Exceptional Craftsmanship and Service! I recently had the pleasure of working with KF Kitchen Cabinets as part of a full renovation and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. From start to finish, the experience has been a joy. So typical of NYC apartments in older buildings, the kitchen was awkward in shape and the walls frequently not square and sometimes not plumb, and the solution in our case necessitated custom cabinetry. The quality of the cabinets is outstanding, the plywood components being able to be disassembled when they would not fit through openings, and reassembled in-situ. Each piece was meticulously crafted, the materials used are top-notch, and the finish is flawless, adding an elegant touch to our kitchen, bathroom and bedroom-built-ins. When the original, functional hardware selected by myself for some of our most unique challenges did not perform as expected, the team at KF Kitchen Cabinets worked with me to find alternative solutions and we solved the issues together. "Less than a cornucopia" This place has a lot of very positive reviews and I have to take some umbrage with them. I stopped by one day and I was less than impressed. They seem to have a lot of cabinets in the same style that is more inline with neo colonial than urban chic. Prices for the granite weren't so great either. Just not a lot of selection and options. I guess if you are limited by time or distance this might be a place to go, but I think I'd try some other stores as well. read more

Can't rave enough about this company/guy! We visited his showroom in person, which is small, but you can see the amazing quality of his work. Beautiful and elegant. He also had more pictures online for us to view, as well as his previous jobs. As one yelper said, there not a lot of options. But it's more about the quality of what he makes, as well as his excellent customer service. You want a good product, but it feels ten times better when you are treated like a valued customer, regardless of your budget. Also when we stopped by the showroom, he was not there. But we did not make an appointment, so that was on us. Jason is amazing. A young guy, but is so professional, you'd think he was in business for decades. I have never met someone who was so upfront and communicative, to the point where he emailed confirmations repeatedly (without prompted, without us having to hound him), he emailed/called when he said he would, if he had other guys bringing in the counter top (they worked with him), he would call to see how things went and make sure everyone was satisfied. He forgot nothing, and always kept us in the loop. Having dealt with flaky contractors, it was nice to know that he cared how we felt every step of the way. His estimate/quote was well-detailed and laid-out. We knew exactly how much was being charged for EVERYTHING.There was no confusion, because everything was listed and laid out clearly. As Jerry R. says, extremely affordable. And I like that he was willing to make suggestions for cheaper options, if you are on a tighter budget. He is very willing to work with you, to find the best cost effective solution for your home without sacrificing style or quality. Very personable and real, can definitely have a conversation with this guy. Replacing our kitchen countertops during a pandemic, high demand for contractor services and short supply of materials proved to be challenging, but Jason was really responsive, proactive and eager to find solutions. We were under an urgent timeline and Jason's team moved so fast (including supplying documents for our building) that they were actually ready for installation ahead of schedule. A small part of a stone piece was damaged during installation, which perhaps one should be prepared to expect given the materials. I recently hired some contractors to do some renovation work at home. They helped to purchase and provide many of the things I needed but suggested I try to find cabinets on my own since there are so many companies out there to choose from and also had to consider price vs. quality. I noticed many of my friends that have done some renovations had pictures of their work and I noticed the cabinets. I inquired about it and was referred to Jason. After my first communication with him he managed to stay in contact and replied quickly to my numerous questions. We quickly set up an appointment and I went to check out the product. The cabinets I have seen online looked just as good in the showroom. They seem to have many different colors and styles to choose from, I definitely was on a budget and decided to just automatically pick the cheapest. Jason said if I want cheap I can just go to one of the numerous cabinet shops in Flushing and pick something there, but if I wanted a good balance of quality and value he had what I was looking for. He showed me a couple of options and even showed me some cool digital 3D like floorplans and we settled on something we liked. I chose the shaker style. They were able to get it done pretty quick and delivered it to me. My contractors were impressed with the cabinet quality and said I made a good choice.
