We were given one quote and then a second quote that was over twice the amount of the first. We were told that there was more work involved and the first estimator was wrong. No apologies, no offer to reduce the price due to their error, just "the new quote is your price". Then I'm told that if, "when they get in there" it's less work involved that we'll be charged for the actual work required. I was just told that I was being charged a little over $100 less. I asked for the exact number that would be charged to my card, including the two $900 deposits required, I was charged the second quote to the penny. The quality of the finished window is very poor and should by checked before delivering to the customer, you certainly pay enough for the finished product. When you call back to the company you get a bunch of lip service that isn't very nice to the customer. You have to get the window replaced a second or third time. EJS read more

We were in need of replacing a small dual pane window in our kitchen garden window. After calling 2 companies of which one was clovis glass, and the quotes were only $30 difference per suggestions by Facebook friends we decided to go with clovis glass. After paying the $40 service fee to have the window measure (amount to be deducted if we order the window) we waited 3 days with no contact so I called the office. The person I spoke with (although she sounded very confused) said she'd email the proposal to me. I was horrified to see that the proposal was now over $300 more than the "ballpark" figure we were told in my initial inquiry. I immediately called and questioned the increase as was told that it was because the installer requested 2 man job. For an additional $300??? We called Clovis Glass for a broken window. I felt there was quite a delay in getting both an estmate (4 business days) and the actual window replacement (another 4 business days). So I can't say they are timely. The gentleman who came for the actual work was very friendly and efficient, he cleaned the area of broken glass that kept coming down with the winds. The customer service at the office was not as efficient and she kept telling me that the $40 for the estimate is due on the spot (as if I was going to stiff them). After the estimate there was a mix up in invoices at the office she was about to reschedule me but it all worked out. Both appointments they showed up much earlier than expected because they had cancelations that's a bit worrisome. I'm happy with the final glass repair I would consider them again. read more

Had a security screen door installed $$$ and now the screws attaching to my door frame have completely fallen out . The screws are not regulars and I have no way to tighten them. I called and was told tough luck we only stand by our work for 1 year , go to home depot and find help on my own . They told me that it would be applied towards the job, but that does me no good if their quote is significantly higher than competitors. I recently needed to repair a window at my home because I had not the window off of the balancer. I had no idea how to fix this problem and I was going to pay a few hundred dollars to have it fixed. I had literally been quoted by people different glass companies at least 200 to $300 to fix the problem. I called over to Clovis Glass and I spoke to Roberta a woman who could not have been a nicer human being. Roberta was kind patient understanding and friendly.
