JZ Construction did a whole house window and door replacement for my parents as well as installed Hunter Douglas Shutters & Roman Shades on the interior. From start to finish it has been such an easy process!! I was handling most things for my parents and they kept all of us in the loop through it all. Chad came out and measured all our windows and doors and he was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable. We liked how they are Peoples Choice winners and felt comfortable going with a local, family operated company. Chad was able to answer in detail all of our questions about the windows and warranty and explain the differences on the series they carry. After we received our estimate from Chad we came into the showroom and met with Mariah to pick out our window coverings. Mariah was knowledgeable and patient through the process of my parents deciding what style of coverings and then their fabrics and color choices. We took advantage of the free install of the coverings since we were getting windows. After we decided to move forward Juan came out to do a final measure and he confirmed our glass type, operation of the windows, and helped us decide how we wanted the French doors to operate. Finally the day of install comes and the crew arrives on time and gets straight to work! After they were done there was nothing ruined and there was absolutely no mess! They covered and cleaned everything!! They were so professional and truly know their stuff. I am so happy we choose JZ Construction!!! I don't normally write reviews but I just had to. JZ's customer service is FIRST rate. Over-the-top, hands down, the BEST in customer service. They know how to treat their customers whether you spend $0 or $12K, they truly care about every decision you make when it comes to your home. I called JZ researching different window companies and spoke to Chad (which ironically is my husbands name, and tried not to be bias - ha!) Chad was professional, knowledgeable, you can hear in his voice how genuine he was and immediately I was interested in learning more about their work and company. We stopped at JZ en route to another window company, and I'm SO glad we did. We were greeted by Heidi, she provided a quick no nonsense bid and follow up to my conversation with Chad. I recently had a project completed to install siding on a detached garage and could not be happier with the work JZ Construction provided. Working with Joe is a great experience. From the first meeting at my house for the estimate, until the final walk through with him once the project is completed, he made me fell as if I was his only client. He was attentive, responsive, and kept me informed of timing and scheduling. He was transparent--which I really appreciate!--in setting my expectations. He takes pride in the service he provides which is seen during our interactions. Tae did the installation and his work is outstanding. The structure is quite old with some odd shapes. Tae was meticulous in ensuring the smallest details were accounted for and took great care to ensure my expectations were met. He also treated my home as if it was his, ensuring things were neat and tidy. Tae is first rate and you will get a beautiful product due to his skills and work ethic. JZ Construction just finished our windows this last week and I am so happy!!! We replaced 6 windows and a door and their three man crew was able to get it done in one day which is incredible to me. My husband first met with Chad who made us feel like window experts by the time he left with how much information he gave us. This really stood out to us because we got quotes from multiple companies and each salesperson danced around our questions and at least 2 of them tried to pressure us into signing while in our home. That wasn't the case with Chad, instead he encouraged us to get other bids and shop around!! That's when we knew this company truly had the customers best interest in mind. Being a younger married couple I feel it is easy to be taken advantage of and at no point during this process did we feel they were trying to pull something. What I also loved about JZ is not once did the price change. When Chad emailed us the estimate that was the final price to the end. We were thinking when their installer came out to measure we would get a call (like you often do in construction) of having to add more but that was not the case! (I had a whole section here about how bad my experience with Clovis Glass was but Jeremy W's story is almost right on with my experience, so I just removed those comments to focus on my review for JZ Construction) No response for days from Clovis Glass, desperate and in need of new windows before Christmas, I called JZ Construction and was greeted by Mariah, who is an angel from heaven. Mariah was so attentive and responsive to what my needs were and provided great information on Anlin windows. A few emails back and forth and I had a great quote on some very nice windows and an installation date before Christmas. The installation date came and all of the seven windows were ready and installed by the most professional crew. I wasn't onsite but Juan would call me whenever there was a decision I needed to make regarding the install. We are so happy we went with JZ Construction and chose to put in Anlin windows. In April 2018, my wife and I saw JZ Construction's TV commercial about insulated vinyl siding. This peaked our interest as our