Terrible service!! I'm beyond disappointed with my nails. Everything was extremely overpriced, and what you actually get for the service is below the bare minimum. They act like they don't even want to use their own products as if they're running out of supplies. The tech cut my finger while clipping my cuticles it was bleeding, and she tried to ignore it until I asked her to please clean it. I also told her I didn't want my nails too short, and she kept filing them down to the point where I couldn't even scratch my skin. It felt careless and rushed. When you describe what you want, they'll discourage you with unreasonably high prices, just to push you into letting them do whatever they feel like doing. Very lazy vibe and no attention to detail. I felt laughed at, not taken seriously, and overall disrespected. I did not enjoy my service, and my nails definitely don't reflect the price I paid. Never coming back. read more

I visited a couple month ago for the first time. I was here for almost two hour for a regular pedicure. I requested a French tip design, and my first red flag was the tech struggling with the design. The lines were not coming out clean and the worst part it was not drying so she kept smearing it as she worked on other toes and had to go back and redo them. It was not until the label faced me I realized she was using a gel nail polish (gel will not air dry). By then, I've been in this chair 1.5 hours and told her to please stop and to paint my nails all white. The work was sloppy and uneven. No apologies for the hold up or explanation as to what was going on when she kept looking at the nail polish bottle. Poor experience and customer service overall. read more

I found my nail place in the valley! I knew when calling to make an appointment, the lady called me "honey." Made an appointment for a mani pedi at 6:15. Only took 5-7 minutes to drive there from my house. Came in and the lady in the front had me pick a color - picked a pink OPI color and they sat me down. There were maybe 3-4 other customers there. A lady started on my feet right away - already a good sign. I've found some places tend to overbook and I've had to wait. It had been a while since I got a pedicure so it hurt a little. But she did a good job, didn't say much though. The girl who did my manicure, Kelly was super nice and talkative and also did a good job. This place is amazing! After my original lady retired... I was stressed to find a new spot. On a whim I decided to try this place and oh my god it's incredible. I've had Kevin a few times - he listened to what I wanted, I told him I do hair so my nails usually don't last that long and he suggested doing a dip. Dip is everything! Not only was I able to grow out my real nails, they last so long! I'm a hairstylist and hair dye doesn't even stain them! He's now on vacation so I had daisy today Daisy - incredible! I am so happy with my nails. I showed her a photo, she gave me realistic expectation and exceeded! I am so lucky to have two technicians who know what they are doing. These guys are pros. Listen to them when they give advice. They don't try to up sell or have hidden charges. They know all the trends and what to do. The photo I included is my nails from Kevin after FOUR WEEKS. That's four weeks of hair dye, being in water constantly, and I even moved. The black nails are what Daisy did today and I am so in love. Again, these are my real nails that have never been able to be this long if I hadn't taken Kevin's advice. I always book the first appointment of the day and have been taken right on time. I came here to get a pedicure with friends. When a nail tech started on my friends gel pedi she got out new tools and opened them up from new packaging. She then lifted up a box and put some tools away and then kept the new tools. Or so I thought, however her next moves made me super suspicious. When she moved on to me she opened the "new tools" and then tilted her cart so I couldn't see what she was doing. She moved some tools to the back and put other tools in the front. When she pulled out the cuticle nippers they had a red mark on them and they didn't have a cover like the new ones I just saw in the package. She tried to use an old pair on me so I stopped her and asked for new tools. She showed me the wrapping that she threw away and insisted they were new and clean. However when I pointed out they had no cover and she had put the new tools toward the back, her male coworker chimed in and said that they were new and explained to me that they get rusty when they get autoclaved. Which is not true and I knew he was lying as a science college graduate. He then went on to unnecessarily explain/make up something about the tools to try to deter me from protesting and pushing forward with my gut feeling. When I responded and said "we'll why is she the only one with her tools covered so I can't see it. And why does it not have a cover on the tool when I just saw it did" and it was silent after that. I then added "something ain't adding up". And again silence. The nail tech then got up and got a new file and scrubber. While she did that I leaned over to look at her cart and saw the new tools in the back and the old tools marked with some type of red marker were toward the front toward her. She