Made an appointment online and was greeted by our consultant who was very nice and helpful. She escorted us to the dressing room and got a feel for what we were looking for. Then, she pulled dresses. Very helpful in assisting with trying on dresses. We were also able to go out and look at racks as well. Consultant was very helpful. They were super down to earth and friendly. Service is great. There was a dress we were interested in but in a different color that they didn't have. They offer to order it for you for a $50 fee. If you like it once it comes in, they will apply the fee to the purchase. If you don't, you will have a $50 credit to use at their store. Prices were reasonable. Convenient location. read more

We had the most wonderful experience at K and B Bridals in Bel Air. My granddaughter was shopping for her wedding dress. Masie was our consultant and she was so knowledgeable, professional and so much FUN. It's obvious she loves what she does. She put my granddaughter and her mom at ease and just made it such a fun experience. My granddaughter showed Masie a dress she liked on Tik Tok and Masie said, "we have that dress"! They had the dress, it was in her size and fit her perfectly. We all fell in love with it (even though she tried on several more dresses). Family member purchased dress based on initial try on. The pinning of the dress during try on WAS NOT according the the actual style of the dress, which upon the first fitting ended up being tight fitting mermaid style. The staff should have informed the "bride to be" what the style is. When you are a petite frame and trying on the sample which is much larger than the final dress, you are dependent on the knowledge of the staff. Of course it's not returnable and now we need to see if it can be altered. I would never recommend this business. They should be trying to help the customer so she is satisfied. And this girl is easy going. Go elsewhere. read more

Want to give a shout out to Taye, who helped me pick my dream dress. Considering this was my first time dress shopping, I honestly was not expecting to say yes to something so soon. However, she really listened to my areas of concern and understood my vision for my wedding dress. Each dress she pulled got better and better, making it a difficult decision! The last dress she delivered prevailed, surpassing my expectations ... I'm so in love with it and can't wait to walk down the aisle and marry the love of my life! I will say, while customer service was wonderful (Taye) in particular, the shop could use some sprucing up. Our bridal suite seemed a bit dingy, pillows looked stained, lighting was not flattering and the temperature was a bit warm/uncomfortable. Giving 5 stars for service, 3 stars for atmosphere. This was an interesting visit and disappointing. They didn't pull the dress I wanted, even though I had previously sent in photos and requested a specific dress that they do carry. It came to my attention that it was at another location and they waited till I was about to leave to suggest getting it on loan from the other store. How frustrating. That should have been done before I even came to my appointment. It wasn't very fun and my sales consultant was snippy at my group of ladies. Not a favorite. TO SPARE YOURSELF THE STRESS FOR YOUR WEDDING I ADVISE YOU TO NOT GO TO K&B BRIDALS IN BEL AIR, MD. This business doesn't even deserve the one star that I gave it. The men in my daughter's wedding party used K&B for their tuxes which was a HUGE MISTAKE! Out of the 6 men, K&B only got one order correct. The wrong color shoes had been ordered by K&B for the remaining 5 men. One pair of the incorrect colored shoes had caked up mud on the heel which would have been unacceptable had they been the correct color. My husband picked up his tux a week before the wedding and that's when we realized that the shoes were the wrong color. Also, the groom's brother, who was the officiant, received the wrong color bow tie. I was told that the correct items would be ordered and would arrive no later than Monday. However, the shoes did not arrive until Wednesday but the reorder did not contain the correct color bow tie. I had emailed the manager who happened to be off that day after we picked up the tux. I also copied her manager and the owner regarding their errors. The owner did reach out to me the following day to apologize for all of the problems just this one wedding party experienced with K&B. (I will be posting a separate review regarding the wrong bridesmaids' dresses being ordered by K&B.) The Friday that we picked up my husband's tux, we were able to pick up the groom's father's and brother's tux as they would be arriving Tuesday evening from out of town. On Wednesday morning it was discovered that the groom's father's jacket was too small. Additionally, two of the shirts were too small and since being measured these two men had actually lost weight so I don't know how this could happen. In fact, one of the men thought that it was a child's shirt that he received as it was too small to even button. I called around 9:00 am that Wednesday morning to the owner, manager, and the store but had to leave messages. The manager did call me and reordered the jacket, shirts, and bow tie since it didn't come with the shoes' reorder and said that the items would be in Thursday afternoon. The manager did deliver the correct shoe colors to my house on Wednesday afternoon as I requested since the store was the one to mess up the order. She delivered the jacket and two shirts and tie (not bow tie) to my house on Thursday. (The store initially ordered the wrong color bow tie for the groom's brother but then ordered the correct color but in a tie. How many mistakes can this store make?) Luckily the correct bow tie was shipped directly to my house and arrived the day before the wedding. When I spoke to the manager on that Wednesday morning I asked if the staff had ever been trained to measure men for a tux fitting. I was told that the employee who did the fittings for the wedding party was the best one at the store. This is ironic as this employee is no longer employed at K&B Bridals for other mistakes that she has made as I was told. The manager also told me that the store gets 90% of the tux orders correct, which to me is unacceptable considering it should be 100%. I can understand maybe one mistake, yet with my daughter's wedding they messed up on five of the six orders. The sad thing is that at one point after K&B ordered the incorrect bridesmaids' dresses, the manager told my daughter that she triple checked the tux orders and they were all correct. She triple checked but like I said five of the six orders were incorrect! This entire ordeal was extremely stressful to say the least. Weddings are stressful enough but to have to deal with wrong orders by this business is completely unacceptable especially the week leading up to the wedding. Thankfully, the wedding was perfect. But please save yourself the stress and please do not use K&B for your wedding gown, bridesmaids' dresses, mother of the bride & groom dresses, and the tuxes. One last note, when my husband and I returned all of the tuxes the Monday after the wedding the manager was there and didn't so much as say thank you to us. I told the bridesmaids this bit of information and one of them summed it up perfectly as a "fitting end" to all that we had to deal with at K&B Bridals for just one wedding party. read more

