I have been coming to Medical Aesthetics of Menlo Park for years. I first came for laser hair…read moreremoval which I highly recommend - it's very effective and painless. Why did I ever wax?? A few years ago I added Botox. Dr G was my first experience with Botox and she's wonderful. In the beginning she listened closely to what I wanted (to remove the ever deepening line between my eye brows) and she explained that to get a natural look involves considering how all the muscles move together. She tried different injection locations, asked how I liked it at my next visit, and adjusted based on my feedback. Now, when I come in she ensures I want the same constellation of injections and works off her recorded "map" of my face. Dr G is very good at Botox! The results are wonderful and she always reminds me of how to care for it (for example, no exercise that raises my heart beat for 24 hours). Dr G is also wonderful with patients. She's friendly, calm, patient, professional and very gentle with the injections. There's been no bruising. Her goal is to ensure you're satisfied and happy. So grateful for the wonderful service at Medical Aesthetics. It's always clean, safe, and I get amazing results! Cannot recommend enough!!

Dr G is absolutely fantastic. She took years off my appearance in just two sessions. Her technique…read moreis so much less painful than other medical aesthetic providers I have seen in the past. Zero post injection bruising. Incredible results that look so natural. She is truly an artist and I am beyond impressed.

I do not normally share negative reviews but I feel I must write about my experience with Dr Wong…read moreand US Digestive Health so that hopefully someone else can avoid my situation. Dr. Wong performed two upper endoscopies on me this year, and I should have known something was amiss when she came to speak to me after my first procedure while I was still waking up from anesthesia - so I literally do not remember anything she said. When I fully awoke, I asked the nurse when she would be speaking to me, and I was just told "she already did" and not given any further information. Months later, I received a letter from Dr Wong explaining my diagnosis and that I would need to be on a lifelong medication to manage symptoms, which my second endoscopy later confirmed. After two months, my prescription ran out and I requested a refill from my pharmacy, which I thought would be a simple request since Dr Wong stated in writing that this is a lifelong medication for me. Dr Wong and her office made no reply to multiple requests from my pharmacy for a refill, or to me calling her office multiple times. Days passed and I ran out of my medication. In the end, a week passed where I had no access to my medication, and the symptoms of my condition returned when I had previously been in remission. It took me 8 days of repeatedly calling the office and my pharmacy, and finally when I threatened to report them for negligence and my husband called, they quietly filled my prescription and did not even have the decency to call me - they only communicated to my husband that it was filled. I still have received no communication from Dr. Wong or her team about this, and her negligence to fill a simple prescription has had negative effects on my physical and mental health, including the very condition she is supposedly treating me for. The lack of communication and respect for patients is inexcusable. I am also appalled that the team only responded to my husband in the year 2024, despite the fact that I (a woman) am the actual patient in need of care. If you are in need of care for a GI issue - especially if you are a woman - do yourself a favor and avoid this practice.

In 2022 Patricia dismissed my unknown skin issue as simply acne and $400 dollars later I was sent…read moreon my way with a pamphlet and advice to "eat less sugar" among other things. The issues persisted, so on a return visit I asked to try a new cream I had researched. She did not entertain my theory, but prescribed it anyway to shut me up, I assume. The cream caused a very scary looking rash -- what I now know was the die-off period for treating demodicosis, and upon seeing this at our third visit, Patricia flipped out (perhaps thinking I'd hold her liable legally as others have mentioned having to do in reviews online after they were burned by her). It was such a bad experience, for a time I gave up on resolving the issue. It was only summer 2024 that I made another attempt, when I finally was correctly diagnosed with demodicosis, and prescribed the VERY SAME CREAM I had begged Patricia for 2 years prior. I was completely cleared up in 2 weeks. While I don't fault Patricia for not knowing every novel skin condition, I do fault her for her false confidence and her unwelcoming persona. Patricia was moderately unfriendly, and it really felt like she wasn't on my team, but was my boss.
