While the experience overall was good, the service was below average for the price point. We were unable to get a king bed instead of two doubles, despite what our reservation said and despite the fact that there were kings available. After we checked in, we asked to switch to another room because of noise and were told we would have to wait until the next day. Likewise, bar service in the lounge was spotty. We had a terrific server one evening and the next I had to hunt down the server every time we wanted something (she was standing in the back talking with a coworker). The food service in the convention dining room was great, but when I asked the bellman about a taxi in the morning (my hands full with luggage), he just told me there were taxis outside and never lifted a finger to help with my bags or actually go out and get me a car. Again, for the price point we expected a lot more. read more

Cons: - $15 for a continental breakfast. The same breakfast that even lower-rated hotels offer their guests for free. With the room running $700 a night, you'd think a bowl of cereal and some coffee would be included. - No DVD/BluRay players in rooms. During downtime, you're pretty much limited to the dozen C-movies they have on hand. - Low-Quality toilet paper. I know its a tiny thing to complain about but it was definitely noticiible. - The worst part of our stay here was the fact that they bumped our 4-adult group from a 2-queen room, to a single-king. A discount was not received because they consider a single king to be equivalent to a double-queen. Additionally, due to fire code, we were not able to obtain a second rolling twin bed. This mean one member in our group has to spend the night SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR. read more

While I was in Indy for work I stayed here. Overall the hotel was nice, easy to get to and from the airport. The location was great for the convention center and a little walk to the mall/downtown. The hotel itself had two restaurants on the main floor which was nice as you always felt like there was something happening. On the second floor there was a nice looking gym and a starbucks. The staff was always friendly and eager to assist. The room itself was very nice and spacious. I had a king size room on the 22nd floor. The view was pretty however you could hear a lot of street noise on the 22nd floor. The shower was one of those three head showers you could opt in to use if you wanted. One thing that I've been running into is the cleaning staff and the inconsistency. Some days the staff would come early and other days they would be much later. Some days they would double up on my lotion/shampoo/etc. Other days they wouldn't replenish my tea or water. Overall this is a nice Marriott and I would be happy to stay there again. read more

Let me summarize why this was such an incredible stay for a family wedding weekend: -For a large hotel, it was still very personal and comfortable - warm colors and comfortable lobby, bar seating. -the BEST FITNESS center around. Had everything - no excuse not to work out. I actually had the fitness center to myself on Saturday too! Since i went to Amelia's and ate a very large chocolate chip cookie, I felt compelled to work out. -room with a view. We were on the 32nd floor and had a view of the park - just beautiful. -Concierge level: plenty of food and beverage. Sometimes you think people must be eating their last meal when you see how high they pile their plates...regardless, the staff there was very personable and helpful - large room. Sunday morning was the busiest morning but they still had plenty of food for everyone. -forgot your toothpaste? They came to the rescue. Not one of those mini-versions of toothpaste some hotels give out but an actual sample size. I forgot mine and they saved me as there wasn't a CVS or Walgreens anywhere close. -very comfortable beds and very clean rooms - nice amenities - thank you for the mouthwash! -Excellent location - walked everywhere - and if you're there for a Colts game, it is THE perfect place to stay. The Colts beat the Bills while we were there so the fans were very happy. -High Velocity sports Bar. Just go and have a drink and some great food - they do a fantastic job. What a treat to stay here. We took Uber from the airport since we had a 6 am return flight to DC and didn't want to deal with the hassle of a car, gas or parking. When we return to Indy, we will most certainly choose the JW Marriott. read more

This is the first time I've stayed at a Marriott and been disappointed. We came to Indianapolis to take our 5 and 7 year old to the Children's Museum (which was awesome). We chose to stay here because it was the closest Marriott and we always choose them if possible. I realized this is a convention facility, but when I think conventions, I guess it typically think of businesses or at least adults. However, there is a cheerleading convention here right now. My girls were really excited about swimming in the pool. They are both still learning and hotels and vacations are really their only opportunity. I assumed the pool would be crowded given the multitude of cheerleaders. However (a) this was the smallest pool I think I've seen at a hotel and (b) kids are running amok in there and no one cares. The whole time we were there, which was not long, about 15-20 kids ranging in ages from probably 7-13 were running full speed, doing cannonballs, and probably worst of all doing what I guess you would call basket tosses and other types of tosses where they spin/throw the girls around the pool off their shoulders. Several times they almost landed on my two small children and us. The rest of the time they landed so close to us it was like a tidal wave to the face. Then they would run full speed between the hot tub (which is supposed to be off limits to kids) and the pool screaming bloody murder about the temperature change and soaking our stuff in the process. I tried talking to one of the "cheer moms" but she ignored me and encouraged the kids to continue so she could videotape them. This is not the hotel's fault. Where I fault them is for (a) not giving the parents clear expectations about acceptable behavior (b) not monitoring the pool when they have a convention full of children and (c) not doing anything about it when they saw it with their own eyes. I didn't even bother trying to call the hotel from the pool because an employee was in there at least 3 times and all he did was make sure the cheer people had enough towels and completely ignored their behavior. I did call when I got back to the room but the lady that took my call seemed pretty disinterested and just said she'd notify security. At this point our evening is already ruined and because some of the cheer moms were making snotty and hostile comments because we didn't want their children landing on us, I really don't even feel comfortable heading down to the lobby to try to go get dinner. read more

