Honestly was really excited to get my extensions but FULL REGRET. These extensions are super thin. If you have thick hair they say to buy 2 packs but like how are you going to fit all those clips in your hair??? I took my hair out of the package and it was already falling apart. I've worn them twice and 2 of my clips are legit falling apart. NOT WORTH $300! Don't waste your time buying the clip in extensions they are cheaply made. read more

Before buying my 3 bags of extension here at JZ I had bought bombshell exstentions a year or so prior. Yes they were exspensive and they girl who helped me with those wasn't super helpful but that was at a different salon. Now having had both brands hands down bombshell wins, jz hair is a joke, the quality just isn't there in the texture in the feel of the hair in the fullness even the smell. And the 3 bags I had to buy was over $500 and still wasn't as full as my 1 bag of bombshell for $380. And then almost $300 on top for install. now that is a lot of money for me. I left without it styled. I feel like $800 later I should leave feeling good/happy. NO!! NO!! Not worth the money!! read more

I'm going to be completely honest here. I have been to this salon 3 times and have had the same sweet girl do my hair each time. I had extremely healthy and long hair before I went to this place and now my hair is beyond fried. I had dirty blond and high-lighted hair to begin with and had this stylist do a balayage on me. She put bleach on my ends that were already blond. My hair was white on the ends and very brassy towards my roots. I went back 2 months later and asked that she tone the orange out of my hair and she put MORE bleach on my hair. It's been a month now and my hair is so damaged I have to cut off at least 10 inches to get it healthy again. She spent less than 5 minutes cutting my hair too! What the! This is a cute salon but make sure you do research on who you trust with your hair. Remember just because someone is nice does not mean they are experts. BEWARE! read more

Recently started going to JZ after having a bad experience at another salon. Presley has been doing my extensions and I've been really happy. I'm able to go 6-7 weeks between appts too, where my last place I needed to go every 4 weeks. The hair is great quality. I also like their method, and it's about an hour for one row of hair. They have a lot of options of different types of extensions. I highly recommend. Nice, modern salon too. read more

DO NOT go to this salon!! You will regret it. The stuff they use for their expenstions is horrible and the owner is a total b word. And very very rude. I got treated like complete crap when going to this salon. They didn't blend the extensions at all, and within the first week my hair starting ripping out of my head. I've talked to multiple other salons and they said they have heard many complaints about this salon and this happening to other women. And would not work with this salon whatsoever. Whatever they use to put in your extensions ruins your hair. Horrible experience, bad customer service. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

I recently moved to the area, and needed a trusted stylist to help me chop off 10 inches of my hair. I noticed this cute salon while passing by and thought I'd try them out. Kathryn did a fantastic job, and I love my new do! She was very thoughtful of the picture examples I provided, and consulted me at every step making sure I was comfortable with her work. She styled it so nicely and even gave me a great recommendation of where I can donate my hair. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the price was (especially after being accustomed to Washington D.C. prices). The salon has a chic look and provides a professional yet comfortable atmosphere. I would gladly go back here again for my next cut. read more

I got my JZ styles tape in extensions installed about a week ago and I am so pleased with the quality and look of them! I am a dancer, so I sweat a lot and with past extensions, they would bunch up and get VERY tangled and were so hard to manage, so I was apprehensive about getting extensions installed again. With JZ styles extensions I've been super impressed with how easy they have been to manage! I LOVE them and will definitely refer/encourage others to get these! I have yet to actually visit this salon and receive a service.. I live in Seattle. My review is in regards to her online shop! I started watching Jessi a few years ago on YouTube and was completely hooked with her channel. She is one of the few YouTubers I regularly watch. She is so well educated in her field. She knows extensions inside out and just from watching her education videos, I've learned more about extensions than most stylists. I purchase my hair from another company (she doesn't offer 24 inch tape ins yet!), but have bought her tape and remover for over a year. I am 110% satisfied with the product. The remover is AMAZING!!!! Smells great, takes all of the residue off and leaves my tape ins smooth. I just recently bought her rose oil & I am obsessed! My hair is so hydrated, silky and soft. I have messaged Jessi multiple times on her instagram and she gets back to me within a few hours. You can truly see how invested she is into her business and clientele. I choose to purchase online from her business because her product is top notch and I believe in supporting business' & owners who truly care and put forth tremendous effort. I had a horrible experience with this salon. If you're wanting a balayage as a brunette don't waste your time nore your money. Aynsley was my hairdresser, I told her I wanted to go a bit darker to get rid of the dullness in my hair and add sunkissed highlights. I was passionate about telling her I didn't want my hair to turn out black. She reassured me it wouldn't be. As soon as she's finished I start to notice just how dark it was and I ask her if she felt like it was black, she said "oh no not at all, your highlights will pop once you shower." I could hardly even see any of the highlights she did and it looked terrible. But I trusted it would pop more when I showered and the "black hair" would go away. It didn't after several washes. So I text her showing the picture of how I wanted my hair *which I showed of what my hair looked like. They looked completely different. I get it that hairdressers mess up but after explaining how I'm getting married in 20 days and I need this fixed and I just wish she would have told me in the beginning that it wasn't going to turn out the way I wanted it to for my big day I would have taken my 150$ somewhere to someone who knew what they were doing. Extremely unprofessional and ignorant. It's sad that the people at this salon care more about the quantity rather than quality of the clients hair. I now have to spend more money to fix my hair weeks before my wedding because she was unwilling to fix the hair she ruined. Never heard back from her as she ignored my last couple texts. read more

