And they destroyed the studs on my exhaust manifold from a simple bolt on magnaflow exhaust that should have been no more than 2 hours and a few hundred dollars. It left that shop leaking and loose, right rear cat failed and magnaflow honored the warranty and shipped me a replacement. Brought it back to have them swap the part and fix the leak. It leaked even worse and the owner told me straight to my face that it was not leaking and it didn't fit perfect cause it wasn't OEM. I finally find Eric with performance automotive and come To find out he even used to work at ams, so he knows what he's doing for sure. After spending 3 hours removing the old stripped studs and putting in new hardware, the magnaflow exhaust all went into place perfect like an OEM part . Had some other parts that needed to go on before a trip back to California and when I went to drop off truck my alternator was showing signs it was going out. Got all the parts together and he managed to swap that, installed my traction bars, do my carrier bearing on my driveshaft, and airbag cradles. Truck drives perfect now and while his shop rate may be "high" to some people, he actually is working that full hour and doesn't just sit around. I'd rather pay more per hour and less hours and ensure it gets done than some of these other shops in the area that charge less per hour but bill you more hours and mess things up like what I experienced that he had to fix. Overall you get what you pay for and simply put, He's the only shop I would ever go to out there.

Had this location perform 100K mile service on my Honda Pilot, which I have owned and maintained…read moresince new. $1700 which included timing belt kit replacement (tensioner, belt, water pump). After 2 years, the engine developed a loud knock. Inspection by another shop found the timing belt disintegrating and the tensioner was failing. Calling Ken Towery's and referencing my previous work order number, they were unable to tell me what parts/manufacturer were used. When I stated a timing belt should last much longer than 2 years, they stated it was outside the warranty period and there was nothing they could do. After inspecting the parts they used, they appeared to be sub-OEM quality. Attached pictures show pieces of the timing belt as it was coming apart. Also, the wrong color anti-freeze was used for a Japanese vehicle. The front line staff is very friendly, as a positive.

I was charged $523.05 for the brake repair, but the work was not completed properly. While he was working on the car, I asked my wife to check with him to make sure he had finished the job and to ask her to test the brakes to confirm that everything was working properly. She texted him asking for an update, and his response was, "Update on what?" as if he was not working on her car. When she asked if she could test the brakes to make sure they were working, he told her that the brakes were bleeding and that it would cost an additional $200. He then left without completing the job. After I got off work, I went with a mechanic friend to inspect the car. I was told that the brake job had not been done correctly. According to the mechanic I spoke with, this should have been a simple fix if the original work had been completed properly. I then tried calling your company to discuss the issue and ask you to come back and correct the problem, but no one answered the phone. I paid $523.05 for a brake repair that I expected to be completed correctly. I should not have to pay additional money to have the original job properly finished. I am also very concerned about the way my wife was treated while I was at work. I feel that she was taken advantage of because I was not there. The area where the work was performed has more than 200 cameras, so there should be documentation of what happened and how the work was performed. At this point, I am asking that you either refund my money for the unfinished and improperly completed work or contact me to resolve this matter. If we cannot resolve this issue, I will consider taking the matter to small claims court. I paid for a service to be completed properly, and that is what I expect. I hope we can resolve this situation without having to take further action.
