When I first discovered Justin Epstein Masonry, Justin was active with projects all over town. Clearly, he was a mason in demand. I checked out his work and pictures of his projects on justinepsteinmasonry.com. And, that's where I read about his credentials - he's fully insured and has over 10 years of professional experience. So, I called him, and Justin responded quickly to meet with me and go over the details. I had a large, five-step stairway with a landing made of concrete blocks and I wanted it demolished and rebuilt with stone. I wanted granite, and even while our country was facing nationwide shortages, Justin was able to provide the exact stones we discussed. He even took the time to track down additional historic granite stones to add more character to the stairway - more than I thought was possible. His crew's craftsmanship is exceptional. We hired Justin and his team to restore two 111 year old chimneys that were leaking water onto top floor ceilings. I didn't want a brand new looking chimney on an antique house, but one that looked like it was part of the original structure. They did an amazing job of replacing broken bricks and removing old mortar with replaced and perfectly matched 1909 colored mortar. The men were professional, courteous, hard-working and even cleaned the site when they were finished.