home's exterior was deteriorating due to wind and weather damage partially due to lack of rain gutters. We thought about painting but dreaded all the work of repairing the eaves and outriggers. Joe came to our home to show us the benefits of insulated vinyl siding and black coil wrap for the eaves, posts, and outriggers. Joe had some ideas we hadn't considered. These included the clay color siding with black trim which accented our tan windows. He suggested 6" seamless rain gutters to complete the look. Tae, the master craftsman who installed the siding is one of the most diligent workers I have ever met. He was always on time and worked long hours making sure every little detail was completed. He made our home look stunning. We are very happy with JZ Construction's professionalism and work ethic of all their employees. We were able to secure financing at our credit union at a lower interest rate because the siding is rated for energy efficiency due to its insulated backing. There are several companies in Fresno advertising window installation and I did a lot research before selecting JZ Construction. When I visited their showroom and met Chad I asked lots of questions. He is extremely knowledgeable about the products and confirmed my decision to select Anlin windows. He even suggested I visit their competitor down the street before making a final decision to have them do our installation. I selected their Malibu sliding door and Catalina window. Mariah gave us an approximate delivery date and our door and window actually arrived a week earlier than expected. Jaime, our installer showed up at 8:00am as promised and immediately started to work. I always watch any work being done at my house and he answered all my questions. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. The proper installation is even more important than the selection of the product. My relationship with JZ Construction started 21 years ago with a textured coating job. That was a very professional job. also, time had proven that all claims about quality were true. Then, 16 years later, I needed my glass doors and windows replaced. So, I went to my files of reliable contractors and found that JZ had expanded into other areas including doors and windows. I contacted them and received prompt and courteous advice My new job was handled with the same degree of efficiency and professionalism. Last week, five years after the installation, a patio sliding door became hard to lock. I was told that it probably was caused by settling of the house. I contacted JZ to seek their advice. I recently had new Anlin windows installed by JZ Construction. Chad came out and was super professional and provided a great quote. Later his installer came out and took some final measurements and then about 4-6 weeks later our windows were installed. The crew was very clean and orderly and really knew what they were doing and they were on time and finished ahead of schedule. They said they would be there by 0830, but was at my house by 0815, they were supposed to be done by 1530, but were cleaned up and gone by 1445. One of my windows has some smudges on the inside between the panes, they quickly identified it and on the same day Anlin called to let me know they were aware of it and already sent the order to make a new window for me. 18 years ago we had JZ install Anlin windows in our home. We were so impressed with them and the windows that when it was time to put new windows in the home we are in now, I didn't even look around. Joe, I think is the owner, is great! They did some siding and windows on a house we flipped and they did excellent work. The crew guys were super friendly and very detail oriented. We loved the options we were given. We were having issues finding a reasonable company to do these windows because they weren't standard square windows. Other contractors were making it a big deal and were adding on charges because of this. These guys really went above and beyond. They made sure the windows were what we wanted. The siding was done surprisingly quickly and the color is wonderful. The pricing is a little higher than the average, but it was all upfront, not added on by a rude face. It seems to me that the standard is quality with them. My recommendation is high. read more

JZ Construction installed my Anlin windows in 2005. Since then, I have had one bathroom window hardware fixed (couldn't lock window), 1 glass pane replaced (broken by gardener), and today the track to my sliding glass door was replaced by Art and Fabian. They arrived on time, did the work quick (plus changed the rollers and another piece that was broken by my nephew), and were very polite. I would recommend JZ Construction and the Anlin repair guys to anyone who asks. The office crew is extremely helpful and very professional as well. We're been doing some updating to our 70's era house in Clovis and JZ has put us well on the way. We requested a quote online, got an immediate reply and were able to set up an measuring appointment within a week. Not long after the initial visit we had a very detailed, reasonable quote in our hands and the we had a nice visit with the sales guy who gave us all our options and any information that we needed to know. The windows actually came in sooner than expected and were installed within a day. Replacing the aluminum windows has been a HUGE improvement both in look, reducing outside noise and keeping out the drafts.
