First time getting my nails done and I actually got my friend Courtney to do them she did an amazing job and very helpful with guidance of what I should start with she did manicure with gel on with color and design the idea for this year Halloween costume for us it was Popeyes and olive oyl and she very good of giving me the design and details I want for this look. The price for me was $50 dollars total that includes the design and they do other services like lash services and brow services. And the staff where very welcoming when walking in very smooth check in they offered me a drink as soon I came in extra bonus to the service they offered nonalcoholic beverages and wine plus for my people who love brunch they served mimosa all day and this included with the service so I would highly recommended if you every want to treat yourself while doing some self care. My nail tech Courtney was very fast with getting my nails done at a reasonable timeframe and she very friendly and welcoming want to make sure every step of the way I was comfortable with everything. The atmosphere is very elegant and elevated and they have plenty of seating for you and your guests. The place is beautiful, I'll give them that. My typical nail place unfortunately has a car run into the building and they are doing Reno's so I found this place and it had decent enough reviews. It wasn't busy and based on the menu I selected a deluxe pedicure. My feet aren't pretty I know that but my favorite part is the massage. I could have sworn it said massage but then second guessed myself because I didn't have the menu in front of me. This person clearly was in a hurry. I sat down after two lady's had been there... and left way before their polish was even on!!! Like wtf! I will say the owner/manager gave me a partial refund but I still left her a tip because maybe she's having a bad day, or under the weather. This place was absolutely amazing. I had a guy do my nails. He had a sleeve tattoo and he was absolutely amazing. He did an amazing job with my nails. He was super polite very patient and just overall the quality of my nails is amazing. He matched my nail and spoke perfectly and asked me if I was OK with everything that he was doing along the way for example he would ask me about the length about the design if everything was going OK it was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be going there again and the fact that this was only $95 for a full set, including the charms and everything was amazing. I tipped him $20. The only complaint that I have was that there was a huge a$$ cockroach on the floor and the eyelash extension and eyebrow wax room that's next to the bathroom, but I mean it is that time of year so I can't really complain at all. One of the only reasons I'm not giving this place five stars is because the work area while they were doing my nails was not very clean at all. It still had the dust from the last person everywhere, including on the phone saying that they provide and mid nails he dropped one of the utensils he was using and didn't sanitize it or anything. I stumbled across this nail bar in my search of "luxury nail salons" in the area. When I say this establishment screams luxury! It is very Instagram-able. They have marble and white furniture, a flower wall, and an entire wall filled of acrylic and nail polish. I got my nails done by Mint and he did his thing on my nails. I got a full set, medium, WITH designs on all 10 nails and paid $60! In today's world, THAT IS 2007 prices and I loved it! It's really hard to find a decent basic manicure and pedicure (gel or no gel). Why? I first walked out of this place a year ago because the smell was overwhelming. Recently, I was desperate and running late so I called for a walk in appt. and they said come in. Starting w/ a basic pedicure this "nail tech" clipped the shht out of at least two of my toe cuticles. I was up all night aching from the big toe inflammation. Manicure was unpleasant. Desk was dirty, nothing sanitized. "Nail tech" clipped the shht out of my cuticles again. It's been 3 days and my nail is still bleeding, I can't even pull my pants up with my hand. I hesitated on this review because I'm not trying to be mean. But seriously, how hard is it to do a decent job on a basic manicure and pedicure. read more

Unfortunately my most recent experience was terrible to say the least. Back in 2024 I came regularly for dip powder nails every month with a nail tech that no longer works there. She always did fabulous work. I had stopped coming for awhile and and returned a few weeks ago for a very special event...my wedding! The nail tech I previously went to had since left so a different nail tech who also specialized in dip powder did my nails. I figured it would be alright since I'd gotten pedicures from other nail techs at that location that were always done well. I was very wrong. My nails looked nothing like the inspo picture I showed the tech. I'll include pictures of the inspo versus the results. I left the salon thinking I was just being over dramatic but when I looked closer and thought about those nails in my wedding photos I actually started crying. Not a single tear... like boohoo crying. The week of your wedding is stressful enough and that was just the cherry on top. In retrospect I should've just asked for the service to be redone, but again it was the week of my wedding I had been dealing with so many things, I was just exhausted. I ended up going somewhere else and getting another set that I was happy with. The nail tech that did my actual wedding nails told me the tech at KTech had over drilled my nails and they were now damaged. Additionally I found later that the pedicure I got there left me with toenail fungus. It's a story I laugh at now but in the moment I was a very distressed bride. I would say the service and quality of work has decreased drastically in recent months. You may have better luck depending on who you get but if it's something important please don't take the risk and avoid the pedicures altogether! read more

