I decided to wait for the appointment, but when I arrived today, she told me I wasn't on her calendar. What was most disappointing was that she never apologized, made any effort to look into what happened, or offered to reschedule. Instead, she was dismissive and rude throughout the interaction. Even though the mistake was clearly on her end, she showed no concern for the inconvenience it caused. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and customer service. Unfortunately, this was a very negative first experience, and I would not recommend this groomer based on how the situation was handled.

I found this business through a local vet I had called because I was desperately in need of getting our old timer groomed and due to his age, he was prone to having accidents. The groomers we had been taking him to previously told us they could not tolerate his incontinence to groom him anymore, and I was left scrambling to find someone who would be willing and patient enough to help him. Well. Fast forward to TDDW-! Roz said she would be happy to give it a try, and she did exactly that. She was kind, gentle and gave him a beautiful haircut and bath. Her demeanor is very calm and that was exactly what Milton needed. He also has some senior dog skin issues, which she cleaned and recommended a good cleaning product for his after care (on Amazon where she found it to be the cheapest, and did not try to sell me anything-!)! I am very grateful to have found Roz and am happy to be a returning and very satisfied customer. I don't know what I would have done without her!! Thank you TDDW-!!!

I happened to pass "The Soggie Doggie" on my way home from work and I decided to check it out and I was very pleased! This is a new Pet Grooming business and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Meghan, one of the owners, is very friendly and knowledgeable. They were beyond compassionate. Understood that all his appointments had to be made around his radiation and chemo treatments and overall gave him 110% care. After his passing I finally got a second poodle who is fearful but he loves the ladies there and because of their fear free certification (something I also go to a vet with) I feel safe leaving him. Extremely Disappointed - No Patience for Puppies or Professionalism…read more Honestly, this has been the worst daycare experience I've ever had--and I work at a vet clinic, so I'm familiar with the standards of care and behavior management expected around animals. On just my puppy's second half-day, I received a call saying he was being kicked out due to "anxiety." He's a 5-month-old puppy, still learning, and yes--he chews, like all puppies do. Instead of redirecting that behavior or giving him any sort of chance to adjust, the manager claimed he was "destroying property" by chewing the fence and decided he was not a good fit. I was told he was pacing and not playing with other dogs. But pacing doesn't necessarily mean anxiety, and he has never shown signs of anxiety in the month we've had him. In fact, during his first visit, the staff said he was sweet, well-behaved, and even called him their favorite. So which is it? It felt like a complete 180 overnight--with no attempt to work with him, redirect behaviors, or help him settle in. Puppies need time, patience, and structure--not to be written off after one or two short visits. The experience leads me to believe that the staff, especially the manager, may lack the proper training or understanding needed to support puppies still in their developmental stages. I truly hope they consider additional training in animal behavior and communication--because right now, it seems more about convenience than care.