This was the first place I went dress shopping for my wedding and let me tell you it was AMAZING! They listen to everything I liked and didn't like about the dresses I tried on, they kept me feeling great about my self , I wanted to lose some weight before my wedding so some dresses made my fat stick out a little and they made me not picture it that way. They also didn't pressure us into buying anything and I never felt rushed to get out so they can go to the next appointment. They also act like they were my best friend and was so excited for my big day and asked so many questions. I actually said yes to the dress here! We even got our guys tux's from here and every time I walk in they never disappoint in customer service. I can't highly recommend them enough. My dress came in on time and it was PERFECT! K&B Bridals was the first and only place I went (and needed to go) to get my wedding dress. Of all of the steps involved in wedding planning, this was honestly the thing I was dreading most. I suppose most brides are excited at trying on multiple dresses in front of their friends and family. This is not me. I initially felt very self-conscious about parading around in a fancy dress. Kate was AMAZING and really helped me through this. She listened to my preferences and got a feel for my tastes and was never pushy and always honest. I ended up going with two of my girlfriends/bridesmaids that flew in from out of town and just so happened to stumble upon the Martina Liana trunk show that weekend. It worked out perfectly because I found the dress that fit my style and ordered it that day. I was initially also planning on checking out BHLDN as well for the cheaper, more simple dresses but after being at K&B I honestly did not feel like I needed to look further. One other nice thing about K&B is the Be More Inspired team they are apart of. After picking out the dress, Randie from Faye Daniel Designs jewelry came right down from her upstairs office to show some beautiful pieces to go perfectly with the dress. The whole process from trying on dresses to ordering to alterations was a breeze and the team here made me feel extremely welcomed and comfortable the entire time. Hope was excellent and pulled many dresses that fit what I was looking for - she walked me through and made me feel so important and like a BRIDE! I can't stress enough how they really do provide an overall great bridal experience. Also, besides the gowns, within their store front they have wedding planners, a florist, travel agent, jewelry maker, and they also offer gowns for mom and bridesmaids - it's incredible when looking for your one stop shop! From the moment my consultant, Kate, and I connected via zoom for my pre-appointment meeting, I immediately knew I made a great choice choosing K&B Bridals for my very first time wedding dress shopping. Kate and I instantly connected when we began discussing details about my fiancé and our engagement - her and I both had our engagement photos taken at Shenandoah National Park! Such a small world. Kate attentively asked me details about my wedding day such as venue, bridesmaids dress colors, floral colors, and the overall vibe I was trying to achieve on my wedding day. She explained that she would then pull dresses based on what she felt I would like most so I wouldn't have to search the racks on my own. I explained to Kate that I'm not a huge shopper and was feeling pretty uneasy about dress shopping. She assured me that I was in good hands with her and that she would do her best to alleviate any stress to make my experience nothing short of amazing. Fast forward two days to appointment day! I brought my mom, sister, and 2 best friends with me. We were kindly greeted and brought back to our private room where we received wine and bottled water. Kate had pulled about 7 dresses based on our zoom conversation. I was immediately drawn to one particular dress that ended up being the first I tried on and ultimately it was THE dress I chose! I wanted to add a little fabric belt to the dress, and Kate made it happen. I tried on about 8 dresses and with Kate's expertise, she was able to pull more dresses based on features I did or didn't like about the previous dresses. Kate was so friendly and patient with me, as well as kind, positive, honest, attentive, and professional. I couldn't have imagined working with a more helpful consultant. Not to mention.. many other consultants popped in to greet me and shower me with compliments. I truly felt so warmly welcomed and comfortable at K&B. Overall, this was probably one of the top 5 best days of my life. I felt nothing but pure euphoria from the moment I stepped into K&B, to the moment Kate jazzed up my dress with a beautiful cathedral veil (which I purchased on the spot as well). The dresses at K&B should earn it a 5 (I got my bridesmaids dress and my friend got her wedding gown here). During the dress selection process the people at K&B could not be nicer. Kris (sp), Mary (seamstress), Randie (accessories) are all AMAZING!!! Unfortunately, the rest of the staff at K&B is not great. Not organized, never ever after repeated corrections took the correct spelling of my name so every time I went my information couldn't be found, would walk away from the counter while I was waiting for information/payment/etc. come back talking to other customers and forgetting to finish up with me. Although I understand being busy, especially during the spring with wedding season approaching, this is not how a business should be staffed or managed and for the amount of money being spent on each dress and detail, I would have preferred to been treated with a little more care by all but the aforementioned employees. read more

