Let's start with the good. Karen, our server, was great at suggesting some items to us and explaining why they were good. We only wanted a variety of apps so she gave some good suggestions. She was attentive and efficient. The food she suggested: elote, very good! We did get the guac and chips too to use the chips with the elote. That was the problem. The guac was somewhat tasteless, but the chips were very bad. They tasted like they were made in old rancid oil and they make them onsite. They even smelled like old oil. We let her know and she brought a new batch. Still tasted bad. We suggested her to try them and she did and agreed they were not up to par. I felt the grease even coated my tongue. The cornbread was excellent. Because the chips were so bad we got the guac and rest of the elote to go so we can eat at home with some good chips. We got the bill and even though they agreed they weren't as good as normal they still charged us for everything. That is a problem. She should have had them take them off the bill. We still tipped 18% but that isn't good when they don't make it right. We may give them another chance but still charging males that less likely for sure. read more

We just went to K Rico for the first time. We were a party of 9. We first had apps and drinks in the bar area and then moved to the main dining area. Tip was automatically added- I get it was prob because of our party size, but if there was a choice, it was def not worthy of a 20 percent tip. There was hardly anyone in the place for the entire 2 hours. It was so hot, we were all sweating. And we got charged for salsa to go with our tacos in the bar area and then at the table. We ordered entrees that most people put salsa on (fajitas , burritos, etc). I asked for salsa to go with them. And to go with the chips. When the bill came, they charged us for both sides of salsa they brought for the entrees. I questioned the server and I said- that's like charging for ketchup at an American place. He said- well if u order a gallon of ketchup, they would charge you. I said- u brought 2 small sides of salsa! We had ordered 2 orders of guac and an order of mixed salsas in the bar area ( we paid for those salsas). We asked if chips were free refills. The waitress said- yes they are but u only get 2 bowls of them. There were 9 of us and the chips were on a bowl about the size of a cereal bowl. So we asked again- are the chips free refills? She said- I don't really know how to explain it. Needless to say- first time, last time customers. I guess that's why the place was empty at 7pm on a Friday night. read more

We went twice during the week, very quiet since it was only 3PM, the food is really good and the service and staff were perfect. We stayed near the hotel nearby, had the view of the restaurant and saw it does get packed during the dinner hours. Both times we were given great service by two different waitresses. The chips with salsa are to die for, the salsa so fresh and the chips have a savory seasoning to them. You can add beans to your quesadillas, they come out packed full of meats, cheese and flavor! The two taquitos are HUGE! But they are also packed with cheese and shredded chicken, don't be fooled by the burnt ends of the taquito, that's all part of the delicious experience of these taquitos. First I'll start by saying when we return to Naples we are definitely visiting K Rico Mexican Grill again. Naples is gorgeous, clean, classy with amazing views and architect. The restaurant is located across the street from the bay and outdoor sitting is available. The views are amazing and so relaxing to look at. When hub and I first walked in we were blown away with how beautifully decorated this restaurant is. The colors and light fixtures are breathtaking. We were warmly welcomed and decided to sit at the bar to enjoy happy hour. This is where we met bartender Sean. Wow, such an awesome guy with a fantastic personality. We appreciate that Sean went over the happy hour specials. We were impressed with very reasonable prices . Food and cocktails were delicious. So many laughs with Sean and I cannot emphasize enough how much we enjoyed ourselves. We highly recommend and plan on returning. If we decide to move to Naples we will definitely be loyal customers! read more

Fine. But with the higher price point, "fine" isn't good enough for me. The food just didn't stand out and when it did, it was for the wrong reasons. The chips and salsa/queso were probably my favorite part (and the beer lol). Though I do usually prefer a thin tortilla chip to thick ones. I got the veggie fajitas - good quality vegetables, cooked well and good portion but it lacked pizazz! They had almost no spice at all! High points: good location, great vibe and atmosphere inside, top-quality service. The experience was somewhere between three and four stars, but the fact that I have no inclination to return made it three. read more

I am sadly giving K Rico's no stars. The new chef totally changed the menu & the new food had no personality. The soup lacked flavor. Very disappointed. Bring back the former chicken soup, please. The guacamole was obviously not fresh, tasted like it was straight from a food service vat - nothing was fresh. The homemade salsas were taken off the menu. Why? The former K Rico's salsas were amazing, please bring them back. The grouper tiki was hardly edible, totally lacked flavor & had no personality. I will not be coming back. K Rico is a solid Mexican place with an amazing view over the bay if you sit outside. It is located in an upscale mixed use residential and retail plaza. We started with the guacamole and chips which were average. We asked to have it without onions but we were notified that it was already pre-made with onions. I had two a la carte tacos, one chicken and one with shrimp. If you order 2 or more it comes with rice and beans. The shrimp taco was a bit too salty and both were kind of plain. The rice and beans were not made the traditional way, they had some unusual spices. Not to say they weren't good but they were definitely different. The best dish was the chicken quesadilla which was moist and had just the right amount of cheese. The atmosphere, inside and out, was very nice and the server was wonderful. read more

