get their passports and travel. It's people like her that give government workers a bad name. Her behavior with my family has traumatized my children, and impacted our family vacation. The security guard commenced to staring my 11 and 5 year old daughter's down, while the other courteous clerk validated our paperwork before Robin told us to return on the next business day, since she would not issue a stamp on our passport form until then- wasting everyone's time. I later learned from the national travel center that this arbitrary deadline was incorrect. Needless to say, we were an African American family, which I guess explains why a simple transaction turned out this way, with this woman creating obstacles and attempting to provoke a problem with a family simply trying to complete paperwork ...I would go to another location if you are expediting your application, and want to avoid a high blood pressure situation.