After a TERRIBLE experience at David's Bridal in York, I had already previously made an appt at K&B and wanted to check out David's but I walked out of David's in tears because the sales people were so pushy and was I ever GLAD I kept the appt at K&B. I was so nervous going in because I didn't want another David's experience and I was greeted with warm smiles from the lady who ran the front desk and I had Chris help me with dresses. She asked me what I wanted which at the time was a fit and flare but she recommended trying on every style so we did, some of the dresses I ever wondered how lady's get in them with all the stuff they pack into the bottom of the dresses lol! I utimately went with the first one I tried on which was a beautiful Maggie dress that had actually come in the day and I was the first to try it on, it was meant to be! I'm also having my dress altered there as well by Susan who is awesome! I have had a pair of earrings made by Randie haven't seen them yet but can't wait to and my bridemaids have had their dresses ordered from there as well! It may cost a little more to go to a privately owned shop but it is worth it! read more

We stopped in here looking for a wedding gown. From the moment we walked in, all staff was warm and accommodating. They had a great selection of gowns of all shapes and styles. We even experienced them going above and beyond to help the bride see what a strapless gown would look like with straps. While we were there, an employee mistakenly thought a walk in was with another group, and when she left without being greeted, the owner realized what had happened and sent the employee after the person. That shows that she really care about customers and will go the extra mile to show you attention. This shop also has a second floor of wedding party gowns and a selection of prom appropriate gowns as well. On top of that there are wedding planning services to make sure your gown isn't the only perfect thing about your day. What a great experience. Very warm and intimate, not like some other larger bridal shops which will remain nameless, though you've all heard of them. Those feel more like a carmax for dresses, this is individual treatment, and the quality of the gowns you see here, make the other larger chain look like you're buying a dress from Target. I went to K&B reluctantly when I saw that there was the national sale in July thinking that I wouldn't find much within my budget. I spoke to Hope on the phone and she assured me I'd fine things within my budget-friendly range during this sale. I went up with my family and MOH, and all of the staff, Hope included, were so friendly and genuinely nice; I definitely feel at ease. I tried on a couple of dresses straight off the sales rack and ended up spending $400 for a dress, belt, veil, cleaning, and tax! Hope stayed true to her word and helped me find a great sample gown in my budget during this awesome sale. I came back a month later to pick it up after it returned from cleaning and Hope helped me try it on again, and I loved it even more! I was super pleased with my experience and felt so comfortable during the entire experience. Parking was street, but I got store front parking everytime and downtown Bel Air was real cute. The staff was amazing and really helpful when I was trying on dresses, purchasing, and all my fitting visits. Kate was my stylist and she was wonderful. She was honest and definitely didn't push me into buying something I didn't love. After I bought my dress I had no trouble getting it delivered or scheduling my fitting appointments. Susan did my alterations and she was amazing. My dress was tricky to alter, but she did a perfect job. I got my wedding dress here back in 2012. A beautiful lace number with a sweetheart neckline. It was $1200, which I'd say was about midrange among the other dresses in the store. Here's what I absolutely loved about this place: 1. Attendants are warm and knowledgeable. 