What a relaxing couple of hours I had! My husband trains at the Brazilian jiu-jitsu place next-door, so I thought why not get a manicure and pedicure next-door while he is training. I am nine months pregnant so relaxation is my go to right now. I had a wonderful woman do mine toes, I did not know her name, but she did really well. I got the $50 massage, which was the most expensive one the towels, the extra massages even the pot wax on my feet definitely had me feeling really nice. Then move onto my nails, and Nhi did a beautiful job on my nails, and we had great conversation the entire time. $65 for my dip powder + French look. I will be back to get my nails done by her! She was very professional and kind, and I also might look into doing my eyebrows too. Everything was very clean and satisfying. The atmosphere was relaxing and cute as well. I came in today for a pedicure. Because, honestly, I just don't feel like scrubbing the dead skin off my own feet and I can get it done here for $20 with some polish. I'm swearing off gel polish, since it's rather damaging to your nails. My technician wasn't as friendly as last time, but she did a good job snipping all over my toe tips. She brought out this massive scrubber thing (seriously, it looked like a cheese grater with a big ass handle) that made my heels feel amazing afterwards. Yes dear, you got your 20% tip! I went in to this establishment at 11am on a Sunday morning for a pedicure. There were two people waiting with their feet in the water. There was one woman waiting at a table, and there were 4 other customers receiving services. All nail technicians were busy. I was told the wait would be 15 minutes. There is no way the wait was 15 minutes. It was likely 30 minutes or more. The woman said 15 minutes three times. My time is valuable. I just want to know honestly how long I will have to wait. Honesty is important, so I can decide whether or not to go elsewhere. I will never go here again. The last time I went, their nail dryer shorted and caught on fire, literarily burning while I was getting a pedicure. I should have never gone back after that. I would suggest you avoid this place. Considering there are so many others near it, it is not difficult to find a better place to go. read more

The salon I usually go to was closed so I need to find another since I was attending a party that day & I ran across K N Nails. 2 of my nails had chipped off so I received an acrylic to evens out with the rest of my nails. I really wanted my nails to be even. He did an AWFUL job with shaping my nails. One was filed wayyyy too short, another was way too long, or it was filed way too much on the sides. Once he was done, another lady came to file it even but only so much can be done since too much was filed down with some of my nails. Besides the awful shaping, the nail tech did a great job. It's been 2 weeks since I received a shellac & my nails still looks great. Pricing is really good for how long it lasted vs when I go to other salons. read more

I needed my nails done and this is the first place I ran into, beside the Walmart. I got a pedicure done by their daughter and a manicure done by the owner (I forgot their names). My pedicure was average at best, I've been places and only gotten a polish change that looked better. I got an acrylic full set and when I first got it done I loved it but, after a week my nails began to lift. Food,water etc was under my thumb .. very gross. The people were friendly, I have a Vietnamese boyfriend and the owner kept asking me about him, I don't know why lol. The place is very cheap hence the quality. I will not be returning. read more

I have been coming here for years and am never disappointed. Out of l the places in the area they are the best prices and also do great work. I usually only go for a pedicure but I have also gotten a manicure and a full set before. My friend usually gets the gel done and she has had then take off her full set before a few times. If we ever want to get a pedicure before a meal we'll go here during the week. The place is clean and organized with a wide selection of nail colors. During the weekend they can get very busy but usually they work well through the rush. I like their work and will continue to visit for nail needs. read more

I must have gone on the wrong day or something, but I received mediocre service. The pedicure was ok, although the next day I got a hang nail in my toe. Manicure was rushed and no massage whatsoever, I requested gel manicure which costs $20 additional and an hour after I left the facility, the nail Polish started to chip. I went back to get it repaired the next day and the owner was pretty rude about it and questioned if I even got it there. After I showed him the receipt, he fixed the chipped polish. Two days later I have more chipped polish...I had gel manicures done in other places and they have lasted for 2 weeks! I feel that I wasted my money read more

I have always had great service here. I normally go to A & E nails,in Suffolk. Since I started going to the physicians weight loss center;I started coming,in here,once a month. I just moved to VA and needed a good salon, I went here based off the great reviews and was not impressed. I paid $50 for a mani pedi and it wasn't very good. The pedi foot massage was literally two minutes long, the woman doing the massage kept dangling her hair on my feet which was a problem when she was painting my nails, I also asked her to file my nails rather than cut and she left my toe nails jagged and rough. She filed my skin, not the actual nail. Then the woman doing the mani left hair in my nails, when I pointed it out she just used clear polish over it... really? At least cover it with color polish. When it came time to let my nails dry they sat me down at the drying table and didn't check up on m at all. After 30mins of just sitting there I decided to pay and leave. Normally someone comes to check after 15mins but no one ever came. And when I was trying to get the attention of the woman who did the pedi, she kept hiding in the back room every time a customer entered the store. Overall I was not impressed and paid too much for a crappy mani/pedi. Probably never coming back to this place. UPDATE: Gel polish is supposed to last about two weeks or more... mine is now lifting and peeling off after barely a week. Do not go here! read more

I visited KN Nails on a Thursday before my trip to the beach because it was close to work and had good reviews. The technician who did my nails was very nice and helpful as was all of the staff and it was reasonably priced. By Monday 4 of my toenails had completely chipped off and by Tuesday my shellac nails were peeling up and one was chipped. Typically when I get my nails done before a beach vacation is lasts the normal 2 weeks so I was very disappointed- I've never had a manicure or pedicure go this quickly.
