Best Nail Salon in Boca! I have been using Kim the owner for 22 years. I am very very fussy & my nails are always perfect! I get gel manicure every 2 weeks . I could even go 3 or 4 weeks if I wanted to. People stop me all the time to compliment my nails. They never chip they are my own nails that Kim keeps in perfect condition! She is very artistic & can do anything. I always get a white on while French manicure. Kim's sister is Kelly whom I've used for my pedicures for also 22 years! Always the best most thorough beautiful pedicure.! Kelly now only works on Sundays. The Salon, equipment & everything there is always immaculate . The tools are sterilized, tables cleaned between customers & Salon sterilized at the end of everyday! Nice relaxing atmosphere not the fanciest but definitely the best!! read more

This is my must-go nail salon in Florida. The staff are nice and professional. The store is clean and tidy. The tools are also very hygienic. The store owner is super friendly. Especially Mai. She was very patient with me asking her to do different nail styles. Although English is a little communication barrier for us. when I showed her the photos and she understood immediately. Moreover, the results of my nails done by Mai are very beautiful which can be compared to the nail salons in Manhattan, New York. The price is better. highly recommended! read more

I'm highly disappointed when a member of customer service can't take constructive criticism from the customer they'd rather give the job to their coworkers instead of taking it and learning from it to get better. I wouldn't even call it criticism considering that she only got frustrated with me once she seen how frustrated I got having to ask her to paint the whole nail on different occasions in the pedi. She was lazy and rushing with a appointment after me and I was considered the difficult one once I asked her to slow down and paint the whole nail. I just moved to the area. There were two nail salons near one another and after I had a bad experience at the other salon, I decided to try this one. I came to get one nail fixed (gel powdered stilettos) and the tech was fast, friendly, and fixed my nail in the way I requested ( it cracked the night before, along with my real nail underneath, so there was no way of removing the nail). She even shaped my nail to match the rest of the set.(many techs can't match shapes perfectly)The salon was clean, and had a nice ambiance. I will definitely be returning. Update: Now that I have become a regular, I love this place! There's always new color collections by OPI at the front desk (I'm a sucker for new colors)! Kim is my go-to girl, I returned for a fill (two weeks) and my nails haven't cracked, broken, or lifted! For me, that is amazing because I wear inch-and-a-half long stiletto nails and at my old shops, I was going for nail repairs 2-4 days per week. Make an appt with Kim! She is the best! read more

I've had a lot of bad luck with nail salons ever since I moved to Boca and yet again I'm dissaponted. Came here because my mother in law gave me a gift certificate for my birthday so I figured why not? Got a pedicure first by a women who did not say one word to me. She was talking to the other technician the entire time, was really rough with my feet to the point I started bleeding. At one point I noticed the tools didn't look clean and I asked "did you sterile the tools" and she says "they're clean" without answering my question. Next I got nexgen done, a different technician did them. She kept getting up and walking away to do other things and then at the end she rushed my nails so she could take someone who showed up 40 minutes early for her appointment. My nails and toes look fine I just don't understand why no one simply talks to anyone but their co-workers. read more

Being from out of town, I had no clue where to go in Boca for a decent mani/pedi. I checked out a few "hoity toity" salon websites and decided I'd prefer somewhere with no frills. After reading a few reviews of this place on another site, I decided it sounded like the right place for me. I went in with no appt., and was told to "pick a color" and given a chair right away. Just like my place back home! $33 for a mani/pedi, good deal. Of course I paid $5 extra for the french manicure. They had a great array of magazines and OPI colors, and the massage chair was nice too. Overall, she did a great job. Although I was disappointed by the lack of massage. Usually, I get a 5-10 minute massagge with the lotion, but not here. I asked later, and she told me you have to pay more and you can't get the mani/pedi combo. Hmmm... looked like everyone else was getting a longer massage. Maybe if there was a spa menu posted, I would've gone for the better service but it was never offered. So, I missed my favorite part! So sad, but my fingers and toes look great. read more