2. I was there for an hour, during which I had 110% of their attention. 3. I fell in love with a strapless dress, but thought I wanted sleeves. The seamstress explained with confidence and enthusiasm that she could sew a pair that could attach and reattach at my discretion. She listened intently to my vision and gracefully interjected with her own professional opinions. The final result was amazing and just what I'd wanted. 4. At one point I said, " this dress would look amazing with a belt or sash at the waist." I was addressing my mom, but seconds later, my attendant was tying something silky around me, beaming. And I loved it. 5. The dress came in 2 weeks earlier than the estimated time. 6. It was tailored to perfection. The seamstress was professional, competent, and kind. She took great care in her work on my dress. From start to finish, it felt like the endeavor of buying my wedding dress was as important to the staff as it was to me. And you can't put a price tag on that. I'm so grateful to recall the experience, two years later, with such fondness. Thanks, K&B! read more

I went in looking for a wedding dress; although I didn't find "the one" I was more then pleased with the customer service! The place was very cozy, clean, and I loved the privacy. Lauren was our stylist, and she was great! She wasn't over opinionated, and wasn't pushy at all. She really listened, and was so helpful. I had my three year old daughter with me, and it wasn't a problem. She was so patient and kind to her. I was disappointed I didn't find my dress there, because I would've really have loved to have bought it from them. I would recommend this place to anyone! I can only speak for the groom side of the house, but I have nothing great to say about this place other than some of the women who work here are nice people. They definitely cater more to the brides side and the groomsman are just an after thought. Absolutely no attention to detail. All 6 groomsman suits need to be completely reordered the week of the wedding because the measurements were rushed and done in the lobby next to the cash register. They were supposed to overnight my second suit after the second fitting, but instead ordered it regular mail (arriving the day after the wedding). This place caused the groom and his groomsman a lot of un-needed extra stress. I'll end this post with my favorite quote from the staff, "These are just rental suits. The service here is really attentive and wonderful. When I tried on dresses I think every employee came in during the process to "ooo" and "ahh" at me, which really made me feel great. My mother and bridesmaid were served a glass of champagne each and given a free cake sample from their wedding cake business that they are affiliated with. The only reason I DIDN'T get my dress from here was because they did not carry the designer I was ultimately looking for, otherwise I would have said yes to the dress! I plan on coming back for bridesmaid gowns and accessories. This was the second shop I went too. When we walked in we were greeted, offered refreshments and overall it was nice. This shop is great if your looking for dresses that have a ton of lace and beading. I found that the dressing room to change into the dress was small. I had the sales lady come in with me and she would get the dress off the hanger and unzip it. I had to help myself into it. At another shop the sales lady held the dress for me and helped me find my way through the dress. I don't know if it was the owner who kept interrupting my appointment or another sales lady but she kept bringing in dresses that were not the style I was looking for at all and seemed very pushy with each dress. i originally made an appointment for bridesmaid dresses but decided to cancel and go to the shop I ended up buying my dress from. Would I recommend this shop to friends no I would not. read more

