We chose Camelot Limo after seeing them listed as one of the house vendors for our wedding venue, as well as our hotel's suggested transportation company. Although we didn't do much shopping for a limo company, we felt very comfortable working with Camelot Limo and having them supply us with our wedding day transportation because of the recommendations we received. We worked with Joe P. on our contract details and he was very cordial and professional on the day we visited their office to recruit their services. He informed us of our options and laid out what was available to us. Ultimately, we got a contract signed very quickly with the limosine of our choosing and a price point, which was very reasonable, that we were satisfied with. On the day of our wedding, our limo was right on time waiting outside our hotel at 9:00am. The limo driver, Jones, came to pick up myself and my groomsmen first, dropped us off at our wedding venue and immediately went back to pick up my wife and her bridesmaids. We had no issues with him what so ever and I didn't hear a peep from my wife either. The ride to the venue was very smooth. The same could be said about our ride back to our hotel as well. We were actually upgraded to a limo, free of charge, and didn't encounter any issues either. Both of our drivers on our wedding day were very professional. My husband and I flew to NYC recently for a quick trip. It was our first time there and we'd booked Camelot for airport transfers and a car for the day on Saturday since it was all unfamiliar. Thank goodness we had them. They told us everything we needed to know about expected travel times and got us where we needed to be. I never felt rushed. They communicated multiple times, putting this anxious traveler at ease. Our driver, who has kids about the same age as ours, even recommended some great souvenirs to take back. It was a celebration weekend and we had VIP service from the airport. Amazing! Beautiful Rolls Royce and lovely refreshments. What a welcome to the city!! The car on Saturday was wonderful. From Manhattan, we made it to Brooklyn, to the WTC, Bryant Park and a couple of restaurant stops in an afternoon. The traffic was nuts but the driver was in control. I never once felt unsafe. The person who answered the phone was incredibly rude. They could not be bothered with what I needed or my arrangements. Made it feel like an inconvenience??? I honestly rather give my money to uber or yellow cab at this point. The last time I used this company when I was in town, that was not the case. The woman on the phone was so helpful, kind and sweet. The energy that came out of the other side of the phone today was foul. I asked to speak with the owner and he said he was the owner, which I found very hard to believe. If that's the case, he's shooting himself in the foot. Beware!!!! Camelot came highly recommended for our wedding this summer, and everything started off great while booking. The day of the wedding in July the classic car broke down and was unable to drive my wife and in-laws to church, and the AC on the party bus was not working. We also saw this exact same thing happened the next week with a different couple so there was clearly no effort to remedy these issues. We asked for a refund for the cost of the car, and after weeks of back and forth I was told it would take 60 days for them to send me a check. 60 days later when I did not receive a check I called and they claimed to have mailed it. Eventually had to go myself to the office to pick up a check. Not a single apology for the car breaking down, no AC or making me drive to get the check. Just a simple "here ya go". By far the worst limo company in NY. This review is in regards to a limo rental on 9/4/21. The Rolls Royce arrived at my house on time but on our way to pick up my wife I had to tell the driver turn by turn directions how to get to her house even tho they had the schedule along with addresses at the time of booking. Once we left from the church to Planting Fields Arboretum to take pictures is where this Limo company truly showed how incompetent they are. The driver swerved into oncoming traffic at a roundabout at the end of the Bethpage state parkway so that he would not have to do another round because he almost missed our exit. Then closer to Planting Fields there was a closed street due to LIPA working on a street which should not be a big deal to re route because we were near a major road(Oyster Bay Rd). Boy was I wrong. The driver proceeded to drive into 2 dead end streets to try to re route and then park up for 10 minutes while calling a colleague to tell him he did not know how to get to Planting Fields. I had to pull up the gps on my phone and give this guy turn by turn directions again. We finally arrived at Planting Fields 30 minutes late into a 2 hour time slot that we booked to take wedding photos. An uber ride would of been faster and easier than hiring this company. The owner of this company was notified by our party bus driver