But I'm over that now, and I'm back to amend my review. Over the last few months, Xhale has completely won me over. My former 3 star opinion is now a solid 5 stars, and here's why: The staff. They are always, ALWAYS friendly. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming. Everyone is very knowledgeable about their inventory. They take time to learn what we (the customer) prefer, which in turn makes their recommendations thoughtful and worth considering. If they are unfamiliar with a particular product (which doesn't happen often), they aren't afraid to admit it, but you can bet the next time you stop in they'll remember your question (even if you don't!) and they'll have the answer you need! The inventory: it's another reason love Xhale. The selection is good, the stock is mostly consistent, and the brands they feature are higher quality than the average vape shop fare. Prices are somewhat above average, but for me this is acceptable and balanced out by their business hours. Sure, you might find the same product for less at another shop, but not after 9pm you won't! They charge $45 And force you to keep it. A simple look at the pictures on the box is all it requires. Treating your customers like they're criminals is wrong, especially after charging 10% over MSRP. This place is simply ripping people off. The staff very friendly and VERY helpful. I do not know if you know, but in Seattle, they charge a crayz tax for liquor (not beer and wine). The staff member had to point it out to me, or I would not have known. In addition, they are not allowed to sell THC drinks because of rules and regulations. I don't think you can blame Total Wine for that, but I am sure people do. HOWEVER, they do try to hide the true costs when it comes to liquor, and that seemed a little sketch. If we see a large price sign, that usually indicates a price, and that is not how they did it there. However, the prices there are still the cheapest, so whether it was Texas or Washington, Total Wine is still my favorite place to buy drinks.

There are a variety of price points (though see below regarding prices). The cigars seem to be in pretty good shape. I don't really judge places by customer service, but the guy in there was fine. Not overly friendly, but not standoffish either. But, again, that doesn't matter too much to me either way. There are two major negatives. As mentioned in other reviews, this place is expensive. More than Seattle expensive. More than boutique cigar shop Seattle expensive. The average markup seem to be about $3 for anything in the $10-$12 range. After tax I basically paid 20 bucks for Montecristo White Churchill, which I can get in Shoreline or Seattle for less than 15 usually. If I lived in Issaquah, I would order my cigars online. The cost of a humidor is worth the savings. As it was, I was visiting, so I had to bite the bullet. A smaller negative, is the lack of box matches. Any decent cigar stores ever visited gives away cheap box matches to light your cigar. He only had book matches. That to me is like having bad mac & cheese at a barbecue joint. The brisket may be phenomenal, but you wonder how they can screw up something as simple as mac & cheese. Note to cigar shop owners: invest in cheap box matches. There's nothing more annoying than having to light a cigar with book matches. Especially when you're charging so much for cigars.
