My nails are AWFUL. Extremely clumpy, some are insanely thick, and none of them are even the same shape. On my left hand, every nail is different. On my right, some are similar but all are crooked, curved on one side, and straight on the other. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is not what I asked for at ALL. It wasn't even the shape I wanted, because the lady doing my nails started filing into this shape without me asking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Almost every single nail is crooked, lumpy, or too thick. My girl absolutely killed it. She did exactly the picture I showed her and she was pretty quick. About 2 hours for a basic pedi and a full set with one design on hand. Total was $110 and it was worth every penny in my opinion! The atmosphere was pretty chill and they were very friendly! I first came here for a pedicure in March and had a poor experience. The wait was long (even with an appointment), it was expensive, and the pedicure was not very good. When I was searching for a salon near me for my most recent pedicure, I chose this one and didn't realize it was the same one until I got there, but I had made an appointment and didn't want to be rude and not show up. I should have trusted my instincts. Despite having an appointment, I sat in the chair with my feet in lukewarm water for nearly 30 minutes until someone came over. I actually had to ask them to add more hot water because my feet were cold. I opted for a $35 treatment (last time I selected a more expensive one that wasn't worth it) with French, so I figured it would come to $40-$45. I was flabbergasted when I went to pay and it was $55. The woman didn't speak much English and I didn't see any upside of arguing the price when the treatment had already been done, but either they charge an extra $20 for French (highway robbery) or they just charge what they feel like and rely on people like me not making a fuss. I still tipped her $10, but it left me with such a negative feeling about the business. The pedicure itself was better than the last, but still just OK, certainly not worth the final total of $65. I moved here from NY where I could get an amazing French pedicure for under $30 with tip, I never would have imagined Omaha would cost double. The salon was packed and had a full line of people waiting both times, so I don't know what I'm missing, but I will definitely be trying a new place next time. read more

Can I just say I am so impressed! I am visiting from out of town and was due for a fill but my nail place back home couldn't fit me in mid week so I decided to take a chance on getting them done during my trip, and I am SO HAPPY that I did! I called ahead at 4:30 PM on a Friday and wasn't sure if they'd be able to fit me in. They said come at 6:45 (they close at 7). Not only did she do an amazing job, but she stayed late to do it. Overall, my nails look pretty nice. But there are some major things that contributed to my rating. 1. I sat in a pedicure chair for 20 minutes before anyone spoke to me. No water in the basin, nothing. Just sat there. 2. I asked for silver glitter - the woman insisted it was silver before and while applying gold to my nails and then, when I protested again, she added MORE gold. My wedding is this weekend and I specifically needed it to be silver to match my jewelry. 3. She didn't clean up the underside of the acrylics much and I had some big globe I had to file myself on the underside. After the gold silver debacle I didn't even bother reminding her I'd asked for a brow wax - I was ready to leave out of frustration. In the end the nails do look pretty nice, but the color issue is quite a big deal considering I asked multiple times for silver and she insisted it was silver. It isn't. I'm honestly in tears over spending so much on the wrong color but didn't have it in me to argue with the tech after a few back and forth. UPDATE: contacted the shop over Facebook messenger and they were apologetic and very responsive. They got me in immediately the next morning and not only fixed the color, but shaped them a little better and cleaned up the edges. I went there today after hearing great things about the salon with my friend who had a great experience. However, my experience was not so good I left with three of my 10 nails have holes in the acrylic my nails are way too thick and I wanted silver Chrome accent nails and that is not what I got and I wanted artwork and what I got was a bunch of stuff I don't even know what it is. It was absolutely not worth the money. I spent $70 for my nails to get done and when I complained to one technician she gave me to another technician who continued to do the same thing. I will never go back. My Chrome accent nails (see below) looks like a kindergartner painted on them. I work hard for my money. I can't believe this is what I have to walk around with now. Was invited to come here with three of my friends to get mani-pedis. I chose to just get a manicure/full set of acrylics. We had an appointment and I was able to get into a chair right away! After my indecisiveness of what design and color I wanted to get done my nail tech started her thing right away. She was thorough but I definitely wasn't shy to point out when I noticed something bothersome to me ex: uneven length, shape, or spots missing polish. I got a rounded square shape with a fun yellow and daisy design. The acrylics ended up staying on VERY well which normally I have an issue with them staying on so that was nice and they color held up very well. I got the gel polish. I was not the one who paid so honestly I'm not sure how much the full set with designs and gel polish totaled out to be but all 4 of us were able to get our nails done for a reasonable price ESPECIALLY for how good they turned out. read more