Pros: Room was great and the view was awesome from the 30th floor. Staff was very helpful and happy. We were able to walk to the park, museums and the zoo. Cons: For the amount that it cost per night, the additional costs were ridiculous. $15 for wi-fi in the hotel, breakfast was either room service ($40 for two, while order myself a kids breakfast) or the expensive Italian restaurant, parking was $30/day, and every other hotel I stay at can at least offer free coffee in the lobby. Next time I will pay much less and stay at the adjoining SpringHill or Fairfield Suites (Free wifi, coffee, and breakfast). Overall: Great hotel and staff but I hate being "nickel and dimed." I would rather just pay more than be bombarded with extra charges for things less expensive hotels next door provide for free. read more

The 3rd weekend in June, I had the pleasure of staying at the JWMarriott. I generally like all Of the Marriott Brand, but the JW is the standout of the company. The building in downtown Indy is a sure standout out. It's striking blue grey hue makes it beautiful from near or far. The building is tall and statuesque in a purely architectural manner. This hotel is interconnected to the other Marriott properties as well. It's conveniently located in the downtown area within walking distance of many of the city's attractions. It offers restaurants, Starbucks, a gym, and on site self or valet parking. The service is impeccable! The staff I encountered were friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. The rooms are extremely clean, very spacious, and comfortable. The bathrooms are new and modern. My mother was in this trip with me, so we were offered a handicap accessible room to accommodate here wheelchair. Navigation to and fro with the wheelchair was easy and not problematic. Several of the staff offered to be of assistance with bags or whatever my need was. This experience was truly enjoyable. This is a gem, literally and figuratively, in the downtown Indy area. read more

Stayed at the JW Marriott a few weeks back for a tradeshow in Indy. Very close to the convention center, large bar/lounge area, plus a restaurant and additional sports bar. I found the staff friendly, rooms nice/clean and the shower was hot - I don't really ask for a lot more :) Service was a bit slow in the hotel bar, but there was a lot going on that week/weekend, so understandable. This is my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. I came here because we were in Indianapolis for a research conference (why they chose Indiana, I will never know). But even though there's not much to do in the city, I would live here if it means I can stay in this hotel all the time. When you drive up to the hotel, you already know you're going to like it here because the building is lovely. The lobby is very nice, and the rooms have beautiful decor. Our view was okay, but the guys in our group had another room and it was simply breathtaking. I love that there's a starbucks on the second floor. I love that they have water bottles in the room that are free of charge (I think...didn't look at the bill honestly). Only thing is that internet isn't free, but that wasn't a problem because there's free wifi on the first and second floor so I just found a quiet corner with an outlet to do work. read more

I like the direct enclosed bridge walkway from the hotel to the Indianapolis Convention Center. I arrived late Sunday night from the airport and checkin was a breeze. It was hard to relax after such a long day on the road. I requested some camomile teabags from the room service and they promptly brought me 1 for each night! I was recently in Indy for a conference and I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was spotless and the food was delicious. The hotel is centrally located and connected to various buildings that you can walk through to get to the mall, football stadium, etc. The fitness center is one of the best hotel fitness centers I have been in as it has plenty of equipment options. Room service did take a little longer than I would've liked in regard to bringing food to my room but everything else about this hotel is just spot on. If I am needing to return to Indy in the future for a conference or fun, I will most definitely be staying here. While here, definitely grab a cocktail in the downstairs bar, the bartenders are outstanding! read more