I was at JZ Styles Salon today to get my hair done when I overheard the owner of the salon, Jessica, talking down to one of their customers that had been coming to them for some time. Before moving to their new remodeled location the customer had always gotten the same thing done and had always paid the same amount. To the customers surprise when she went to pay she was being charged $100 more than she normally paid and only brought the regular amount + a tip. Jessica then proceeded to tell her that they raised their prices because of the new location, and I quote, " Getting your hair done is a luxury so you shouldn't get it done if you can't afford it." Way to talk to your loyal customers!! How about maybe giving a heads up about pricing increases!? How was she supposed to know? As a customer service supervisor for a multi- billion dollar company, I was appalled to hear the owner speaking to her in that manner. Seriously questioning even going back if this is how the owner of the Salon treats clients. read more

LOSING ONE OR TWO OR THREE PEOPLE MAY NOT AFFECT YOU OR YOUR COMPANY BUT WHY WOULD YOU EVEN WANT THAT AS AN OWNER.. I own my own salon and I have sent several clients down to this salon to buy hair and each time I hear how rude the staff was to them. They didn't help they barely acknowledged them when they walked in and when they asked questions they seemed put out. I have bought hair there myself as well and when I walked in to the new location I was stared at by the employees that were basically just bullshitting with one another A girl came from the back smiled a fake smile and walked away. I waited at the counter as a young girl came and said do you have an apt? I said no I'm here to get hair she seemed so annoyed from the moment she walked to the counter like I interrupted her.. I followed her to the back and began asking questions where I too felt like she was annoyed or uneducated not once did she say let's match you it was me asking for swatches and figuring out my own color. I never like posting bad reviews I'm all about lifting others up but when my clients go there because I refer them to JZ then I experience the same thing.. pretty sad! read more

Absolutely love this salon and the owner Jessi. I have gone to her and many of her stylists since she opened and have never had anything than a wonderful experience. Jessi and her team always go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and beautiful. Not to mention everything is always so clean and tidy. Jessi always goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and the quality of work is always outstanding. The quality of JZStyles hair is also something to be noted. They did a good job with my hair but my stylist didn't talk during the entire hour and a half that I was there. While we were waiting for the color in my hair to sit, all the people in the salon (about 7) all went outside to take a picture while I just sat inside. I was also told that it would be 80 for my color and 15 for my cut (95 in total) but when I went to pay it was 103. On top of this the app she used required that I select a tip(the minimum was $15) which I did not want to do given the bad experience but I did not have a "no tip" option. read more

Sarah did my hair and left my roots completely blue to tone Orange after she did a baby light on me. Well the blue faded and i still have neon roots. I went to Jessi the owner to fix and she melted my hair. I even paid more for Olaplex but I know she didn't use it. My hair has never been more damaged in my entire life. read more

First time going here and had such an awesome experience. My hair was super short due to a medical diagnosis and they were able to add some length to my pixie cut which nobody else wanted to. STAY AWAY! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I give this salon ZERO stars. I saw Aynsley and here is what happened. I sent her a direct message on Instagram (that is how she communicates with people) asking if she could fit me in. My sister had just gone to her and her hair looked amazing so I wanted her to my hair as well. She asked what I wanted so I told her that I was looking to do a balayage for a more natural looking hair style. I sent her a picture of my current hair as well as a picture of what I wanted. She said she could do it. So I got to the salon and sat in her chair. I showed her the picture again, BEFORE SHE TOUCHED MY HAIR, and she said "oh, i love that. lets do it!" over and over again. Then she said she wanted to do it over at the shampoo bowl. I thought that was weird but I went along with it. She washed it, applied a toner, and a root touch up on my roots, and then dried it. NO highlighting, NO painting, NO color on my ends at all! I was so upset and disappointed that I started to cry right then at the salon. She asked me if i was freaking out and I said "Yes, i am. This is NOT what I wanted." She said, "Go home and let me know in a couple of days if you want me to fix it." Then she charged me $70 (half price) because i was so unhappy. I left the salon in tears, SOOOOOOO upset. I hated my hair. She messaged me a few hours later how I liked things. I told her how upset i was and how I wanted her to fix it. She told me she didn't have anything for over 2 weeks. Then she proceeded to tell me that she couldn't add anymore blonde because she wanted to "keep the integrity of my hair." But that was never brought up to me prior to that moment. On my way home from the salon I called and asked for the manager. Sarah, who told me she was the acting manager, was the ONLY accommodating one and told me that she would do whatever I needed her to do to make it right. So she said "I will make a few phone calls and fit you in." Well, surprisingly, I never heard back from her. So I called the next day and spoke to the real manager and she was a JOKE! She told me that Aynsley Jorgensen was a "booth rental stylist" not a real employee and so there was nothing she or the salon could do. Sarah was willing to fix my hair, Aynsley's mistake, for free if I could come in at 5:30pm. But unfortunately I was going out of town the next day and wasn't able to make it in. And I also didn't want her to do it for free when Aynsley should have fixed it. I messaged Aynsley back and asked her when she could do my hair and she said "I have nothing for three weeks and I do not feel comfortable doing your hair anymore." I understand that, so I asked for a refund and she said no. I have never had such a terrible experience with a salon and I want to make sure everyone stays away! read more
