On Feb 12, 2026 I was hit in my car by a hit and run driver. I had to follow the driver to their…read morehouse because the driver zoomed off and didn't stop. Once at the driver's house, I confronted the driver and alerted her that she hit my car. The driver stated that she didn't hit my car, so the police were called. I was told by the 911 dispatcher to stay in my car and don't approach. When the police got on the scene, they scolded me for following the driver and said that the driver could have "shot me." They didn't give the driver a sobriety test, didn't arrest her for the hit and run because she said she said she didn't hit the back of my car with the front of her car although the police saw the damage on both our cars. The police asked me how much damage I thought had occurred, and I thought maybe $500, and they in turned stated that they didn't need to write a report because the damage was under $2,000. The damage turned out to be over $2,000. I thought the police could have done their job better by checking out the driver and by doing whatever is supposed to happen when a driver flees the scene of the accident, and the police (three cars showed up) should have written a report. Isn't that their job?

I was being extorted by two men for hours because my tire was flat and they were changing the tire…read more Im a 20yo woman, I'm in a situation at 3AM with two men trying to get money out of me. It was called a 'civil matter' by the woman on the phone, and I got a call hours later from a police who dismissed the situation and said that their price was normal, I made my own effort to settle the situation and made a fair price because I informed them that threatening to tow me was illegal. By calling it a "civil matter," you guys give them permission to keep doing what they're doing. As long as they're 'fixing a tire' they can harass, intimidate, and extort a young woman without any legal consequences. "Protect and serve" doesnt seem to exist.

Tried to report a serious crime, involving a missing child. Officer Gregory Wells, and some other…read moreguy just introduced as "the investigator " said I definitely had a case...especially after we showed them the laws (that they should of been educated on) that coincidence with my situation...that require the police to file a missing children's report. Clearly they do not care about there duty to the public much less the oath they took, because they violationed both. They quickly shoved us off to the McKinney PD though, were that officer flat out knew it was a felony. I have had several enteractions with the Parker PD due to my ex living there and not abiding by orders, and they could give a flip about anyone. The only thing that gets these guys off on is giving tickets!!

Outrageous speed trap! They expect ridiculous speeds on large country roads, have sudden speed…read morechanges. Not good for out of towners or locals trying to get to work in a hurry. Ticket prices start high and charge over $200 even if ticket is dismissed. Have a payment plan option tells you that they're used to praying on the weak, but tack on $25 for that one. Drive a nice fleet of expensive SUVs. Give you a mere 10 days before your court deadline, that's one week and some change, not enough to tie up loose ends at work. Of course tack on a 2.5% convenience fee for using a credit card, everyone's doing it! Thinking about doing a driver safety course? Think again $145 at the lowest for state and municipal, TX dept. public safety and course fee. But don't blink because you only get those 10 days to notify the court of your choice.

Chris Sorenson (ID #101204) - a real-life hero…read more I was stranded on the side of the highway, alone, my driver side tire unexpectedly blew out. I was with my dog, waiting on my company's roadside assistance and feeling pretty vulnerable. Chris Sorenson stopped, immediately reassured me, and promised he wouldn't leave until I was taken care of and he kept that promise. His calm, professionalism, and genuine kindness turned a scary situation into one where I felt safe and supported. He handled everything efficiently and with care, but more importantly, he showed up as a human when it mattered most. Five stars doesn't feel like enough. Thank you, Chris ...truly.

I was charged $129.45 in tolls for under 20 minutes of driving…read more This is not an opinion - this is based on actual billing records with timestamps, and I'm attaching a redacted copy of my statement to prove it. Here are the facts: Chisholm Trail Parkway - about 7 minutes of driving - $2.80 Completely reasonable and what any driver would expect. On Tarrant Pkwy / North Tarrant Express: Outbound trip - less than 7 minutes - $51 Return trip - after exiting Chisholm Trail Parkway, I was on local roads for roughly 5 minutes, then entered Tarrant Pkwy / North Tarrant Express again: About 11 minutes of travel - $78.45 Total on Tarrant Pkwy / North Tarrant Express: $129.45 When you look at the timestamps on the statement, these are not single tolls. They are multiple charges stacking up within minutes of each other, creating a total cost that is completely disproportionate to the time spent on the road. This is directly supported by the billing data. Final comparison: About 7 minutes on Chisholm Trail Parkway - $2.80 About 18 minutes total on Tarrant Pkwy / North Tarrant Express - $129.45 Same area. Same day. Within minutes of each other. There is no reasonable way for a driver to anticipate that one toll road would cost a few dollars, while another would cost over $100 for a similar duration of travel. If you're driving in this area: Do not assume toll roads are priced similarly Be extremely cautious using Tarrant Pkwy / North Tarrant Express Check your statements carefully No one expects triple-digit toll charges for short trips. In my opinion, drivers deserve far more transparency so they can make informed decisions before entering the road.