and that he would "make it right". I had to call the owner Alan myself 2 days later and explain the situation. The owner(Alan) proceeded to prove how incompetent he and his company are by at first stating we would get a refund for the Limo and hung up on me. But then a day later called back to say that he would not issue a refund and accused me of trying to get a free limo ride on him. He also stated he looked at the gps and camera footage and did not see anything weird. I said I would like to look at the gps and camera footage so I can point out what he missed. He then said I was being confrontational and hung up. 0/10 stars I do not recommend them and will be telling every single person getting married that I know to stay away from this company. Long overdue review. 9/22/18 booked them for my wedding at the Cradle of Aviation in Garden City. We were at the Marriott. (It's literally across a busy street from one another). We used a stretch limo to bring my party and our guests across as a shuttle. That was done very well. At the end of the night a bus was supposed to come and shuttle for 3 hours. By the time I went outside the shuttle should have already been running for almost 2 hours. There was no bus just a confused man in a black truck. He was friendly but thought he was just taking me and my husband. My husband spoke to him about how there should be a shuttle. The man called the office and was told another truck should be there. He went with my husband looking and found another chauffeur in a different parking lot, lights off asleep in the backseat. I called the office and the woman told me she tried to called the venue. Well I was the point of contact and no one called me. The venue is non traditional and wouldn't be listed. So last hour of my wedding was spent trying to figure that out and telling people to use the trucks. I found out many of my guests had already ubered back to the hotel. They sent a towncar for my husband and I. The owner did call us a few days later but we were on honeymoon. We paid cash upfront. Avoid it. This headache was poor communication and bad service. Was never informed that my party bus was being switched let alone that it would be another company! As well as my Rolls Royce was another one. I booked and signed a contract for a 39 passenger bus WITH a bathroom...the one in the expos, we saw it twice, even saw it when we signed the contract to receive a 37 passenger bus with a POLE in the middle! I booked a beautiful classy bus and I got an upgraded version of a school bus!!! I am beyond disappointed and Joe just brought me to another level of disappointment and frustration. What should've been the simplest thing turned out to be the worst part of my day!! Upon speaking with Joe I got nowhere except a "free ride" to anywhere of my choosing, which u declined. Horrible experience. If I could give zero stars I would. Save your money; you can get better service from a yellow cab. The driver was rude and harassed me in from of my guest for a tip. Even uber has a better system to request tips for their drivers but harassing your customers for a tip is unacceptable. I have a tip for the company, perhaps follow-up with an email, text or call to inquire how the service went and ask if the customer would like to leave a tip if one was.not given the day the service was provided or ask the customer during booking if they would like to include gratuity to the bill. I just wanted to thank Nicole and Camelot Limo for making my son's birthday party so special! This was truly a highlight of the day! The limo bus was spectacular, equipped with a huge tv screen, a dvd player where we could even have a movie playing in the background, blue tooth where my son was able to play his Spotify music through the speakers, beautiful colored lights throughout, leather couches, bottled water, cups and napkins (and a bathroom)! In all my life, I had never been in such a luxurious vehicle! I felt like a VIP, a movie star, and this was such a treat for all of us! And the fact that we were able to have the limo bus enabled us to be at less than 50% capacity, which helped us feel safe during these times! I cannot say enough good things about our driver, Mo. He was professional, courteous, friendly, and even helped me with my little girl who has a physical disability! He arrived early and was right there waiting for us when we came out. My husband and I used Camelot for our wedding and had such a great experience. We received texts from our driver a couple of days in advance with his name and contact number. The bus arrived on time and was clean and comfortable. Music and heat/AC both worked just fine. The driver, Dennis was an absolute sweetheart. He always made sure I was covered with an umbrella from the rain. Walked me up the steps of the church and made sure none of the girls slipped in their heels. Fluffed out my veil and dress at the entrance to the church before I walked down the aisle, and was just an overall pleasant person to spend