I think this may be the only Filipino place in Esco. I'm so glad I found them. I ordered a tray of palabok half order SAME DAY! They were able to fulfill my order when other viet restaurants would not. When I arrived I was amazed at the sisig, diniguan and Filipino spaghetti they had out. They have so much to offer and I can't wait to try more. The sisig was one of the bests I've had.

Came here on a Saturday morning. Restaurant is located in a strip mall so there's a lot of parking. Although they open early, I would suggest to get here after 10:30am so there's more selections. Food: 2 Item Combo Pork Sinigang Chicharon Pancit Tocino and longanisa with rice BBQ stick The chicharon was the highlight for me. The pork sinigang tasted good but the meat was hmmm tough and maybe previously frozen hard, cooked, then chilled again. But, again the soup was delicious. The tocino was also delicious however the longanisa to me is a hot dog. I had ask again what that meat was and they said longanisa. Had to also ask what dialect or where in the Philippines is the style of cooking is from and one of the workers said Ilocano. So, I'm Ilocano and the Ilocano longenisa I know is with vinegar flavor and not like a hot dog. Oh well. The suman was equally as good too. Service was great and there's a little market for some Asian items. I will definitely return to try the other dishes.

Great food choices, really flexible with catering. It is hard to locate, and parking isn't the best; but their food tastes good and they're the only Filipino place in Escondido and I like that I don't have to drive all the way south just to satisfy my Filipino food cravings, especially if I don't want to cook.

Does anyone know if you can order 100 pieces lumpia same day?

I just did yesterday for pick up today. Im pretty sure you can as long as you give them some time to fry them up. Never tried this place before but my "go to" was out of lumpia (never heard that before either...) so I'm willing to give K &K a try!

I also loved how saucy they were, although I felt they could've used a tad more seasoning. Thankfully, they have condiments up front, so I just added some fish sauce. Their pancit was also very good. I also got to try the curry empanada, although it was a little dry and didn't have much flavor. Their laing (coconut taro leaves) was bomb--so rich and flavorful. So good with white rice. My husband also enjoyed the lumpia's. Service was nice and friendly. I was excited to see they sold Betapac Curry Powder for under $4. I can't wait to make my own Jamaican curry at home with it! There's plenty of indoor seating, along with some outdoor seating, and lots of parking. Looking forward to coming back to try more of their dishes.

Also got the sinigang, lechon kawali, pinakbet, beef caldereta, and a jar of pickled papaya & carrots which was soooo goood. Everything was good and super reasonably priced. The Auntie serving me was super sweet and actually hella fast too IYKYK. The space is not too big not too small... just right and nice for a quick sit down to eat. R&B FILIPINO CUISINE @ MIRA MESA…read more Parking was super easy since there's parking available right out front, and there were plenty of spots when I came on a Friday evening after work. Just note that they close pretty early, around 5:30 PM on weekdays and 4 PM on weekends, so definitely plan ahead if you're trying to make it there later in the day. The restaurant is located in a busier area with other restaurants and businesses nearby, but once you walk in, it has a really chill and welcoming vibe. They have a bunch of Filipino snacks and items displayed on the side, and the whole place feels very authentic and homey. The setup reminded me a little of places like Chipotle or Panda Express where you move down the line and choose what you want on your plate. I got plain white rice as my base, but you can also get pancit, which are glass noodles with veggies, for a small extra charge depending on the plate size. For my sides, I got the crispy pork sisig and lumpia rolls, which are thin crispy Filipino egg rolls. For two sides and one base, it came out to around $16, and they loaded the plate with so much food that it easily became two meals. My boyfriend got the spicy squid along with a pork and liver dish, and everything was super flavorful. Overall, I'd highly recommend stopping by here if you want authentic Filipino food that feels homemade and comforting. My boyfriend is Filipino and even he said it tasted really good, which definitely says a lot. The portions are huge, the food is flavorful, and the whole place really gives that classic mom-and-pop shop feel.

I ordered the beef salpicao which I had never tried before and it was amazing. The beef was tender and juicy with rich flavor. The flavor was delicious and it wasn't too salty. I also tried the lychee beer which was super delicious and did not taste beer-like or alcoholic at all. It was more like a sweet treat to enjoy. This restaurant is tucked away. There's the regular items such as Kare Kare, Sunnyside Eggs, Garlic Rice and Rice. I tried the Jeprox and champarado and I was not a fan. It's just me as I did not grow up with these dishes so I didn't have a taste for it. I really enjoyed the Sisig topped with raw egg on top. We mixed it up and yummy. The best Sisig I have ever had. My friends enjoyed it very much too. Lastly, for dessert, we ordered the halo halo with ube ice cream. It was so refreshing. The ice was shaved perfectly to my liking. I don't like fine ice.
