I had these shoes from Portugal that belonged to my great aunt and couldn't find it in me to donate them. Fortunately they fit and still look great except the soles and heel needed some fixing. So I called around for pricing. Many places wouldn't give prices/estimates over the phone, but K Shoe did and although a little higher than others they had great views and sometimes you get what you pay for! Not only did the shoes look great, but they knew I had a flight to catch in a few days and finished my shoes 2 days earlier than what they original quoted me. The gentleman who runs K shoe repair should not be allowed to deal with people. First, he called my wife a "bitch" right to her face for complaining about the horrible job one of his cobblers did on her cowboy boot resole, after three separate visits to have them correctly repaired. Then, after I intervened asking him if he would pay $95 for a crappy job like what he charged my wife (like most people I don't really appreciate my wife being called names by a swarmy, tiny little worm posing as a human being) he even kept trying to goad me into laying him out by telling me he'd hit me, but he "doesn't hit women". Classy. I didn't feel like putting someone in the ICU that day, so I resisted. Not a pretty scene, but it just shows what a lousy piece of garbage this clown is who runs the place. 19th Nov. I now have a pair of shoes that look old and worn out. Read below. I took a pair of my favorite patent leather shoes to get one sole re-glued. They also suggested to have the heels replaced for both so I agreed. The shoes were in perfect conditions. The leather had No scratches, no nicks... K Shoes gave them back very damaged all over the leather. The damages being pretty visible. The shoes were clamped so badly the leather is dented into, lifted off, scratched.... you name it, my shoes have it! The glue used is super visible on the sides. I had glued one of the shoes myself and I had done a much better job. I asked for a refund and all I got is that they wanted to take pictures to assess it. This "job" cost me $24!!! These people do not know what they are doing. They are incompetent, careless and do not have the minimum skills to accomplish a quality job. They have zero customer service skills too. 4th Dec After I posted my review in google with photos showing how my shoes had been really damaged, the owner texted me offering to "fix them". How can you fix leather that has been scratched off? Not to mention, there is no way I would let him touch anything of mine ever again. Today I wore my shoes for the second time since I picked them up. First time I wore them, I had gone to dinner and barely walked in them for 10min. This second time, I walked less than 100feet when the sole they had glued came completely off. Even the bottom sole they had put on came off too!!!!! So not only did they damage quite visibly my shoes but they did such a lousy job and used such bad quality materials, the sole did not hold. By the way, I had glued one of the soles before I first took my shoes. That sole has, to this date, remained perfectly glued. And there are no glue run-offs, unlike the job they so unprofessionally did. read more

My mother is 88 years old. She's had many hip operation which left her with one leg shorter than the other by 2 1/2 inches. Karman The owner of KShoe Repair, told me to buy my mother a good pair of sneakers and that he would replace the whole bottom of the shoe to make it 2 1/2 inches higher so that my mom's legs would be even when she stands up. So we first did it with a pair of black shoes and it worked well and then we did it with the sneakers. You go to an orthopedic place they're going to charge you $300. I took my heavily insulated hunting boots in to have the soles glued back on. It was after hunting season ended so I wasn't in a rush. I spoke with the owner who said he did this often. I was given a two week wait time but I wasn't in a hurry. I got a call to pick them up on schedule. They came out looking very good with a clean glue line around the boots. I'll have to wait until cold weather to try them out but I think they will be great. read more
