It's mostly boho and shabby-chic-style clothes in flowery patterns, flowy eyelet blouses, embroidered denim and lots of pastels, which is not my thing at all, but maybe it's yours? If it is, then you're in luck! This place has all of that and then some. Downstairs, there are lots of little gifts, knickknacks, trinkets and stocking-stuffer-type things. Sunglasses, lip gloss, funky earrings, bath bombs, journals and pens, books, home goods and lots more. There are also some Bible devotionals and signs with Bible scripture on them. I think Mulberry Cottage leans Christian, and what made me even more convinced of this is the music playing throughout the store (Christian music). This store also likes its signs: There are chalkboard signs with phrases like "Home is where family gathers" and "Bless our home" and other such anodyne phrases. This boutique is very colorful and cute, though. As soon as you step inside, you feel like you're in a special place, and I immediately wanted to take photos. The pastel rainbow-colored staircase leading you up to the clothing section deserves to be captured in a selfie, for sure.

Occasionally, I like to pop out with something zesty. The trick with vintage is that you need to…read morewear exactly one vintage item per outfit, and that's it. A blouse, a piece of jewelry, a jacket, a belt. Less is more with vintage. I have a small collection of vintage things, but I'm always on the lookout for that one strange, unique piece to elevate my shiz. Route 46 Vintage is such a place to find cool vintage clothing and wearable things to add to your wardrobe. Route 46 Vintage is the sister store to Brown County Antique Mall. This store and another one are all located on the same grounds as the antique mall, and they are one big, happy family. Route 46 houses all of the clothes and accessories. You'll find vintage tees, skirts, dresses, hats, jewelry and lots more. You will also find handmade items and upcycled fashion -- old things remade to be new things. There are lots of things to look at here. The clothing at Route 46 Vintage is well curated. No moth-ball-smelling coats or stained shirts here! Just lots of cool old things.

You can tell a lot of care goes into selecting what's on the floor--this isn't a "junk shop," it's a place for people who appreciate quality, character, and stories. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, not pretentious. Whether you're a serious collector or just browsing on a weekend drive through Nashville/Brown County, it's easy to spend more time here than you planned. I've found everything from unique home pieces to gifts that actually feel meaningful (and not mass-produced). If you enjoy vintage with soul, local flavor, and a personal touch, Route 46 Vintage is absolutely worth the stop. One of my favorite shops in the area.

My children love wearing wacky socks, so I got them each a pair: skeletons and rainbow dogs. For Bare Feet Too is a great place to find the perfect pair of socks for the sock-loving or feet-having people in your life. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. In a sea of socks, she knows what she has and what she doesn't. She was also nice to chat with as she rang me up. The socks themselves are really good quality, and the price is moderate. Most of the socks are in the $12 to $18 range, but I did see some socks that were slightly less (and a few slightly more). Outside, there is a cart with discounted socks, if you're looking for a bargain.