Went for lunch on a Wednesday and discovered it was happy hour all day. Yay! Had our one year old grandson with us. Our server, Julio, couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating! Gave us some great recommendations and did not try to hurry us as some places do when they see a child in the party. The food and drinks were excellent. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful view of the water and beautiful weather. When Julio found out we were celebrating my son's birthday, he brought him a delicious dessert that was complimentary. I am sure it gets busier in the season, but I can't wait to go back. read more

Oh no! I can't believe that I recommend this place is so many people in the past I have been a customer of K Rico since they opened and have really enjoyed their food over the years. However, between April and September 2025, the restaurant must have changed hands. The food is now terrible! You can get a better meal at chipotle The menu is changed. The prices are higher (which I wouldn't mind if the food were still good). Let's start with something as simple as the beans. K Rico was renowned for their amazing beans which come as a side to so many of their entrees. Now it's just flavorless black beans in a liquid that looks as unappealing as the flavor. Next up is the chicken, which previously was braised in tomato and onion, and so tender and flavorful. Now it's overly cooked grilled and chopped chicken. Since this is the basis of so many of their signature appetizers and entrees, you can cross chicken nachos, chicken quesadillas, and even the chicken enchiladas off the menu now. Speaking of the enchiladas, they were previously called "enchiladas Katrina" but now they have had a name change and a flavor change. Instead of two large enchiladas overflowing with flavor and ingredients, you now get three medium sized tortillas covered with chopped lettuce Even the guacamole is different, and tinged brown instead of bright green. I am so very sad that one of my favorite restaurants in Naples has changed so much. I would speak to the staff that I've gotten to know over the years, but there was only one familiar face among the staff. So much has changed since April that K Rico seems like a completely different restaurant today Because I've been a loyal customer for so long, I'll go back one more time in the hopes that the restaurant reads this review and goes back to the old recipes and quality for which it was so well known for so long. Service was good and they were very friendly. The queso appetizer was decent. The cornbread appetizer was very good. Unfortunately, the entrees really ruined the experience for the most part. A few of us ordered fajitas. They had absolutely no seasoning on any of them whatsoever. Not even a little salt. One ordered enchiladas and he found them very bland and one-note. The rice and beans with them also had almost no seasoning. The last person ordered the grouper tacos and they were very good. We were mostly disappointed but there may be other good offerings on the menu like the grouper tacos. read more

Beware of your charges on your bill! Dined here on a Tuesday. (Website says $2.00 street taco Tuesday) We ordered 2 ground beef and 2 chicken. Chicken was inedible and we both had to spit it out. They were taken off the bill, but we were double charged for beef tacos. Server conveniently forgot it was two dollar taco Tuesday so we were charged 14.00 which is two dollars more than full price . After the bill was adjusted she told us there is a 4 dollar upgrade for corn tortillas. After conferring with the bartender, he said there's a two dollar upgrade then she came back and said there's there's a three dollar upgrade. Being a local Naples resident I certainly could afford a full price taco meal, but it's fun to hit the happy hours and they took the happy out of the hour. I wouldn't go back. read more

Ordered chips and salsa/guacamole and received a bowl of chips the same size as the dips(about 12 chips) asked for more chips as it was hard to finish the dip without chips and never received them. Instead of maybe discounting the bill she offered to wrap up the extra guac and salsa we couldn't eat without chips. Also ordered tacos without onions and despite confirming twice, got tacos covered in onion. Never got water refills or asked if we needed more Margaritas. read more