the day with. We contracted with Joe at Camelot for a 37 seat limo-bus because we wanted to keep our large Bridal Party together and be comfortable on a hot summer day. We ended up with the opposite of that. The morning of the wedding, we received a call from Camelot saying the bus we paid for was out of service (a typical theme; read the other reviews, especially the hidden ones!) and they were sending two stretch SUVs in its place. At first, we felt it was our bad luck, but now I feel like it was a "bait & switch" scam. Conveniently, they happened to have two vehicles that just happened to be available that day. I get the feeling they either double booked the bus and we got stuck with their leftovers, or they decided to do work on the bus that day because they had other vehicles sitting around. The substituted limo, the one I got stuck in, the a/c did not work well, the window in the passenger area did not open and the driver kept making wrong turns. The poor Flower Girl got overheated and was ill the rest of the wedding. The driver passed a turn and made a U-turn on Montauk Highway. It took him many tries to complete the turn; with cars approaching the broadside of the limo in both directions! Visions of the vineyard limo tragedy!! Camelot insisted that they be paid in full the week before and have not offered any refund, as we requested, for the difference in the price of the vehicles and the unacceptable condition of their limo. read more

Do not book with Camelot unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure of your travel plans, you will have no recourse to recoup any money you pay them once you allow them access to your credit card account. I made a reservation with Camelot Limos for airport transportation to LGA from Long Island a full two months in advance. Upon receiving their contract later in the day, I was uncomfortable with their "cancellation policy" because it truly offered no opportunity to recoup your payment no matter how far in advance you might need to cancel. Here's their wording directly from their emailed contract: "Cancellations are not valid over the phone. They must be in writing and signed by the person on the contract, and they must be hand delivered, mailed, faxed, or a scanned signed copy emailed to Camelot Limos. If you cancel this contract at any time you are required to pay the entire remaining balance stated in the contract to Camelot Specialty Limos, Inc. There are no refunds for canceled jobs, and/or cancellations due to inclement weather and/or acts of God." After I made the phone reservation and was awaiting the contract/written CC authorization, they charged my card IMMEDIATELY without waiting for me to sign the contract/authorization. Upon learning of their lack of cancellation policy I called and emailed multiple times the following day to make clear I would not be signing the contract and would expect the inappropriate charge (nearly $200) be returned immediately. Camelot ducked me for a few days and finally connected me to their owner who begrudgingly agreed to return the credit. Two days later I received a PARTIAL refund but not the entire amount, which then forced me to enter a formal credit card dispute. It was clear the return credit difference was punitive and frankly, petty. This was all COMPLETELY unnecessary. I've used Camelot before and would have used them again had they not made an issue of this and simply offered a normal cancellation policy. Calls to at least three of their highly rated LI competitors assured me that they would absolutely not charge me for a cancellation within a stated time period, for most only 24 hours. DO NOT book with Camelot unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure of your plans, you will have no recourse to recoup any money you pay them once you allow them access to your credit card account. read more

I found Camelot Limos after researching for weeks to find a good limo company for a reasonable price. When finding quotes their response team was very time efficient and helpful. I booked a 26 seater party bus for prom and the bus driver arrived before schedule, was very sweet, and accommodated everything we requested or asked for. I do have vertigo so I was very nervous but our driver Miguel drove so smoothly I didn't not get nauseous whatsoever. Book this company and definitely request Miguel if you can! All was fine till we had to deal with the owners. Owners are liars that accuse the customer of doing things that they never did. Not people you want to do business with! The one star is based on interactions with the owners, not about the transportation. For our wedding day we had booked a party bus and an SUV limo from them because of a recommendation we had. On our wedding day we had the unfortunate luck of our coach bus, which was not chartered via Camelot, carrying close family and guests break down. We asked the party bus to reroute to save our guests after dropping the passengers at the church. We were so happy and knew we would