Wow. Can't believe it's been 7 years since I've been here. I came here on a Monday morning about 9:30 for a regular manicure. My usual spot is now closed on Mondays and today was my only available time to do it. The same older gentleman who did it 7 years ago did it. He took him time. He gave me the most amazing hand and arm massage too. Only $17. Again, the best backup for me that is close! read more

Took my daughter to get her nails done at this location and they treated her horribly. The man that was doing her nails was very old and he should not be working anymore. His hands were extremely shaky and he applied the acrylic on very thick it was already touching her cuticles. We complained to the owner and they treated her even worse afterwards. they not once apologized, instead they got even more rough. read more

This is THE WORST nail salon I have EVER been to. They had a damn near 90 year old man (that shouldn't even be working at this point) working on my nails. His hands were unsteady & he had 0 patience especially after I said something POLITELY to THE OWNER the whole salon started being rude to me nor did they switch my tech. I called my mom and told her to come in then they had a lady start filing my nails & my mom even told them to be more gentle because even she could tell how rough they were being after I made a complaint. After all of this they still charged me $60 for a set that looked like a child was practicing. I wouldve walked out but after the girl started filing my nails it looked a bit better till she allowed the old man to continue my set. read more

i got my nails done there and they didn't do the design right at all, i also had a 90 year old man do my nails and he was very disrespectful. also, there was a old man there sitting in a massage chair touching hisself while looking at me and my cousin. please don't go there. read more

Justin has been doing my acrylics for 12 years plus. He does exactly what I ask him for and it always looks great.

This place is anything but classy. The younger guy named Julius was very rude to me. Je made me feel so stupid telling me I don't know what Oombre was and said I didn't know what I want. He then told a technician to do my toes. Mind you, that old woman should be in the kitchen cooking instead of doing nails. She did a horrible job on my toes. I will never come back there. read more

I've been here already a couple of times and I'm ready to recommend this place! It's hard to find a good nail salon close to your house and this salon is by far the best I've been in this area. Prices are reasonable and Justin and his family are great people. It's always clean and they are very professional. I've never seen an angry costumer, they all seem to know this place very well and employees are very attentive. It doesn't matter how busy they are, you're always welcome to choose your nail polish and take a seat. They may work on two people at the same time but you'll never be waiting for long. The employees were nice and helpful choosing colors. I got gel acrylics and wanted a pastel pink, but instead got a darker pink than I expected. The color still looks beautiful, just not what I had planned. The customer service was welcoming and nice. They accepted walk ins and got me in right away. Justin does an excellent job on my nails and his wife Hannah gives a great pedicure service. They're friendly, accommodating and have a sweet family that I've enjoyed watching grow over the years. Went to get my nails done from this place because parents live in Great Bridge. My first experience was great I thought until I got home and my nails were half way painted, went in the next day and they told me that's how they are supposed to look. Ask the wife of the owner to fix it, she told me NO she was to busy. The older lady bless her heart is only listening to what the husband and wife tell her to do. She's very nice but the man and younger women (owner) are not professional at all. There are fruit flies around. I will never ever in my life go back to this place or recommend this place for anyone. This location is not up to par with the competition!! The cleanliness is less than desirable!!! I will never come back!! There were two bugs in my water as they asked me to place my feet in the tub, ummm NO!!! The instruments are not sterilized and some of the staff are not customer service oriented. Have had pedicures done there twice and results are always long lasting. Massages are great and thorough. The owners are very nice and walk ins are always welcomed. I have found the place to be clean. One concern is that it does not appear that the instruments are sterilized between customers. Instruments are always placed in a box next to the one doing your nails and used on the next customer. My other concern is they talk to each other in their native language and sometimes laughing with each other, which leaves the customer a little uncomfortable and wondering if they are talking about you, your body, etc. That seems a little disrespectful to the customer. An elderly man did a full set nails and when I noticed that he didn't cut the middle fingernail the same length, his disposition became rude. Then my thumb nail was not filled completely on the side. He tried to fix and then another nail tech fixed it. I selected black nail polish and when I left and started driving I could see right through it. They needed another coat. We walked into this place for a quick manicure for one, and nail polish change on fingers and toes for another. The manicurist didn't put a top coat on the manicure and was unfamiliar with a method called - quick dry. BUT the real issues was the nail polish change was pretty bad. In fact when I was drying my nails I had to ask someone else to fix my two big toes. They weren't covered fully with paint and streaks/spots could be seen. The paint was also around my cuticle beds on fingers and I had to ask for that to be removed. Absolutely no attention to detail! I would definitely say this was one of the worst experiences. The only plus I can see is they didn't make us wait long as walk-ins. read more

