Queens Alterations definitely specializes in complex alterations, like wedding gowns and formal…read moregowns, and they really do a great job with those, as you can see from all the reviews. For simpler alterations like a hem adjustment, darts in tops, etc., you may be able to get a more affordable alteration elsewhere. The staff is very helpful in figuring out exactly what types of alterations are needed to ensure a great overall fit, and for gowns and dresses, that expertise is a definitely added value to the service. I'll still recommend Queens to those looking to get gowns or other complicated garments adjusted!

Normally I'm not one to write reviews, but since your wedding day is your one day - I needed to…read moreshare. after paying an astronomical price to get my dress lined & altered - this was the result of my wedding dress. My bridesmaids had to try to stick their hand up the dress to fix the lining, with ultimately this being the product. Would I have loved to take off the dress and try to alter it somehow? Yes - but the back clasp broke while putting it on leading to my sister, SIL, & MIL quite literally using fishing wire to sew me into the dress. So by the time it was noticed, I was more worried about the dress physically staying on. I was relatively new to Atlanta & had gotten my dress at Bridals By Lori's - this was suggested & I went with it. The whole process felt rushed, there was parts I still wasn't completely sold on but they told me thats how the wedding dress was supposed to feel / it was supposed to be put on that high. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. It's all I notice now in photos & paid a ridiculous price for it.
