I needed the rear brakes replaced and honestly I was worried about the cost. Tony set up an appointment to first look at the brakes to see just how bad they were, and then worked in a discount for being military/veteran. I was amazed at how much the cost for the repair was. Needless to say, thanks to my fellow veterans for recommending Big A Auto because I will bring my car here for all her needs. At the time I thought maybe the college driver had let someone work on it so I paid it. My mistake as I didn't take time to think it thru. I know the folks I bought it from were honest and long time friends. Big A lied. We heard a bang and a scrape so immediately pulled over in to the first parking lot, which happened to be Vaughn's Automotive. We called the 24 hour emergency number and Matt came right over to help us! He patched us back together so we could safely drive until we can get a more full repair. This was my first visit to Iowa and it's beautiful and that goes for the people too. Me and my adult kids were going to the fair when my suv needed an alternator suddenly. Cliff checked my vehicle and found I needed an alternator mine had stopped charging my battery and my dash was lite up like Christmas. I was quoted a fair price and the got it done so fast then delivered it to me at the hotel.