Due to scheduling issues on my part, I had to cheat on my friend and nail stylist this week !!cringe!! Luckily, I ran across this spot a few weeks ago online and although I'd never been there before or knew anyone that has, I was willing to try them simply off the aesthetic and promo page ALONE! From my first call, the staff was professional and courteous. I wasn't sure when I could make it but they offered me options. I noticed one tech tagged in their pix on IG so I asked to be scheduled with him...but I was assured that all the techs there provide the same level of quality work. Let me tell y'all....the location was easy to find and this place is absolutely beautiful inside! I'm partial to the color white because it's my favorite but GOSH the decor here is very regal and I think anyone would agree. It even smelled good in the bathroom!! Annnnnnd they have a full service BAR as well! (YEEEEEE) When I arrived my tech (Tony Q.) was on time and greeted me with a smile and was warm and friendly. Throughout the process he was upbeat and jovial, getting along very well with the employees and customers that arrived while he was working with me. He was accommodating, offering me water and checking occasionally to see if I needed to take a break from sitting. I have been looking for a nail salon that gives quality service & clean. I'm so happy I finally found one!! I made an appointment for a Saturday morning at 10 am for a gel mani & pedi. I was greeted nicely by the staff. The nail salon is beautiful. I did have to wait about 30 mins for my nail tech (Marie) arrive however once she did she did an amazing job and gave a great foot massage. I was offered a mimosa and even asked if I wanted a refill. All the nail instruments they used were in sterile package which was also a plus. While I was getting my pedicure someone came over to inform me that they wanted to give me 10% off for the wait and & explained she didn't have a ride. I appreciated that they took the time to apologize Even though I had to wait a bit it was totally worth it & I will definitely be back. I don't typically write reviews but felt like i needed to. She asked me if I liked the color I chose before doing my other nails, and let me change the color without hesitation when I did not love the color on me. I will definitely be coming back for a pedicure with Kayla again! The bowls were cleaned and wrapped, all tools are in sanitary wrapping which I LOVE. I love K-Tec! Been going here for a short while now, and every time is a pleasant experience. They serve drinks upon request, with the first drink being complementary. I usually go to Thao for my acrylic sets (@thao.ktec on Instagram!) and Evelyn for my pedicures. They both do an amazing job each and every time. They are both very precise with their work as well as very knowledgeable and talented. Conversation is easy and genuine, and before I know it, I'm out of the chair! Well I wasted $45 today. I don't know if they hired extra hands for the holiday or what but I have never had such a horrible pedicure. For the owners it was the tech with long blonde hair. You could see her thong through her see-through sweats. She was completely unprofessional. Everything about the pedicure hurt. She had the drummel turned up way too high, I could see chunks of my nail flying off. She pushed my cuticles so hard it was making me flinch. When she was scraping my cuticles she cut me and made me bleed. When she was buffing my heels it was burning. She massaged me for maybe 10 seconds and left me covered in slimy oil when I left. She didn't shape my nails. She didn't clean up the dead skin on my toes. She couldn't even paint them evenly (see picture of splotchy paint). I had high hopes for this place. Last time I was so relaxed I was able to read my book the entire time. Not this time. I had to watch this lady destroy my feet. Now I get to go to another salon and spend even more money for them to fix this lady's job. I'm incredibly annoyed. Don't let this tech touch you. read more

Requested an acrylic fill with my own polish (regular, not gel). They only do gel. Oh well. The tech did a great job, most of the techs I use leave my nails to the point they are lifting after a week or so. These lasted a full two weeks ( writing that now so probably longer). I have been looking for a good place to get gels since I just moved here. I came across this nail salon and thought I'd give it a try- super cute atmosphere and ambience. I had a reservation at 4pm. Got there at 4:01 pm and my nail tech was still working on the previous client- the front desk said she'll be with me soon. I understand running a little bit behind because I get that things happen but none of the employees standing around doing nothing thought to update me despite it now being 20+ minutes past my appt time. By 4:25ish I went up to the front and I was the one that suggested at least to save myself time to have another nail tech remove my existing nails while I wait for my tech. Long story short , they did that and by the time my tech was ready for me to actually start was 4:40. She took her time to get my cuticles nice and clean and changed the shape of my nails as I asked and it was all good. But then her next client came in and she said to the next client she'll be done with me in about 10-15 minutes. and boy she started to RUSH. I had to point out several times different spots that had bubbles or if there was gel on my skin. Don't get me wrong my tech was very sweet and personable and I am sure she's talented at what she does when she's not rushing, but I still regret tipping so high for the quality of work that was done, how I was rushed by the time it was ready to apply the gel, and for the fact that by the time I left the salon it was 5:50pm. And my appointment was at 4. It's been 4 days since my appt and look at how bad my nails look. I already have one nail in which the gel entirely came off. To think I spent $40 not including tip for the removal of my last nails and gel application ? Insane. They seem to specialize in acrylics - trust me, DONT GO HERE FOR GELS. My Nail Tech EDWARD is the bomb!!!!! I've been riding with him for 5 years, from Chesapeake to Virginia Beach. I saw a review about EDWARD and I was shocked!!!. He is cool as hell, who said he was snappy and rude, who EDWARD nawwh. I don't know who in the world thinks he is snappy or rude. Wow!!!! He does one nail and ask do you like it, before he gets started. I've been going so long, I just give him a color or an event, I am attending and he goes to work. When choosing a color I chose a specific blue color. The guy starts painting my nails with a different shade of blue. At first I wasn't sure if it was a different color, but then I pointed it out and he said that they ran out of the blue that i wanted so he chose a different shade. I found this completely unprofessional because you should always ask the costumer if they are okay with the color before painting their nails and was very shocked that he didn't even tell me they were out of the color in the first place. read more

The first two times I went to the salon, it was a great experience. But the last 2 have not been, with the most recent one causing me to look elsewhere. For this last visit, I called more than 24 hrs in advance to ask for an appointment with either Stefani or Keke. I was told neither would be working on Sunday. So I made an appointment anyway, having had a good experience overall. When I got to the salon, they were very busy and I waited even though I had an appointment. That happens, I understand. But then I saw that Stefani was there, working! And they did not bring her to me, they brought me to another woman who I didn't recognize. She was very nice, but she didn't appear to know how to do a French manicure very well. The lines were slanted on more than one nail and they weren't clean lines; there was feathering, making the polish look rushed or cheap. I'm going to look for another salon where I can see the person I make the appointment with and have a history of working together.
