The staff is Top Notch and they are inexpensive and offer incentives to come back within 4-6-8 weeks to keep the dog groomed well - and these insentives are discounts on their already very low prices! Due to these circumstances she is a little skiddish around other dogs and the staff here took the time to put away the other dogs just so my pup could get her nails trimmed. The staff is friendly and accommodating AND they did an amazing job trimming Frankies nails. They are the only people to have clipped them and not make them bleed. Doggone's service and care for our Bernedoodle was much higher and their price is lower than pet store grooming! I would just suggest to customers - if you're tipping based on % of cost, to do it based on price of other places vs a % of price here. We tipped based on the price I paid at Petsmart's for the basic grooming ($130) and added bit more because it was totally deserved! Here they do to exactly what's asked for vs the other place that just basically shaves the dog unless you want to pay a fortune to add on any sort of other cut! That hasn't been an issue at Pick of the Litter and my cat has been going in regularly for the past year or so and is no longer sticking to the carpet because I have to go so long between trims. I am a Cockapoo breeder and have pretty dogs so need a great groomer who will keep my dogs looking nice and who are kind to them. This is family run business always super nice. And friendly. Love the dogs and always have these designer breeds looking like they should. Not shaved or cut like a poodle.