incur an extra fee for overtime. So happy that we tipped the driver extra for doing what he did after getting a phone call stating we went over and to sign a receipt acknowledging the extra $300. It was fine. The problem came two days later when we were ready to go on our honey moon when I went on my Bank account to see what damages I had after my wedding weekend. I was shocked because I saw an extra $200 charge on my card from Camelot. I asked my wife if she knew about it and we both thought it was a mistake. So we called Camelot to straighten this all out. We were told we would get a call back. One of the owners, Joe, called us back stating that this charge was a charge because the driver of the SUV holding my wife stated that "the bride refused to exit the vehicle." I spoke with my wife who said she never had any interaction with the driver. We tried telling Joe this but said there was nothing he can do, most he could do is offer a free pickup from JFK. This, in our opinion, was not worth $200. We kept trying to tell him that no one from his company told us this, that if that was the case, my wife could have stayed in a room at the church where we wouldnt have been charged $200. We thought they were doing us a courtesy given the situation. We told him that the driver should have told us we were going into overtime if that was the case, in which his response was "Im sorry I didnt have my driver drag your bride out of the car." He then proceeded to tell us we should know what pickup and drop-off meant, then he went and started blaming our wedding coordinator who he did prior business with and was raving about her before hand. Basically, he blamed everyone except his own driver who he basically told us confirmed or story. By the way, all this is on a "recorded line" which they dont use for quality assurance but rather to tout that they are going to use it "against you". We tried to tell him that this was really unfair in which he started insinuating that we were just trying to get all our money back. We paid thousands of dollars and only asked for $200 that we felt we were u justly charged for. Joe then hung up after he made clear we werent getting our money back. He then called our wedding coordinator and cursed her out. Mind you, the wedding coordinator was the best investment we had that day. She tried working with Joe to support our story since they had some sort of business history. She even offered to pay us out of her own pocket because she was shocked how Joe treated us. Before you book with them please check all their responses to negative comments and the BBB complaints. Joe went as far as saying he would have to call lawyers if we practiced or first amendment rights. The other owner also had the guts to write a response on the BBB that read the following: " ...but then why did you use a wedding planner; most women plan their own wedding."... what? How insulting! He also went as far as lying saying that they called me before they went into overtime and said it was ok "on their recorded line". I checked my phone records, I made no phone call to camelot from the time the party bus picked us up till that following day when I called to question the charges. Look, unfortunately vendors take advantage of the word "wedding" and charge an insane amount and know you will pay it. The problem is when the vendor starts getting greedy and rude. This whole thing could have been dealt with amicably, but the owners took this to a whole other level. They even went as far as asking "whats $200 to you?". Again, the limo came and left as they were supposed to. The problem is when you have an issue with something, there are better people to deal with in such situations. I literally called them a few hours before the prom ended and they were able to get us a car (which was brand new and gorgeous!) and a driver (who was super nice) right away. I am so impressed. This company was recommended by a friend so I called the office they were extremely helpful over the phone and in short notice (4 days) were able to get us in a transit van which was converted to a really comfy sheek classy party bus. We had a group of 4 couples g oimg out for my wife's 40th and even though 2 of us are very large we had plenty of room....dimmed the lights had music going and full bar for our long ride to Brooklyn. Horrible horrible customer service. I got married this weekend. We needed two limos, one for my family and one for my husband's side. The driver was so damn pushy and rude, during my husband's (the groom) family photos he went up to him and said that there was an emergency and that he needed to speak with him right away. The emergency was that the driver had to tell him that there was going to be an overtime charge because the family was running late. After my husband agreed and signed the form he still kept rushing. When they arrived at the venue, this idiot had the audacity to go up to my husband and ask him -- while he is with his family-- if there was going to be a