Because the school is fairly small, the teachers are able to give attention to each students needs while maintaining an orderly classroom. The teachers enthusiasm and love for the students is evidenced in and out of the classroom. It is not just about education though. It is also about building the character of the students through godly instruction, consistent modeling of thoughtful behaviors and use of kind words. The administration has worked hard to build the school into the kind of place kids want to attend and that parents are happy to support. The administrative staff is stellar as well! The tuition is competitive and there are not nearly as many "hidden costs" as other area schools. My children have had a wonderful school experience going to Grace Academy!

I don't prefer tracks this soft but its free, its well kept and its free. The grass on the field is also very well kept and after school there are kids practicing lacrosse here. The grass is so well kept I was able to do some barefoot running training here after some interval workouts. No shade. And you'll get some red powder stuck to the bottom of your shoes for a short while after running on these kinds of tracks, so if you really really don't want that, I wouldn't wear them here.

My son has a yearbook so I'm gonna ask him to go through and tell me every kid that was involved. Crumbling speed bumps in the parking lot are brutal: I heard a loud thunk under my car as if I hit a metal ballast despite going very slowly- so they lose a star. They have the texts but it's not 1/6 pages completed. Didn't teach social studies as per the California state standards. Left out all of the colonization of America on both coasts. No bear flag no Spanish no missions no diversity in teachings aside from one small section about Cesar Chavez in 4th. No constitution. Horrible program. Failed artful learning potential in a big way. No inclusion of the special needs classes who are tucked away out of site. Despite this the special need teachers are amazing at compensating for the lack of care of the school. They are the shining stars of this wretched school. Just you wait- this school and the district will follow this review with manufactured ones to save face. This school is just fantastic. True gem in the town of Napa. The school district has been on an…read moreoverall decline for a little bit of time now. As there have been less kids coming into the town, there has been less money going into the schools and more consolidation and less focus on learning and creativity but this school really gets it. The teachers and the principal are all fantastic, the kids are well-behaved and eager and intelligent and bright and encouraged to speak up for themselves, and the parents are working class, as opposed to a bunch of hovering helicopter Karen's that will drive you crazy. My kid couldn't be happier going there, they do poetry and art to go along with her academics and the kids are actually nice to each other. I will unfortunately have to agree w Billie b. by saying my daughter didn't enjoy ms proffits lessons. She stated multiple times that her lessons made no sense and the work taught her nothing. She also stated socializing w peers wasn't allowed much and she felt really isolated thanks to mr proffits rules.