just pretended to open the new ones but had no intention to use them. That's why she has it covered. She also had a used nail File that she had set ready to use on me. I knew it was used because it had the white marks on it from someone else's nails being filed. I'm super big on hygiene and I can't believe she tried to lie to me and then her coworker stepped in to try to gaslight me and boost her lie. I saw the proof with my own eyes. And she even proved my point by going to get new clean tools. Honestly such bull!! I still paid my full price of The pedicure and even tipped when they gave me horrible service. However I will say she was talented and my pedicure was very nice. But the hygiene is a big no no. Below I attached a pic of her shady cart. I was out by like 6:30 at the latest. Didn't get the name of the guy who did my nails but he did an amazing job and shaped my nails perfectly. Lady who did my pedi did well also. The first day after I left my nail polish on my toes were completely messed up by no fault of mine. I decided to finally try this place out after a very bad experience at another. My very first experience at this salon was great, which is why I came back. The 3 visits following my first were not so great. They over book appointments, are not organized, and take walk ins while they leave customers with appointments waiting. As a result, they rush through each appointment, don't do such a great job, and cut you in multiple places since they're rushing. They don't listen to customers, are rude, unprofessional, and do whatever they feel is right. The last 3 times I've called and scheduled my appointments in advance. When I've arrived, I've had to wait 20+ minutes. Also, the nail techs I've specifically booked an appointment with, I never get. The excuse is "they had another appointment". So why do you book 2 people with the same person at the same time? Today I had an appointment at 1pm with Daisy. When I arrived, Daisy had no recollection of my appointment. However, the day before, I specially spoke with her and booked my appointment with her for today... only to arrive and be told my appointment isn't noted in their appointment book, and there is another individual booked at 1pm. How is that my problem? I was left waiting for 15 minutes only to be told to wait for someone else who was finishing up, which would've taken another 20 minutes. What bothers me the most is the fact that no one apologized for the error and made it seem like they're doing me a favor. I walked out and will never come back here. Nails came out nice but unfortunately they came off one by one on the second day, I was very disappointed but I let it go, I came by again the following week or so to get a refill done and same thing, my nails started falling off. K Nails is an awesome place to get your mancuire and pedicure done. Its cheap and they do a good job!! Pedicure is only 14 bucks and mancuire is only 9 bucks!! They havea good selcetion of OPI nail polishes. I hate when I go to a nail salon and they don't have any OPI. Their color selection is also pretty good. They don't have a lot new summer colors. I don't normally like writing bad reviews but I always find reviews helpful before going to a salon! I called and made an appointment with Daisy today and it's my second time going to her . When I got there is was still working on someone which is totally fine! I asked her if she can do my pedicure as well and she said no since she was busy! I was bummed since she is the only person there that know how to do nails! Note this salon only has three employees including Daisy who had mentioned previously to me that she is the owner! There are two other older ladies and one is her mom! Both times I been stuck having to get a pedicure with the other ladies and it's awful! First time Daisy mom did my pedicure and it was so bad that Daisy had to redo the whole thing when she was finished! This time around it was the other lady who did my toes and when she was finished it was so poorly done. The nails were filed cricket not to mention the polish with awful since the cuticle were not cut! I asked for a file and I started filing my own toes to straighten it! What bothered me most the was after Daisy had said she cannot do my pedicure since she was busy the lady doing my pedicure said that Daisy is willing to do my pedicure if I decide to do gel on my toes ?!??? Why would she only be willing to give me a pedicure if I wanted gel on my toes because it's eight dollars more ? And while I was getting my nails done Daisy was answering calls and taking appointments after me I thought she was booked and couldnt do my pedicure?!?! With all that being said and done I started panicking panicking about my toes and Daisy did not approach me and ask me what's wrong or even look at it herself. As a manager/owner you should be concerned about why I am upset about my pedicure! As I'm checking out she decides to get up to give me my change and rewards card with a stamp on it and I told her I did not need it since I would not be coming back because I cannot come back to a nail salon that only has one person who knows how to do nails! Not to mention the fact that she wasn't willing to do my pedicure unless it was gel! Good luck staying in business! read more