tip for the drivers. This year, I worked with Camelot Limos on two separate occasions for two separate reasons and in both cases I was completely satisfied with my experience. In the first instance, 18 members of my family organized an evening in New York City to see a Broadway show, and in the other instance, my wife and I used Camelot for our wedding. Considering the price, quality of service, and staff, I would definitely choose to use Camelot again. In the first case (our family trip into NYC), the company was kind enough to arrange for multiple stops (two separate house pickups and drop-offs) and accommodated all of us in one superstretch limo. Our driver, Anthony, was professional, courteous and attentive to everyone. He dropped us off very close to our show in Times Square and gave us his card to text or call him when we were ready to be picked up. When our show was over, he picked us up right at the front doors (we felt like VIPs, especially since people took pictures thinking we were celebrities from the show) and drove us home. The ride was comfortable and the entire experience was pleasant. And again, the team really did right by us in terms of price. In the second case (my wedding), we worked with two separate drivers: Kyle (who transported our bridal party for all the pre-reception events) and Len (who drove my wife and me to our hotel at the end of the night). Kyle and Len were both amazing! They both (like Anthony) were professional, courteous and attentive. I never got anything less than a smile and warm greeting from them. Len, I would add, was actually charming, offering some philosophy and warm words of congratulations as he drove my wife and me in our town car to our hotel. As far as the limos are concerned, Camelot really seems to have a wide range of options, and all three limos I traveled in were clean and comfortable (what more could you ask for really?). Plus, it really seemed like our three drivers were really focused on safety. You sometimes read something like "safety is our first priority" when it comes to transportation companies, but I really have the impression that Camelot takes it seriously. I often focus on the road when in a car simply because I'm prone to car sickness, and I could tell that Anthony, Kyle and Len were all being very safe when driving us, never feeling rushed or taking risks on the road. Thanks to the entire staff and especially our drivers for creating a great series of experiences for my family and me! I'm sure we'll all be considering Camelot again for our future needs. read more

I'm sad to say I used this company for my wedding in May 2018. All the women I spoke to prior to the event were kind and seemed helpful, but it wasn't until my event had a serious problem and I called after the event that I had the unfortunate experience of speaking with the owner Joe. Prior to my wedding, I spoke with this company at least 3 separate times. I asked if I should get two separate shuttles because of the amount of people I needed to be transported. They told me a single 55 passenger coach would be better, but that I would have to rent it for 9 consecutive hours. We discussed the two pick up hotels, but potentially 3 drop off hotels, and the times we would be telling everyone the shuttles would come. I did everything based off of their recommendation, because they are the professional car service. The day of the wedding comes, event starts at 730 (I thought I had left PLENTY of buffer time). Driver arrives on time at 6, but the times I had discussed with the women at Camelot were 640 and 655. Bus loads early, and several of my friends told me the driver was on the phone from 640-650 and then left 10 minutes late. He proceeds to make the drop off at the venue, which is 8 minutes away. He returns at 720. Took him 30 mins to make a 16 minute trip + unload. Next bus boards by 725. He then proceeds to make a stop at the third hotel, which was not at all on the list to stop. In fact, I even have a confirmation page that says "D/O at Red Roof", and it is not listed under the "P/U" section. He stops at the hotel, gets out of the shuttle for more than 5 minutes, and then decides no one is waiting there, and proceeds to drop of more than 40 people close to 740. Those people all missed my beautiful wife walk out (obviously one of the biggest moments of her life), had to STAND in the back of our ceremony, made a ruckus upon entering late, and were all very disappointed with the driver. I heard separate stories from more than 10 people about their dissatisfaction with the service that day. I called and began politely talking to Joe. I am a very patient person, and do not get upset very often. Joe had me yelling and screaming by the end of the phone call because of his rudeness and ineptitude. He continually interrupted me, and could clearly not see my point. He accused me of being someone that just wants to get his money back after receiving the service. He continually referred to his magical "confimation sheet", which