What a fun, comfortable, and totally professional experience! Our driver showed up at exactly when scheduled, and man oh man did he show up in style. We were greeted to a magnificent 38 passenger Party Bus that seemed more like someone's living room than a means of transportation. It had super plush leather seats on the sides of the bus, a kickass sound system, a bar with beers and White Claws, and a restroom! The driver was a very cool guy who we enjoyed chatting with. And when the clock struck midnight and it was time to head back to the hotel, he was right there, and we left as scheduled. He was an excellent driver and handled that huge piece of transportation on the crazy Long Island roads like the pro he was. A definite five-star All Star performance.

Came into venue looking for a gratuity. Guests were waiting for the next pick up at scheduled time and the driver never showed. Our guests had to order Ubers to the venue. Because of this our ceremony had to delayed. This was booked with Ally Eifert the company wedding coordinator. After trying to reach her several times after the weekend she kept putting my call to voicemail. Beware !! This company is very unprofessional. Now I know why they only take cash or check .

I booked with Beach Limo which i I am assuming is their sister company because ever since the day of this mess I have been speaking with Diane from that office who has been nothing but kind and helpful. Day of the wedding sprinter shows up 8 people could barely fit into this sprinter van leaving the rest of my guest stuck less than an hour before ceremony. I reached out after the wedding to express my disappointment.. all emails went unanswered for weeks and when calling every number i have called from has been blocked . Chris & Joelle are probably the most unprofessional people I have ever met. Do your self a favor stay far far away from this company. How this company is still in business is beyond me.

After hanging up I called several other local drivers and Silver Star was the best quote. I called back the next day and spoke to Jack to confirm the ride. He was helpful and cordial in taking my information and walking me through the payment process. All good, right? Nope... Once they had me locked in (the ride's departure time was only several hours away at this point), they called back and said they could not honor the amount we agreed upon and that I paid for. I can fully understand that a mistake on a quote was made and that a quote can be rectified in certain situations but once the price has been agreed upon and I have provided my payment information, that should be it, right? Who knows? Maybe this mistake is a one-off situation in otherwise stellar customer service but if they are willing to say "I don't have time to continue this conversation. On the return however that turned out not to be the case. Now they had it scheduled and they sent a text via phone message. I had direct contact with the driver who was to pick us up. I texted and sent pix. After landing, getting luggage and then out to pick up area it took some time, this also included the delay in flight time which they were aware of. There was direct contact here, so when we got there we were told verbally and by text that the driver had car trouble and had to go home. I get it. Things happen, particularly when the driver needs to address his vehicle. Here's the BUT- He did not call the company to explain his delay or delma, nor did he contact us. A 30 second or less communication could have alerted both Tran-Star and us that he was delayed or unable to take the fare and another would have been scheduled and then met us, to then tell them when he'd be available again. I called Tran-Star, not pleased and they sent another driver of who as it turned out was the same gentleman who had taken us. It was an added wait and an upset that I did not need. This said the weather had held and it was nice out and overall we did safely get driven home and I am grateful for the important things. I find it especially interesting, while you wait on hold, and you hear their speal promoting themselves as the best and most efficient to get you where you are going! They did give me a % discount, (that I did not ask for) I did however ask to be sure that the driver who came should get the fee and included tip accordingly. It took too many iterations to make the schedule match what we communicated, despite discussing it verbally and following up with clear emails. After fixing their documents and sending them back, I still felt the need to check in twice before the wedding to make sure the schedule meant what I had communicated. On the day of the event, they went to the wrong hotel with one bus because they typed the wrong town into their system. But the most annoying part, was their refusal to take responsibility. Instead Alan seemed to need to convince himself that the blame was fully on us, despite none of our communications mentioning the incorrect location. However, they did credit us back half the cost of the bus that went to the incorrect location, and most of the team was very pleasant to work with.

The pick ups were late night but the driver texted me and arrived within minutes of my letting him know I was ready. This last time was a trip with three other people and with quite a few pieces of luggage. This was the first time Doug was the driver, he was at my house on time and in a very nice, spacious van. After getting all our luggage stowed, off we went. The ride to JFK was smooth and uneventful as expected! However the pickup was memorable. There were only 3 of us on the return so a few less pieces of luggage. Doug arrived on time and in a very nice, comfortable SUV One of my companions mentioned she liked Doug's choice of music which was Elvis. Well for the rest of the trip it was one Elvis song after another with a few Sinatra & Tom Jones mixed in.
