This restaurant is very authentic from the moment you walk in. The service is amazing, if you need recommendations they know exactly how to explain every dish to a T. Also their drinks are soooo delicious! During these times (corona) unfortunately I haven't experienced the live music but I'm excited for that in the future. The bathroom is extremely clean too which is very important!! There's so much artwork and colors that really detail the restaurants Mexican touch which is appreciated so much I love this place! I am originally from Texas so I have quite a variety of Mexican and TexMex at my fingertips. This place has one of if not the best Torta de Milanesa de pollo that I've ever had!! Hands down. Festive environment. Service was not outstanding but good. Gratuity is automatically added to dine in guests. I wasn't expecting that part but I guess that's part of the culture here in Florida? First restaurant I've been to that's added their own gratuity of 18%. I would've tipped 15-22% depending on service. I would say the service was equal to the 18% that was automatically calculated, but tipping should always be an option especially for a party of 2. Just a heads up on that. And for that I've given the 3 stars. My BF had the asada and it was tasty as well. read more

But they were not willing to remake it until I got a little angry. Which I really do not like to do. Improve the customer service, please. I like this place, because they marinate their meats very well. They cook just right. I get my usuals which are steak a la mexicana or steak and onions. By now you guys should know I'm not a fan of rice that is not cooked the way I grew up with. And that's the only down fall here. I don't like the rice. Not to my taste. But everything else is beautiful, from the booths, to the food and to the decor of the restaurant. I would recommend this place for a nice dinner for after functions or small occasions. FOOD Having gone to the former location many times (also formerly known as Taco Caliente), I remember NOTHING. It was lifeless, flavorless, textureless... The food at the "NEW" Taco Ardiente has more flavor: the meat and corn are crushed by overuse of seasonings... yummy in a cheap way, but thus making it less "authentic Mexican" and more difficult to taste the freshness. Burritos seem more stuffed and there's a great variety of taco stuffings. SERVICE Whoever is at the counter always appears bored, but at least they are responsive and quick. SUMMARY Not authentic, but in a land where any Mexican food is hard to come by, definitely give this place a try. Especially for the low prices. read more

We had a great meal there. The mixed fajitas were DELICIOUS! They have a great seasoning with just a bit of heat. Tortillas are good as well, not sure if made in house but tasted very fresh. The presentation isn't amazing, chips come at the beginning but you just squirt the salsa from the table on them? Horchata was good. The service is excellent, very friendly. The food is good, but be careful of the staff adding a tip to your total charge. This happened to me 2 times without knowing. A friend of mine mentioned he had a tip added to his total charge and called the police. There isnt much the police can do since they add a$1-$5. Make sure you ask for a receipt and if you do not add a tip - put a slash or cross off the tip amount so they cannot add it after you leave. read more

The food is inexpensive and yummy! My husband and I order take out from here often. The Tacos are great and the hubby loves the California Burrito.
