FULL 5 stars!! I have used this location 3x now since I'm often in LaGrange on business. First time I had 4 brand new tires from St Matthews and then a week later, got a nail in my tire! Big O LaGrange was quick to fix my tire and get me on the road. 2nd time I needed them for a dead battery and they noticed a bad cable and had to replace that burnt/damaged battery cable and new battery and although costly (but reasonable), they got me replaced and on the road timely that morning! I did have the go back a 3rd time because that battery cable had come loose and wasn't connecting properly and resulted in dead battery, but I called and spoke to owner/manager ahead of time to discuss the situation. He was very kind to listen to my situation and assured me he would personally monitor the ticket and to come in when able. I was there the next morning and they took my car back immediately, made the correction/adjustment and I swear they must have checked my fluids, air in my tires etc because my car felt like it was driving better when I left! I truly can't say enough good things about this location! The entire staff is extremely service oriented. They have great turnaround times for tires, rotations, flat repair, etc. I've brought vehicles here for other routine maintenance items as well in the past because I can trust they're not trying to harpoon my vehicle based on commission like what seems to be commonplace at dealerships these days. Why would I want to talk to the people who ripped me off in the first place? This was obviously an automated negative feedback response in an attempt to make Big O look better. I have used Big O Tires in Lagrange for many years to service and maintain my vehicles. All the staff are excellent, but I especially want to acknowledge Josh Mattingly. Josh goes above and beyond to keep me informed on any repairs that are needed or being done on my vehicles. Josh runs diagnostics, explains what parts are needed, and gives me a cost for repairs before any work is done so I am not blindsided by the price and can budget accordingly. Despite most of the reviews here Big O in LaGrange has been dishonest with me, worst case, or wildly overpriced, best case. I took my truck there once because I had a headlight out and they said the only way they could fix it was to take the whole front bumper off and it would cost me around $100. Ultimately took it to a friend who owns a body shop and the bumper didn't have to come off it just needed a $10 light. Another time I had a brake problem, Big O says $700-something dollars which obviously sounded high and I told them as much. They said well we could probably get you out of here with a basic job for $400-something. Thanks but no thanks and I took it to Brakeway and got it done for $225. I'm not sure I believe all the reviews on here about how honest they are because my experience seemed at least to be quite the opposite. read more

This place ROCKS!! My dad swears by this place & now I know why. He took my car in about a week ago to get one of my tires plugged and they didn't charge him for it. He went back a couple days later for 2 new tires on his Avalon. He had called in advance & since they have his car in the system, they knew what he needed & had the tires for him the next day. So, upon Dad's recommendation, and the good service he has received, I headed there today about 3pm for tire rotation. Service was great!! Super fast (less than 30 minutes) and they didn't even charge me!!! I really appreciate their kindness and great customer service. Don't change a thing! You guys are awesome. Been doing business with Big O Tires here in Lagrange for 7 plus years now. Never have I found a place that is this consistent with superior service With no exceptions I have ever seen! Time after time they have amazed my wife and I. We had a brake caliper freeze up a few years back and even though it had just ran out of warranty they covered it without being required too and without us asking or even thinking they had a responsibility to do so. We buy all our tires from them and do many of our repairs that they are able to do there. Normally my wife will call me and check with me on repairs or tires to make sure she's doing the right thing and cost is ok when she Has to go to a garage but with Big O Tires she goes and whatever they tell her she knows she can take it to the bank and that they are giving her the best possible advice and she knows she can trust them 1000 percent! That's huge! You just won't find any better tire place anywhere and I would bet it would be very difficult to find one that even equals these guys! read more

Got in there without an appointment on a Saturday, and it was ready in 3 hours. They also installed my wiper blades (which I didn't buy from them) and a new headlight without even charging me for the labor. AND as a new customer they gave me a gift certificate for a free oil change. Good, new tires will never be cheap, but these guys definitely go out of their way to give you a good value and keep your business. We were about 1100 miles from home on vacation. Our gravel shield came loose and we went to Big O Tires, as it was the closest shop to where we were staying.