My husband booked a room for us for GenCon2011. I was surprised at the size of the room for the cost, and REALLY surprised that there was an additional charge for WIFI and that breakfast wasn't included. I must admit, I don't stay in hotels often - maybe six times a year at most, depending on the year. Over the last three years we've stayed at boutique-ish hotels and bed&breakfasts on the west coast, a chain hotel and some smaller hotels as well as B&Bs in Europe. The JW Marriott was by far the most disappointing. The staff was nice. It was busy during check out. I expected it to be busy since we left on Sunday when GenCon was near over. But I didn't expect that they'd be completely out of luggage carts and that getting our car from valet would be such a long wait. It's not like GenCon was a giant secret, or that the Marriott had no way of anticipating how many people would be checking out. Hopefully they'll have some kinks worked out by the 2012 Superbowl. The only awesome thing about the JW Marriott is that it's hooked to the Indianapolis Convention Center via the hamster tubes, and the general proximity to other GenCon associated buildings. read more

Had our girls-weekend-out recently and spent it here at the JW. The rooms were booked at a very affordable rate, esp considering this place is happening on the weekends and it is modern, upscale, and has a fantastic view of Indianapolis... plus, it's within walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars, night clubs as well as the IMAX and other spots for visitors. The front desk staff were really friendly... and the room service was, too. The rooms were modern, clean, sleek, and provided a fantastic view of the city with the wall-sized windows! Room service breakfast was disappointing.. and hella expensive. Of course we had the steak and egg breakfast (which isn't cheap), but for what we paid, we should've had a way better meal experience... steak was over-cooked, not seared, and bland (no seasonings) and the sides of toast we ordered were not toasted nor warm... Besides that, the hotel was great: good price, modern, clean, perfectly located for a 'night out on the town'... the kind of stuff that's important to chosing a hotel. PS: their lobby is super busy and super happening... lots of fancy people drinking and mingling.. definitely not a quiet place nor an 'escape' type of hotel. read more

The new JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis is a stellar place to stay when in town. I've been watching it rise from the ground for the last couple of years and was thrilled to finally have it be open and willing to accept my corproate rate! I did the self park on this occasion - no issues there for the majority of the time. There was one big convention for a few days where parking was a major issue and they had people directing traffic out front and in the garage. Hopefully, they'll be better prepared for similar events in the future - it was really frustrating to take 15 minutes to get parked after coming back from a long day of class. Anyway, the check in process was smooth and it seems to be a thing at this hotel to walk guests to the right elevators. Pretty slick...the elevators were problematic a time or two (not working correctly), but I kind of chalk that up to new hotel bugs. The whole feel of the hotel is kind of natural modern...kind of a midwestern twist on scandanavian design. Lots of wood and organic items around the hotel. Very comfortable, very lovely. The room was great - I was put in a nice room on the concierge level. Huge space, great furniture, comfortable bed, no issues with the internet and a really over the top shower with multiple spray heads, etc. Judging by the photos below, I think the rooms on the concierge level might be a little bigger than the standard rooms...but, it's good to have Marriott Status! The concierge lounge was fabulous. Awesome selection of food in the evening - you could just about have dinner up here - 4 or 5 various salads each night in addition to the normal heavier goodies. The breakfast was fairly standard and theall day snacks (local gourmet popcorn while I was there) was tasty! The gym was well stocked for a hotel facility. Lots of equipment and a really great variety as well. Love that the cardio machines overlook the city - makes the workouts go by much more quickly. They also have a nice small pool, hottub and mat area where you can use a balance ball or get some yoga stretches in. One major issue during the stay that came up was quickly addressed by the staff and management. This is my new go-to hotel in Indianapolis! read more

Looking for a local hotel after a planned very late night we decided to stay at the JW. As a titanium lifetime Marriott member with over 2000 marriott nights i new what to expect or so i thought. Checkin was difficult to the point of thinking maybe we stay elsewhere. The confidence level at the front desk was non existent and confusion was in high demand. The concierge room was well stocked but again the interaction with staff made me question if we were in a Fairfield in a third world nation. The staff based on the reviews i have read and personal experience is ill trained and could care less about you or the service they provide. With that said the valets were excellent as were the starbucks staff. I hate to say this but opt for a lower level Marriott as this is not an upgrade read more