I feel very bad to have to write such a bad review about this place because I have never felt so bad about paying too much for my bad nails. They were definitely overpriced for the service they do. They charged me 60$ for a Signature pedicure that included wax but ended up skipping the wax and didn't do a good work with the hotstone and massage. I did a full set and my Manicure was the worst I have done so far. She didn't paint my nails properly and kept complaining about not getting Gel Polish. I think its the customer's opinion and wish to get whatever they wanted to do, but the service was definitely bad for Signature package I had taken. I kept asking her to shape my nails properly and she didnt do it properly as well. Wish I could have taken the Classic one and paid less instead of Signature. Also they took bill before completing the service and that was my mistake to have paid beforehand and added tip for such a bad service. I was kind of disappointed in this place. I called almost a week ahead to make an appointment to get a manicure with one of my bridesmaids for 5:30. She was running a little late so we when she did get there I tried to tell someone we were ready. No one came back to grab us for probably 15/20 minutes. I finally got grabbed at 6:00 by a man, which I don't care except after reading reviews I requested a certain woman so obviously I didn't get her. But what bothered me the most was my bridesmaid didn't even start her nails until I was already done. I called ahead for two of us so how did this happen? It made me upset. She drove all the way to Lincoln to get her nails done with me to just sit there and watch me and then me sit there and watch here. My fiancé and I went in to get pedicures. The lady that did his did a great job. I had gel on my toes and the lady that was on my feet started to peel the gel off causing pain to my toe. I asked her not to do it so she gets the drill and took it off the big toe then proceeded to the second toe and started peeling that one. Basically she wanted to take a short cut because if she calls herself a professional she should know you DO NOT peel gel. read more

I brought my daughter there for a special girls afternoon and we waited for 30 minutes with an appointment. the pedicure itself took less time then how long we waited. it was very over priced. when I called to book the appointment I was told the kids pedicure comes with a design, so that's what we expected. they did not give her one until after it was all done and I asked. they then put a cheap sticker on her toes and tried to charge me $5 for that. overall the absolute worst pedicure experience I have ever had. read more

Wish I could give less than one star. I've been going here for years. This week they messed up my toenail when they removed the flip flop and toe separator. I asked them to fix it, she polished it with the wrong color. Then the next day another toe nail smudged when I wore a shoe. I went back and asked them to fix it. They told me to find my color. I asked for help, I didn't know the color. The owner was so rude. Told me to find the color and walked away. This happened over and over. I finally confronted her and she actually put her hands on me to move me away from other customers. She told me I was cheap and was trying to get a new polish without paying for it. I just wanted her to fix their mistake. Every time I'd say that, she'd walk away. All in all I spent about 2 1/2 hours between two days trying to get a decent pedicure. She finally painted the messed up nails properly and then put a new coat over the other nails. The entire time she muttering in a language I don't speak. VERY, VERY RUDE. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know not to go there. read more

I took a chance on K-Nails after the manicure and shellac I got from another nail salon in town started chipping and peeling for the second time 8 days after I got it done. The gentleman I worked with was gracious, knowledgeable, and helped me understand how to better choose which service and product to get the best results. (Don't do chrome colors in shellac. Use the dip powder if you want chrome.) I was pleasantly surprised that the total for my color change was less than I was expecting. I've been back a couple of times since, and enjoyed my experiences. I would consider gift cards as holiday gifts, and will be returning to K-Nails in the near future. read more