clearly does not match the one his company sent me. So basically they just wrote in whatever they wanted on it. He believes his service is just to pick the people up and drop the people off. You, the customer and likely the only wedding you will ever plan in your life, are responsible to create the times, know how long it takes to board and deboard, and also stay on top of the driver. Camelot, the "professional car service", is in no way responsible for the timing of a WEDDING, can't plan how long people will take to get on/off the shuttle, and only can make a mistake if their car breaks down or they go to the wrong place (which they did). Not only did they make a mistake with the wrong hotel, but they also messed up the entire planning process. Furthermore, the driver was slow and unwitting. Joe seems to think this is all alright, that his company didn't do anything wrong. Much worse, he felt no remorse for stripping my wife of one of the biggest moments of her life. He takes your money upfront, so he can do whatever after the fact. After reading all the reviews about this company, this is clearly a trend. When things go well, everything is fine. But as soon as someone has an issue and they have to deal with Joe, the results are horrible. I wish I had ordered UBERS for all my guests, would have not only saved me money, but all my guests would've arrived in time to enjoy the refreshments we provided starting at 7. Please, please, please, do not use this company. And if you do, please meticulously plan it yourself, because if something goes wrong, Joe is unreasonable and already has your money. We were hesitant about booking Camelot Limos because of their mixed reviews online, but decided to give them a chance. We booked a party bus, a sprinter, a specialty car, and two vans for drop off at the end of the night for our wedding in September 2018. We were offered a complimentary cab for our honeymoon, but decided to use it for the night of our wedding to transport us to a hotel we were staying at. We built in plenty of extra time for travel on our itinerary in case of traffic. We are thankful we did because the party bus arrived late (about 10 mins) and the specialty car driver was unsure of the route (he kept asking the bride if he was going the right way because he had no idea where he was, which was discomforting). We had issues with the party bus and complimentary car at the end of the night. One of our guests found a live cockroach near the cooler towards the front of the party bus. He killed it and thankfully did not alert the other guests until after we arrived at the venue. I told the company about the infestation a few days later so hopefully it has been addressed by now. Our wedding ended at 1:30am. The vans to transport our immediate families arrived at 2:00am. The cab to take us to the hotel never showed. We called the company's 24-hour phone number and did not get through. We left a voicemail and never heard from anyone. We ended up taking an uber to our hotel. We told the company about this issue when we called about the cockroach. They apologized and offered to honor the complimentary cab ride for our honeymoon. We politely declined, not wanting to be left high and dry by them again in the future. Aside from these issues, the staff members were friendly and easy to work with. read more

My sister's wedding was 4/13/19. Our Party Bus was not properly cleaned as 2 of the bridesmaid's dresses were ruined by dirt on the seats! We scrambled to try and get them cleaned as we were on the way to the CHURCH and of course, we couldn't. We called on Monday morning and they had to audacity to ask why we didn't call at that time... Seriously? we were in the middle of a WEDDING! Then they said they would have someone call us back and to this day on April 22nd, NO ONE has called back. No apology, no sense of remorse or customer service by any one there. Save the headache and use someone else! I've been in the hospitality industry for over 18 years and i'd be embarrassed that this is how they treat customers. read more

I used Camelot for my daughters prom. From the beginning they were very nice and helpful. We required a party bus and it the kids had a amazing time. The bus was clean and safe and the driver Duane was the best . At the beginning before the evening started he went over the guidelines and behavior expected for the passengers and maintained communication about eta through the night. My husband and I were celebrating our 6th year wedding anniversary and we were going out with the family. We didn't want to worry about drinking and driving, and my cousin had just booked Camelot for her wedding. We called them on Monday night for our event which was on (Black) Friday and Nancy was great! She was able to accommodate us on short notice and we had a wonderful time!!!! The driver was great and the Mercedes Sprinter was so nice.. We had an amazing night!!! We just want to thank Nancy and Camelot for such wonderful service!!! read more