If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. The hostess seated us and we waited over 10 minutes before the same hostess came by can gave us water. We asked if she was our server and she said no and that they were busy tonight. We waited at least another 5 minutes before a server came and took our drink order. So we waited over 15 minutes just to get a server for a drink order. My husband ordered a pitcher of red Sangria. It took the server another 15 minutes to bring us the Sangria. By this time we were ready to walk out. Then the server asked if we wanted to order any food. We told her we just ate and just wanted drinks for now. She then told us she can't just serve us drinks. Then my husband said she can take the Sangria back and we will leave because we waited over 30 minutes for service and she never said at the time of the order that we needed to order food. Then she said nevermind and walked away. This restaurant has a bar area with seats and there were people sitting at the bar with drinks but no food. My husband then asked another server if we can speak to a Manager, the server said he will find her and then comes back a few minutes later and says he can't find the manager. So we asked for the Manager's name and the server said Heather. So I then got up and spoke to the hostess that seated us and asked her if she can get Heather the Manager to come to our table. She said okay, but she never got the manager. We watched her go to our server and say something to her. This is proof that not only the customer service is terrible at this restaurant but the manager doesn't care. We ended up walking out and left the Sangria on the table. My husband did speak to a lady at the front who said she was a Manager or she could have been another server because the Manager at this restaurant apparently doesn't care. She said that they don't want people to get drunk which is why the policy is to order food with drinks. Then my husband said how do you know how many drinks a person had prior to coming in this restaurant? Also we waited 15 minutes just to order drinks because there was no server. We will never patronize this restaurant in the future. We had an awful experience, one of the worst ever. It is a good thing we ate prior to coming to this restaurant. Based on our experience I do not recommend. The service lacks and apparently the Manager on duty doesn't care about customers. They only care about money and ripping people off. This place sounds great in theory, but must cater to clientele who have never previously tried Mexican food. Tex Mex or even Mex this is not. No offense to the Brits, but this is what I imagine British food stereotypically tastes like with minimal seasoning or flavor. See below for details. Food - Ordered vegetarian tacos, kids quesadilla with rice, mushroom quesadillas, and cauliflower tacos. Ordered chips and the salsa flight with guac as an appetizer, which is not complimentary (already raising suspicion). Let's start with the chips and salsa. The chips were good, but the 3 salsas were uninspired to say the least. We would have been better off bringing our own Tostitos salsa from Walmart than eating this unsalted, somewhat sweet, extremely bland offering that we paid extra for. The guac was fresh, but tasted more like plain avocado than actual guac. As for the entrees, they screwed up the veggie taco order and we had to send the plate back due to an erroneous order (bean instead of tofu taco). This can happen. But they inexplicably served our son's quesadilla with barely melted cheese (just a tortilla with folded shredded cheese inside) as well, which is baffling. We sent this back to be actually cooked like a quesadilla. More shamelessly, the white rice that accompanied his quesadillas was literally plain rice that someone likely took out of what I can only presume is an instant pot in the back. There was no salt, seasoning, spice, color, or flavor of any kind. The cauliflower tacos were also undercooked (imagine eating raw cauliflower). The only redeeming entree was the mushroom quesadillas, which were warm, crispy, and decently flavored, although again with no hint of spice or attempts to add flavor. Dessert - Tres leches was solid, and the flan was decent. Good effort here. Service - Disinterested and somewhat inattentive. We had to ask her for a spoon a few times, even though we saw her chilling in the restaurant not doing anything during our meal. We had to ask for water and menus to be brought to the table as well. Parking - Very convenient right in front the restaurant, perhaps because others already knew what a mediocre place this was. Availability - Tables galore inside the restaurant. I was asked to make a reservation, but not needed whatsoever for a party of 9 on a Friday night. Verdict: If you are looking for G-rated, unflavored Mexican food, this is your spot. Otherwise, hit up Taco Bell for your meal and come back here for dessert. read more

Great place for Happy Hour! They even offer it on the weekends! We sat at the bar and enjoyed the views of the bay and Tin City! The nacho special was very filling and delicious! They were topped with lots of protein of your choice (we went with chicken), fresh guac, jalapeños, cheese, and pico! The perfect snack after a day in the sun! Our first visit to K Rico's, and it was an enjoyable one. The vibe and milieu are industrial chic; the food is fresh and well-presented. My spouse and I each had the queso fundido fuego and chips, Ojai chicken taco, short rib taco, margaritas, and spouse had a shot of Casamigos mezcal. Everything was delicious! We are not spicy food people, so we requested everything be sans jalapeño and toned down and they graciously complied. The server was lovely and very helpful. Prices are amazingly reasonable. Our only 'cons' were that the menu is a little limited, and parking is a nightmare. But all in all, it was a great meal in a new find. We will be back! read more

Quality Mexican food in a great location. We enjoyed the covered outdoor seating and had great service the whole night. We started with a full order of chips and guacamole, which was fantastic. The chips are a very unique style but we all loved them. They were happy to bring more chips throughout our dinner as well. For my meal, I ordered 3 tacos, which included rice and beans. The food arrived in a timely manner and was just how I ordered it. The tacos were packed full with toppings and very good. It did seem like they were a little runny, which turned the tortillas soggy.