The wife and I were in town for a few days. When we're in town, we always opt to stay downtown at a Marriott property. This trip, we decided to stay at the JW Marriott. I was impressed with its entrance and main lobby, which seemed more Vegas modern than staid, conservative Naptown. Check in was a snap. The front desk staff was friendly and professional, with one of the associates walking us to the elevator while describing the property to us. The elevators required a guest key to access guest room floors (a security feature I liked) and were clean and very quiet. Actual ascent/descent of the elevators was almost imperceptible. Our room on the 22nd floor was plenty spacious, clean, and modern. We had a nice view of White River Park to the west. The bathroom, while not the largest and actually with a single sink and smaller vanity than I expected, had modern fixtures and a large shower with multiple heads. Most important to me, the mattress and bedding was very comfortable. The pillows were soft, but quite supportive (unlike the pillows found at its sister hotel, the Courtyard). I slept well. The JW Marriott easily has the best bed I've slept in at any Indianapolis hotel. Sadly, the guest rooms didn't have free wifi, although it was available in the lobby. Maid service was unseen, but our room was cleaned up daily with fresh towels. Besides the quality of the bed, the thing that separated the JW Marriott from the competition was its fitness center. The fitness center was clean, quite large, with the latest in fitness equipment ranging from treadmills with TVs, ellipticals trainers, and stair climbers. There were also plenty of free weights, weight machines, as well as open space for people to throw down yoga mats (mats not provided). It was the best hotel fitness center I've seen. The JW Marriott would've been 5 stars in my book had the guest rooms had free wifi. I haven't stayed at the Conrad or the new Le Meridien (formerly the Canterbury), so I don't have a basis for comparison, but compared to everything else, the JW Marriott is, hands down, the nicest hotel in Indy and will be the wife and my first choice to stay the next time we're in town. read more

I had the displeasure of staying at the JW Marriott recently. As I sat at the bar enjoying my social distancing that was, according to signs everywhere mandated, a group of 10 or so people congregated around where I was sitting. I asked them to social distance, they started to ridicule me for doing so. I asked again and began recording them on my phone. The next thing I know one of the folks in the non social distancing group grabs my phone and throws it a crossed the room. Thinking I was in the right here I looked for support amongst the bar helpers who had been perfectly pleasant just moments before. No back up to be found. The group of non distances took off immediately. The next thing I know I have the "hotel secret service" approaching me. I was told I had 60 seconds to get to my room or they would "evict me". Not sire what to do with this I immediately tried to explain. No explaining, they demanded to esprit me to my room and they advised me that I must stay put. Of course my phone was yet to be found as it had been hurled over innocent people's heads. Again I tried to declare my innocence. They were having non of it and banished me to my room to escape eviction. It is not my responsibility to ensure social distancing and safety. It is actually the establishments responsibility to do so. I am a gold member that has spent years of loyalty with Marriotts over the globe, I was now treated like a common criminal. Shame on JW Indianapolis for treating a loyal customer in this manner. I have a choice in the hotels I stay at and Marriott just lost my faith. I would not recommend visiting this establishment, they have been unkind, prejudiced, and generally uncaring altogether. Sincerely, Hilton fan forever! read more

1 Star: Location. It is walking distance from tons of museums, sports arenas, shopping, restaurants and more. 2 Stars: STAFF. These people are amazing! So friendly, so attentive and just very respectful. I can't help but smile when passing by them. I was staying here for a conference and on the first day, I asked a worker where it was being held and as we were speaking I dropped a scone I had just bought from Osteria Pronto (Italian restaurant and in the morning it is like a little Starbucks. Really affordable prices too!). After I had finally reached my conference (at least 5 min later), she finds me and hands me the same scone I had dropped! I was so touched and it really excelled my experience here. 1 Star: Amenities. From the super clean room, comfy beds, gym facilities and modern decor and appliances, I was so pleased. -1 Star: There's no refrigerator and at many times during my stay, I just wanted a cold drink of water since it's SO humid in Indy. Also, the hallways of the hotel was very stuffy and damp. And mostly, there are gnats ALL over my room. These little brown bugs are everywhere in my bathroom and bedroom. I've killed at least 10 during my stay and while nature might not be controllable, I feel this problem should be further pursued to find the source. They're disgusting ... caught one flying around my toothbrush. Yuck. Overall, the hotel is wonderful and I definitely enjoyed my time here! read more

