What a beautiful store…read more The brick and mortar is stunning. There is a large staircase inside, beautiful molding, stone, wood and so much more? On the lower level is the wedding area. I never went down there but, from the windows everything looked beautiful. So many dresses. There is a pretty good clearance section upstairs. The store does have a staircase and elevators. There is a section upstairs for employees... lets call is the employee lounge/workroom. Anthro products are stunning. I love their dresses and cardigans. I love that they have a plus size selection. Their aesthetic really delivers. They have items for the home, accessories, jewelry, clothing, shoes, candles, housewares and much more. I had encountered a few staff members and they were great, even in passing when we were in the elevator. Now Anthro can be pricey, but I can see why. There are times I cringe at a price for a dress of a candle. But, I just tell myself it is not meant to be.

Let me start off by saying I love Anthropologie so whenever I am in a city with a store I gravitate…read moretowards that front door and go in. This is the flagship store in Philly and the outside is beautiful. I have wanted to go for a while but given a triple fractured ankle and a non handicapped entrance I have used a visit as a rehab goal. I finally was able to make it up the stairs and it is a truly a beautiful store with several floors of items. Loved looking at all the pretty things and managed to leave with a couple of items. If you are an architectural buff I would stop in just to look at the building and rooms. Though for me it was some retail therapy and appreciating the old architecture of days gone by.

This place is not closed…read more Kiki must have a personality disorder. I have shopped there several times and she acts as if she does not want you there. You are not allowed to touch clothes and if you do not like the things she has pulled for you, she seems upset. She also will dump her personal drama on you. While some of the clothing is unique, there are no tags on anything including prices. Sort of shady, and to be honest, I wonder if some of the stuff is used. She also is rarely there when the hours of the store say she will be. I once found the assistant asleep in the corner on the floor. Kiki was totally unaware she was there. If you are feeling like you have thick skin and want to fight the person you are buying from, it's worth going in there a few times. If you want to feel good about spending hundreds/thousands, you'll go elsewhere.

This store is beautiful. Not only are there many seemingly one of a kind pieces in the store (as…read moreshe only stocks a few of each thing), but Kiki also designed the store itself - including an incredibly beautiful use of a real tree. It's worth going in for that itself. You can tell she puts a lot of thought into every piece that goes in the store, whether its wallpaper for the walls, a curtain for the dressing rooms, or a piece of clothing or jewelry that she is selling. She also really takes the time to help you find the things that work for you, your body, and your style. Though I do feel it necessary to note that this is definitely not a cheap store, it is definitely a beautiful boutique that you should absolutely get to know and love.
