Front bumper had an orange peel finish, there is still dried wax wedged into the body crevices and my trunk doesn't close in alignment with the body allowing water and soap from a car wash to get into the rubber seal draining out on the bumper. The back bumper has spots that were not painted at all, just clear coat. I have asked about all of these things and this is what I was told. Did the orange peel on the front bumper intentionally to protect it better, bald spots on the back bumper because it wasn't a part of the original accident so they didn't paint it (the rear panel, back bumper and trunk were hit twice in a parking lot) there were not any spots without paint when I left the car with them. I took the car to a reputable body shop (Baldinger's Auto Body in Rochester) to have the trunk alignment fixed and was told it was not just an adjustment. The owner called me and said it could cost several hundred dollars to straighten. I called Barckhoffs Auto Body and told them where the car was and what I was being told (the trunk was a huge concern for me when I took the car to Barckhoffs and we discussed it at lengths) the response was, it is supposed to be that way. Not one time have they taken any responsibility for the crappy work. I am done with them, but don't take something to them that should be an easy thing because it won't be if you care about quality you will NOT be happy at all. I strongly recommend you head over the Baldinger's and get what you pay for not what Barckhoffs decides you should have. Update: Since posting this Barckhoff's has reached out and offered to try to make the trunk right. Following my own advice... Don't do it!

I called to inform him of the issue and asked if I'd be able to ride to the mechanic. He agreed! Chris was so nice on the phone. My drop off for my car was between 4 & 6. I called Chris on a Friday to schedule my tow the next day and gave him the time frame of my drop off. He said they had some tows scheduled early in the afternoon & would call before on their way for mine. I ended up calling around 4 to check if they only accept cash for tows & Chris explained he would be there in about 15-20 minutes & that they have no way to run credit cards from the truck, so only cash would be accepted. When they came to pick up my car, it was all downhill lol. My car hadn't moved in 2-3 months. The brakes had locked and it couldn't get pushed onto the truck. We also tried jumper cables to jump it but that didn't work because the gas was a little low & again it hasn't been started for awhile. Chris & his buddy hooked up the car with a chain and steered it on to the truck. $60 (6miles total) my car was on it's way to the shop. Since my car was just a drop off at mechanic , I didn't have to be there / ride with them but it was nice to know the option was there. Thanks again guys!!!!