A good night's sleep - that's why you usually want a hotel room. The JW does not offer that. You also want the room clean, modern, and functional. The JW has some of that. Many reviewers offer 5-star reviews because of the JW's proximity to nearby restaurants or the skybridge to neighboring buildings. Other Indianapolis downtown hotels share these identical amenities, including the other Marriott hotels that reside in the cluster alongside the JW. So I'm going to rate my experience in the hotel room itself, instead of its proximity to Victory Field, Zoo, Eiteljorg Museum, St. Elmo's, stadium, restaurants, etc. 1. The thermostat uses a motion detector. I awoke in the middle of the night, wet with sweat, because the air conditioning kept disabling. I had to change beds to be closer to the thermostat to keep it working. Through the discomfort of the heat, changing beds, and wide temperature swings, I didn't sleep well. 2. The thermostat does not have a fan "on/off/auto" setting. I usually turn the thermostat fan to "on" to maintain air circulation (prevents room from feeling stale) and create some white noise. Instead, the JW room air got still and stale between the air conditioning cycling. So I was constantly throwing covers off, only to pull them back up. This compounded the sleep disturbance. 3. Although the glass façade is very fancy, the room was very noisy. The thermal expansion and contraction of the glass façade loudly popped, creaked, cracked, and groaned all night. This compounded the sleep disturbance. Having a thermostat "fan on" switch would have been useful to create some background white noise to cover the building's creaks and groans. 4. Although the curvature of the building creates an architectural interest, the curvature also serves as an acoustical lens. On the 17th floor, I could clearly make out conversations of pedestrians on the street below. This also meant every motorcycle, truck, and car enthusiast sounded like they were in the room with me. This compounded the sleep disturbance. I slept with earplugs, an honor I usually reserve for many of the Chinese hotels I commonly stay. 5. Room service knocked on my door at 8:00AM on SUNDAY MORNING. I was still trying to recoup a little bit of sleep. That was the last straw. This place does NOT offer a comfortable stay. This was the only problem with staff. Why send the staff to wake up hotel guests on weekend mornings? The nearby (connected) Springhill Suites, Courtyard, or Fairfield are imminently more comfortable. I've stayed at all three. Within the gigantic Marriott cluster on Washington Street, the JW is the least comfortable choice. 6. Our stay was to celebrate our anniversary. We paid extra for a corner room, but was surprised to have two small beds instead of a single king bed. Due to the thermostat issue (above), I switched beds in the middle of the night. On our anniversary! We slept in separate beds! However, neither one of us really slept well. Not really how we wanted to remember things. 7. Internet service costs $14.95/day, whereas it is free elsewhere in the hotel cluster. This is silly to not offer internet service, even for a "full-service" hotel. 8. As a "full-service" hotel, it is lacking an in-room refrigerator ... or even a mini-bar. 9. There are TONS of staff everywhere, but they can't help with inherent deficiencies of the JW. The problem is not with management, it's just a poorly equipped and bad building. If your goal is status and panache, then the JW is your best choice. There are glamorous German and Italian cars parked on the entry drive. But expect frustrations. If your goal is getting a good night's sleep in Indianapolis downtown, with an exceptionally functional room and equally friendly staff, perhaps choose the Springhill Suites or Courtyard. You can still access the same restaurants and skywalk (to the Convention Center and Circle Center Mall) from anywhere in the Marriott cluster. read more

Stayed here for four nights for a recent conference. This hotel is one that hosts conferences constantly it seems and you can tell by the staff as they are attentive and great at customer service. Easy check in, clean, bright spaces and clean bedrooms. I had a meeting in the presidential suite and it was beautiful! This is a great hotel for all events and I'm sure I'll be back again as conferences seem to pick this place often. read more

For Indianapolis, this is about as swank as it gets. It is very conveniently located by Lucas Oil Stadium and the Southwest corner of Downtown (also not too far from Ooey Pooey). I have been to numerous conferences here. Indiana Bar Association meetings, CLE's, private parties. The place is always clean. To be honest, in my humble opinion, nothing quite matches up with the classic hotels of yore. This is no Palmer House, no Waldorf. It lacks that degree of character. It is somewhat ironic that is named similarly to the Marrott, an old hotel that did have such character and closed long ago. As someone who is by no means a fan of modern architecture, this looks pretty cool. I dig the blue glass. But it is too sterile and disposable to be really classic. So it gets for stars because there really isn't much else by way of hotels in Indy. If you want class, convenience, service, and good food... this is probably your stop. (The Canterbury is such an old hotel, but back in the day it was a flophouse. It has been remade into a boutique hotel, but it lacks gravitas--it's a good option, too, though.) read more