I've been a bridesmaid in 2 bridal parties that have used K&b Bridal and 2 that used Amanda Ritchie Bridal. The bridesmaids dresses are about $10-$15 cheaper at K &b but imo its worth it to go to Amanda's for the better experience. Even though K&b is by appointment only the service is very slow and hit or miss. The seamstresses and salespeople are nice, but they seem clueless and stressed out. I also think they treat brides with different budgets differently. One of my friends had a lot higher of a budget and we were taken on a tour and given wine and shown a lot of attention. The bride was put in her dresses and shown accessories to go with her dress and a jewlery lady showed her different pieces she could wear and everyone in the store came and introduced themselves. The other time I was there with another bride with a lower budget and we had to wait for our appointment , we had to ask for water when we got thirsty, the same jewlery lady ignored us and talked to her friend in the lobby, we had to put the bride in all of the dresses ourselves and she was told they didnt have straps to show her for a strapless gown when I knew they did. They also ignored her budget when they picked out dresses for her and it upset my friends mother so much she made us all leave. Also all the dresses are dirty on the bottoms from the floors, and the dressing rooms and bathroom are just not real clean. It's not nearly as bad as David's Bridal but its not that much better. Amanda Ritchie's is clean and organized and everyone there makes it fun and they really try to make the bride feel special. read more

I have no critique on the selection of wedding dresses etc. what I have a problem with is the blatant refusal to take into consideration the opinion of the customer when it comes to being fitted for bridesmaids gown. A dress that my daughter tried on fit perfectly! We repeatedly requested to order the size that she tried on. They refused. They ordered a size bigger stating "the demo dresses stretch". The material this dress was made from IS NOT stretchy. They dress came in and of course it's way too big. With a big smile the employee said "no problem, our seamstress can fix it". The dress was $190 and the alteration JUST for the sides were $110.... Not including the hem, straps and cups. Mind you, one size smaller like we asked for needed NOTHING except a hem. Of course the wedding is in 3 1/2 weeks and since it took 3 months to come in, reordering is not an option. I have learned that the rest of the bridal party is experiencing the same exact thing!! I'm PROFOUNDLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! read more

I ordered a dress that I loved a few months ago for my upcoming October wedding. When I went to pick it up and try it on for the first time, it didn't fit as I had hoped, and I felt really terrible in the dress. After crying for a few minutes and being really upset (at my inability to lose weight like I had hoped), the shop owner was so helpful in helping me find a new dress. I found one I love and bought it off the rack! I now have two beautiful dresses from this shop, and while not ideal to have two dresses, I plan on wearing one or both for my wedding. I was just so extremely impressed with how they cared so much about how I felt in the dress. I live in PA, and at first wasn't sure I would have my alterations done in MD, but after they really helped me find a new dress, I will happily drive back to Maryland as many times as needed for alterations. I can't recommend them or their store highly enough. The whole experience has been amazing so far, and I highly recommend them!! read more
