I just wanted to thank Dave and Michelle for the amazing training they did with my dog, Talley. Before her training, we were really struggling with jumping, barking, herding , and helping her socialize with other dogs. Talley completed the one-week board and stay -- I'll admit, I was nervous at first -- but wow, what a difference it made! She's now so much calmer, listens beautifully, and can be around other dogs with no problems. My first review was deleted; how unprofessional. I took my dog here once for daycare. I had called to ask how she was doing. "Great!" I send a friend in; my dog was howling from the back room, clearly in a cage. Having used the vet services in the back of this building many many times (not affiliated with K9 Kindergarten), I have witness first hand dogs howling/barking in the back room...dogs sitting in cages. Don't let them fool you. Your dog is BOARDED here, not a "daycare". read more

I liken this to a bully in school taking your lunch money. then giving it back to you but forcing you to buy them food with it. i will never return and will never recommend them. I was recommended to them from a coworker that saw them in passing. i called to set up a basic obedience class for my dog. they asked the basic info. breed, issues, age, vet ect. I told them over the phone he was just over a year 13-15 months i believe. They said they would check with the vet to get exact. i put the deposit down to lock my spot. a week later i called to double check the date. they told me the date and went on about normal buissness. a couple weeks later i get a call saying my dog was booted from the class before it started the following weekend because he was more than one year old.... yes i told them that. they said he was closer to 17months. i asked for a refund and after multiple calls was told they dont do refunds. the guy on the phone laughed at me for not knowing my dogs age and acted like a child about the situation. man up and refund the money. your staff made the mistake. they said i could use the money as in store credit or tword a personal evaluation for individual training coasting thousands. David is truly a master trainer! He taught my puppy Ash how to be obedient. Which for my stubborn puppy, was hard. While he did listen to me, he was a mediocre at best with obedience. With David (K9 K) they make sure you have consistent obedience. PSA: The training isn't only for your best friend, it's also for you. YOU MUST put in forth time and effort as instructed by the master teacher, David. Thank you K9! Update 09/06/19: I can not recommend K9K enough. I'm so happy with the results of just 5 days by the master trainer! This is so different than when I see well behaved dogs in videos. It feels like a dream. Teaching Ash as apart of my quest is also been so easy. All because of K9 KINDERGARTEN. The heels. The leash walking. Of course, so many variables; puppy, still learning, so he's still pulling a bit and not listening as well. But, I'm making sure to reinforce it and be there with my buddy every step of the way. We set an appointment with the trainers. This is the only trainer who charges $75 just to talk with them. I told them from the start we are not paying 1,000 of dollars for training. I was assured it wouldn't be. I explained the issues before we meet and was told that we would bring both dogs into the room and see how they react around each other, that was part of the consult. But they put myself & one dog in a room and the other stayed outside in the store. So at the end all we received is a quote for thousands of dollars. So I paid them $75 just to talk. We are so thankful for Dave and team! Our dog Pearl was very aggressive towards anyone entering our home and yard. She would attack and was to the point we were crating her while we had visitors. We came to K9 Kindergarten to discuss an electric fence and the training that goes into it. We didn't know K9 worked with behavior issues. Dave got to talking with me and I explained Pearl's aggressive behavior and my hesitation with getting a fence put in and her attacking the trainers. He suggested behavioral training first and then fence training. We couldn't believe how well Pearl did! Neither could our family, friends, neighbors and even mailman (she "loved" him the most). She no longer attacks and is so much more confident and calm. We are much more relaxed and happy too. Thank you again for changing both Pearl's and our lives for the better! Went for an evaluation of our 2 year old great dane mix for training. Dave, the trainer, stood there with a clip board and asked us questions. He didn't have us do anything to evaluate our dog - no commands. All of the questions could have been asked and answered over the phone. $75 evaluation fee. He didn't listen to our answers either. We brought our dog there a year ago and had a different trainer for the same issues. Our dog is better but still needs some guidance. He more than doubled the price from last years evaluation and just kept saying he's bigger now. He's the same size. Do your research. Frustrated that I wasted my time and money. read more

We have been taking our dog, Oscar here for months for day care. Just recently, he got diagnosed with Kennel cough (which is pretty bad), and the vet said that most likely it was because of day care around other dogs or that he didn't receive his Bordetella. We called k9, where we got that Bordetella by THEIR VET, and the lady on the phone said that they had NO record of our dog ever being in the system! I am furious because they most likely didn't even give my dog Bordatella and now he has kennel cough!!!! How do you not have a dog in the system that has been coming there for MONTHS. They did not allow my dog to be in day care without Bordetella so that's why one day we told the vet to give it to him. My dog is a puppy and he's coughing nonstop, throwing up, and wheezing for the last 5 days. This is ridiculous all of the money we spent there buying day care visits, bones, and grooming appointments. I HIGHLY advise you to stay away from this place--very unprofessional. They also told us they'd give us a call back later today...it is now 8:23pm and we have not received a phone call. So basically they either NEVER gave him the Bordetella dose, or they NEVER entered it in the system. HOW WRONG. read more

Do not have your dog groomed at this location! I've had dogs groomed my entire life without any issues. We moved to this area a year ago and tried this place for our dog. They groomed him three times. The first time was really bad and had to bring him back to fix it. The second time was ok. The last time we just had done and it was the worse grooming job I've ever seen. Uneven all over...areas completley missed...and was not cut even close to the length we asked for. We asked the owner for a refund and he was rude to my wife. I stopped in and asked him for $20 of the $60 we paid after he admitted they messed up our dog because that's what we paid a neighbor to fix it.. He told me they will not refund any part of our money. This is a privately owned business and the dictator owner does what he wants and is accountable to no one...I've never ever in my life took the time to write a review...but this place is horrible....take your pet elsewhere or gamble your money on people who have no clue how to groom a dog! read more

Thank you is not enough for what Dave and his staff did for our rescued St. Bernard and the family! We felt so compelled to rescue this beautiful St. Bernard (Kali) not knowing the side effect she would show from being scared as aggression. It was so bad we were afraid to have other family and friends come over. We didn't want to put her down but didn't want anyone getting bit either. I did a lot of reading on training knowing that it was going to take more then obeisance training with her. All reading pointed to Dave and is approach with the dogs. He was straight forward in telling us he would know as soon as he seen her if he could help or not. She took to Dave right from the start. Thank goodness that after 3 weeks of in house training and 2 week followed up visits we have a wonderful well mannered and loving St. Bernard. It has been almost a year since her training and all remains great! She loves people now and realizes the more she meets the more love she gets !! The training was well worth every penny we paid.