A lovely hotel experience for my first visit to Indy! The hotel staff, the room service, the amenities, the two restaurants, the STARBUCKS, everything put together made me not so sad to be away from home this week. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown Indy. Its in a convenient location to sports arenas, restaurants and businesses and is not too far from the airport. I walked downtown for dinner and was later told that I could have made it there without even going outside by using the connections between the hotel and newly expanded convention center. What a great alternative, especially in the chilly winter! Here's hoping that I will be staying at the JW for all of my subsequent Indy visits! read more

The view! We stayed on the 33rd floor and could see victory field, the zoo, white river and the canal. Our room was amazing, it was a single king sized bed. The bathroom had only a shower but the shower had 3 shower heads, I could have stayed in there forever. We enjoyed dinner at Osteria Pronto and everything was delicious we had the steak and sea bass. I highly recommend eating there. Since I am 9 months pregnant, we ordered room service later and that would be my only complaint. The room service only deserves 2 stars. Our burger was cold, dry and over cooked. Our salad came with the wrong dressing and we had fruit stuck to the bottom of our plates. The breakfast buffet at Osteria Pronto the next morning was truly amazing, the best breakfast buffet I have ever enjoyed at a hotel. read more

Great property. Minimalist decorating. Bar and 2 restaurants onsite. The rooms get a 5 for sleep stars. Zero noise between neighboring rooms. It is a huge draw for a few local companies and whatever local convention is taking place (center adjacent to the hotel). The pillows receive 4 stars which edged every courtyard I've stayed at recently by a landslide. Who needs sleep? Someone who heavily metrics en suite noise pollution and pillow quality. read more

I stayed at the JW for the Gen Con convention, and the hotel was completely sold out. Even with two or three thousand guests, my party and I always felt like we received fantastic, personal service. The hotel's design seemed to teeter between elegant and homey. This combination left me comfortable at all times. The room was spacious enough for four people who were not sharing beds. We made a number of requests to the hotel staff, and they were able to help us with every one in one way or another. While there I checked out the executive lounge, pool, and inside bar. The lounge was great! It has a beautiful view of the city that dwarfs my 21st floor room. While I can mirror others note of the eggs being runny for my first day, they were much better each other, and all of the other food was top notch. I especially like the coffee from both their espresso machine and pot. The pool was a small lap pool, which worked for me--laps are what I came for. The bar was packed, but the layout did a good job of managing noise. Parking was a bit pricey, but the valet service allowed us to come and go, which we needed to do a few times, so that made it alright. The JW offered a baggage claim service on check-out so customers could check out of the hotel, but still enjoy the rest of the convention. This is a really nice touch. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up that caused a minor inconvenience for me and likely a major one for someone else. The hotel worked quickly to get it resolved. Overall, my group was very impressed by the hotel and we will be looking to book it next time we are in town. read more

The WORST JW Marriott I have ever been to in the entire world. We pull in to the hotel to be told the valet is full and we can park in a garage across the street. No elite member check in area open. The lobby is a chaotic mess. Apparently the rates are cheap right now so there is a basketball tournament and dance contest group staying here. Dozens of teens congregating in the lobby. The state law requires that everyone must wear masks indoors. Half the people have no mask on. The security officers are standing together chatting rather than attempting to enforce the law. We get off the elevator and the entire hallway smells like marijuana. It's 10:30 on Saturday night. The restaurants and bars are closed. In room dining has been suspended. The phone in my room doesn't work so I can't even call the lobby. I call from my cell phone and am told the hotel is having technical issues and televisions and phones aren't working in all rooms. I asked if they were going to enforce the law and I was told no, they weren't, and if I was uncomfortable I could leave. I have stayed at JWs around the world and I feel like I'm at Holiday Inn at this disgusting hotel. read more

I was here for a conference. I didn't stay overnight in the hotel rooms. My review will be based on their meeting areas. The JW Marriott is a very nice hotel and hosts several conferences. I enjoyed the conference rooms, gender neutral restrooms and the accessibility to the convention center. I enjoyed using the Starbucks located inside the hotel. My only suggestion is the temperature control in the conference rooms. It was extremely cold in our conference room. Also more directional signs for conference attendees. read more

I loved almost everything about this hotel! We bought the family zoo package. The zoo is minutes away. It's across the street from a historic museum & minutes from the lively downtown. The inside has great food & Starbucks. Loved that! The meeting area is very nice. The hotel was very responsive when I left items in my car TWICE. They got them out & brought them right up. The room was clean & comfortable. I do wish I could have found a channel with kids cartoons. The pool was pretty cold. read more
