I wanted swarovski crystals and the nails tech used cheap glue and rushed me in the process of doing my nails so the crystals fell off the same day. I went back to get them replaced and he replaced them with regular rhinestones which isnt a problem but I still paid for swarovski crystals. Very c r a p p y job unfortunately. He didn't place nails at cuticle he put it above so now it looks like I've had these on for a month. They won't be getting another penny out of me unless i am desperate. I was charged $165 for gel x nails and a half job pedicure. I paid for deluxe pedicure and did not receive that. Paint job on toes looked fine but my nails look terrible.

Both nail techs were very nice. When I left, I noticed my nails looked a little angled up but didn't question it- since I never had gel x. On Saturday morning- two of my nails popped off and by Saturday a third did. I reached out to the salon and they immediately were happy to get me in for a nail fix. I live across town so I told them it would need to be Monday morning. I arrived to the salon this morning and had a different nail tech. They removed the whole set and applied a new set for me. The nail tech even explained that my nails are curved and I needed a specific type of nail. Needless to say, she did an AMAZING job and they feel sturdy. I will definitely come back to this salon- they have great work ethic and believe in pricing good customer service. I am very thankful they took care of me. I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure, and less than 24 hours later the gel on several of my toenails was already chipping and lifting. I called, and to their credit, they apologized and asked me to come back in for a correction. During the correction, I showed the technician which toes needed fixing. She only repaired the visibly chipped ones and left four other toes where the gel was already lifting. I also mentioned that the manicure and pedicure color was supposed to be a clear pink, but my toenails ended up a nude shade instead. That part was partially on me for not noticing until I got home. The staff was extremely friendly and kind, which I appreciated. However, having to return a second time and still not have the issue fully corrected on a $90 pedicure didn't sit right with me. I'm sure if I had pushed harder or demanded a full redo, it probably would have happened -- but I don't think customers should have to feel like a "Karen" just to have things made right. The manicure itself turned out great, but based on my experience, I'd personally avoid getting a pedicure here.

They also gave us tips to take care of our hair. The salon is also in a great location. It's right next to a bakery so you can grab some pastry and coffee before or after your hair appointment. The last visit for the same service with a different tech was totally different. It was rushed, and uncomfortable. The cuticle trimming was painful, the instruments weren't sterilized, and overall it felt really passive aggressive. That's what I'd expect from a low rent $25 manicure job at a hole in the wall salon. Bottom line - if you find a tech you like there, request them by name for future appointments. UPDATE: My mani started chipping after two days, and I had full peeling within a week.