This is the best salon that I've found in Virginia so far. I go here to get my gel manicures- which only cost $25! If you get your nails done frequently you know that's a phenomenal price. Not only is it affordable, but my manicure always lasts a full two weeks. The customer service here is unmatched. The employees are always kind, and go out of their way to do what I ask. The salon itself always appears clean! This is something that's incredibly important to me at any nail salon, so I enjoy that I've found one where I don't have to worry about it being unsterile. This is quite possibly the worst pedicure I've ever had. The polish selection is very old bottles of polish, no new spring colors. I didn't have to wait which should have been my first clue. The employees have their children running around screaming and carrying on. One child came up to my technician and was eating a sucker, had a not moved my foot that was being worked on the sucker would have landed on my foot. At this point I wanted to get up and leave. No conversation was in English, he killed me with the cuticle nippers. I originally came in wanting a pedi and fill. I will be leaving as soon as my toes are polished and would not return. I have been here a few times. The older woman has always been kind and has always done a great job! Today I went and it was a hot-Ass mess!! First, my pedicure got done by the younger woman because the older woman was taking care of my best friend. The younger woman got upset with me because I was tickled by the scrubbing of my feet and I needed her to stop for a sec and let me take a breath. She got pissed. Then I asked her if she could take some more of the skin off the bottom of my feet. She told me that I could buy one of the scrubbers and do it myself. REALLY....!! So then she tried to back peddle and explain to me that she did her best....heck no, sub par!! The store is very dirty, there were flies and bugs around and there was also a strong nail smell in the shop. Like I said I've never had this experience there, until today. I think I've over looked it because the other lady was nice and accommodating! But I will never go back! I paid and left w/no tip, and now I have to go home and take more skin of my feet cause she didn't want to do what she was paid to do and what I didn't want to do but pay someone to do!! I have been going here for almost as long as they have been open. I love Justin and his family and they have always gone out of their way to make sure you are happy with their service. I am sorry to see that some people have had poor service, but this is a service industry and sometimes you just have a hard time getting good help. I have been to many nail salons over the years and also have worked in the beauty industry so I understand how you can get infections and such and I have never ever had any problems ( and I look for them). Paid 100 dollars for full set for me and my daughter and pedis. When we arrived I was skeptical bc it was outdated. When I sat down I just observed. Doesn't seem like they clean their tools. I have the benefit of the doubt. Toes are fine. But my acrylics are crooked. Paint job terrible. And they cut me several times. The old lady was very nice but right before she was done with me she cleaned her ear with the same brush she used on me and put it back. I was in a rush as I had a flight to catch. The manicure I received was good. The service I got however was not up to par. I've tried this place multiple times but I get the same negative vibes from the employees. I feel quite unwelcome every time I come in. When I went with my mom they completely ignored her. They also gave her a sore on her finger. Not to mention their kids running around every time. Francis was amazing. I love my shape and his insight on how long I should have them because of my job. But when one nail was a good amount longer than the other and I asked him to fix it, a young woman, who I'm guessing manages/owns the business got very snappy with me saying he knew what he was doing. I had complete faith in him, like i said he was amazing but if I'm paying for something, I'm gonna have it the way i want them. He did fix it and I tipped him well, because he did great. But, like other reviewers I didn't feel welcome at all. Plus, they really need to update their color selection.
