I know their quality is top-notch because my set lasted 22 days, surviving three weeks of travel, gym workouts, and working various busy gigs. I went back today to get the Gel-X removed and transition to a fresh, short nude gel set just to give my nails a break. Henry took care of me again and did not disappoint. It was easy to schedule a last minute pedicure here within the hour. Nice, clean, minimal, and spacious place. There's a large variety of regular nail / non-gel colors to choose from. As soon as I checked in, I picked a color and was immediately taken to the pedicure station. Chairs appeared to be of higher quality than other salons I've been to. This is the first nail salon where the water wasn't too hot when I dipped my feet in, which is great. I got the express pedicure + design. This is priced at $35 + $5 for the design. My feet are very ticklish / sensitive and I am not the type to find a pedicure relaxing, but the nail tech was really good at being gentle and making sure I was comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed on was the massage. Yes, I get that I got the express pedicure, but the massage was super fast. I think you can get a few minutes more as an add on, or you can get a longer massage depending on which pedicure you get. The gentleman next to me definitely paid up and got a really long and slow massage, which looked super relaxing. I really like how efficient this place is and will come back. read more

Came to the salon to get an eyebrow wax before my vacation. Kim did my waxing and right after I felt an immediate burning sensation on my left eye which never happened before (I get my wax regularly). I told Kim this didn't feel right. She showed me that she already put Neosporin on the area. But then she gaslighted me by saying I had sensitive skin. Unsure what it really was, I tipped her and paid for the service. When I got home the burning sensation wasn't going away and I knew for sure that she burned my skin. The next day I went to the store and explained the situation. The lady who I spoke to gave me a refund and then gaslighted me again saying it could be my skin that's sensitive and maybe I had sunburn prior. I would never go back to this place again! read more

I went to Nail Republic based on their reviews and pictures I found on Yelp. Also because they closed late. I brought my aunt with me to treat her and myself to a manicure and pedicure. I called ahead of time and they were able to make an appointment for us about an hour later which was great. I will note before I forget that they did all wear masks and they social distanced the manicure stations. The staff all did clean on their down town between clients which was nice to see. I don't remember all the staff that helped us, but I do remember Natalie's name who did my aunt's pedicure and was gentle on a painful area she had damaged by a previous bad pedicure. The owner did her manicure which she also loved. I had a manicure and pedicure done by an older woman who I thought did a great job. She was quiet and didn't speak to me much which was nice for me to get to relax and not have to fake small talk lol my aunt on the other hand was quite talkative. I had their $50 pedicure and it took about an hour and the manicure was about half an hour. I think that's a great price and it includes a couple foot and leg masks and massages that were nice. Although they all worked really fast I never felt rushed which was nice. I feel like they really took their time with us and it was a better quality than other salons. The overall vibe of the space and the way the staff interacted with their clients was very impressive for me. There's so many nail salons on the SW side of town that you really shouldn't have to settle for bad service or experiences. We moved out here the last year and think we've finally found our "spot". For us both getting manicures and pedicures the total was about $120 which was definitely fair-they didn't charge more for a man's pedicure like some salons do. read more

Nail Republic is a clean, cute salon located in the SW area, nestled into a neighborhood. A friend hooked me up with a gift card for a mani, so I came in for a late evening appointment with Aiden. The later hours were a major convenience factor in being able to get in quickly. Color and product selection here are solid. I found a nail art photo online that they were able to duplicate, and I found close color matches easily. Aiden was friendly and professional, worked quickly and with good attention to detail. What's most impressive though is that I've now had this mani for TWO MONTHS (thanks, Covid closures) and all of them are still attached with very minor lifting on two nails. It's easily the strongest and longest-lasting gel mani I have ever had. Also, before the salon closed, I reached out to their IG and sent a photo of the next mani I wanted and they were able to check with techs/products to see if it was something they could do. Again, great service! NOTE: Call to verify hours. Doors said they were open til 10PM but I overheard them answer a call saying they closed at 9PM. I do recommend an appointment. read more

Let's start by saying the current owner is top notch. The place is clean. That's a big change from previous visits. Niki is the best! Is that enough for a review? Well ok, I guess I will elaborate. I was looking for a nail home closer to work so I wasn't spending my weekends or evenings away from home. I am not only so glad I found nail republic but that I found Nikki. They have an amazing selection of polish both regular and gel. Their pedicure chairs are state of the art and extremely comfortable. They even have two little girl chairs for any accompanying princesses. On to Nikki who is awesome. She is meticulous and highly skilled. Her work is exceptional and you can tell she is very particular about everything she does. I can easily go 3-4 weeks without a single chip or crack. I am constantly on my feet and often suffer from relentless ingrown toe nails. Her's is the first pedicure that has given me immediate relief. I cannot say enough about Nikki. She is a little shy and insecure about it and they made her feel accepted and "normal". My 14 year old was treated to a brand new black sparkly product on her trendy, pointy acrylics. Very disappointed in the nails I got done. I had to get my nails changed due to a photo shoot, my nail lady was completely booked so I decided to go down the street. I literally asked for something SO simple. WHITE NAILS, they charged me $5 more than what they had quoted me which I thought was weird but let it go. The lady was nice but I did feel like she wasn't using a good quality gel polish. NOT EVEN 5 DAYS later & I notice the white (which keep in mind I asked for the brightest white they had) was turning brown. I don't work in the dirt I literally type all day so I know it wasn't me. After 2 weeks they've gotten an ugly brown tint & even have one nail already lifting I have asked my nail lady for white nails before with no issues like this & no lifting in 2 weeks.