I recently moved and this place is right across the street from me. The first time I went there, I was sat in a chair soaking my acrylics off for more than 40 minutes with zero attention. They finally sat me in an older ladies chair who was the absolute worst manicurist I've ever encountered. She didn't understand a word of English and didn't acknowledge a single thing I said. I got up and went to the front desk and asked for someone else. I was sat in Julie's chair. She slopped some gel all over the cuticles that weren't trimmed and I left. I went to the beauty supply store next door and bought some acetone and soaked it all off. Under the lumpy gel were patches of acrylic which I paid to have removed. I looked at all these reviews and decided I would give Cindy a try. She gave me an actual manicure before she polished my nails and they looked good. I booked a pedicure for the next morning with Cindy. I arrived and she was shocked I had gel on my toes even though we discussed using the same polish we did on my hands. ???? She only allowed 30 minutes for my "pedicure". There is gel polish all over my untrimmed cuticles, calluses and dead skin on the bottom of my feet and zero massage. The "mini pedicure". A full gel pedicure is $38. They charged my $35. Goodbye. Don't waste your time or money at this place. I feel like I've been robbed, twice, and they truly couldn't care less. Found this place about 6 months ago. Called the evening before my trip and Kim stayed past closing to do my full set. She has been consistently amazing. Moved out of Boca but still take the drive just for her. Today they were crazy busy with it being the day before a holiday. Kim still took the time to make sure my nails came out perfect. Beware!!! I was cut while having a pedicure and ended up with a staph infection requiring 2 surgeries by a podiatrist and 2 weeks on antibiotics. I understand that a cut can happen anywhere but the instruments were not being sterilized and the salon is simply not clean. There are so many other choices of nail salons. This salon said they had a manicure/pedicure available for me until the man looked down and saw that I had a service dog. Then all of the sudden they had no manicurists available. I gave this place benefit of the doubt TWICE. First walked in and put me in a pedi chair and the girl used equipment on me that clearly wasn't sanitized. She said oh I only used it on one other person. GROSS. I let her continue what the hell...ohh and she happened to have on an extremely SHORT skirt while sitting on a small pedestal chair. No lady, I do not want to have to look at your FUPA. NASTY I was in Green Publix and saw this lady's shiny gel nails and I said ok let me try it again. It was after hours for the place next door so I parked there. The manager screamed at me and said to move my car it didn't matter that store was closed. OK fine. Then some guy did my gel nails with four coats of pink and it started chipping in 4-5 days. GARBAGE for 25$. Then he gets up and leaves while I am sitting in his chair- leaves meaning goes home. I came here because it was close to the hotel. I told them I had an ingrown and was assured she could handle it. She spent more time directing someone else's pedi than doing mine. When it came time to work my ingrown she told me she didn't WANT to lift and cut it out. I should go to a Doctor and have it done. At first I wanted a particular color of gel but it didn't look as good on my fingers as I had envisioned. They did an excellent job to find a color that I liked and accommodated me. All my nails are shaped unevenly, it's not clean at all, she didn't bother cleaning up the sides of my nails and she left them looking terrible and tried to convince me she did a good job. I think a blind person would've done a better job. I can't believe the lady who did my nails even has her license. All my nails are shaped differently and I can't even believe how bad they are. I am not one to write reviews, however I had such a terrible and upsetting experience there yesterday that I feel the need to let people know. I had a mani/pedi by a gentlemen who's name I don't know. Long story short, he rushed through everything and was being careless. He kept nicking and scratching me and finally on the third one, he cut my cuticle pretty badly. The initial pain was so much that I yelled out. He immediately started putting pressure on it with cotton balls and poured all this crap...oil, powder, etc. to try and make the bleeding stop, but it didn't work. After several minutes of trying to stop the bleeding I was very upset and asked him to stop so I could leave since it was impossible to finish the manicure. He apologized, however it was very upsetting because it was caused by him unnecessarily rushing and being careless. I still paid for the pedicure, which you would think they would have told me not to. And no manager came over to apologize or see what happened. In the 17 years that I've been getting my nails done I've never had such a bad experience. read more
