He's only a semi-regular; nevertheless, they always recognize him & shout Griffin when we walk in!! He loves it (and so do we)! He goes for both daycare & overnight stays - one night or 10! And we love the daily pictures posted on Insta so we can see our happy baby when we are away traveling. Unfortunately, I did not have good experiences in this place. 1. In the behavioral evaluation, my 13-pound female dog was found to "not want to come to the handler" when the handler called her in the crate. Expecting a small female dog to want to come right to a stranger handler in an unfamiliar setting is unrealistic. The second handler also admitted that my dog had no issue when she went to pick her up. Dogs need time to get used to a new place and new handlers. 2. For the above reason, we were recommended to move up to the next level compartment because it is easier for the handlers. Now, here is my second concern. Their website describes a single compartment as: *** We offer two sizes of our traditional boarding options: Standard Compartment - Ideal for dogs weighing up to 35 lbs. Double Compartment - Suitable for dogs weighing up to 100 lbs. Each space is crafted to offer a sense of safety and tranquility, accommodating a range of canine sizes.** *** Well, the above description is misleading because if it were true, they would not have any issues handling my 13-pound dog in the standard compartment! Of course, they will all blame my dog's behavior as the cause of the problem. But that doesn't change the fact that their website never states the exact sizing of each crate. Second, they call a mat inside each crate "comfort mat" bedding: a torn, worn-out dog bed with a synthetic cover. 3. The owner, Glen, called me and asked about my experience. In my first impression, I thought he genuinely worried about customers and wanted to rectify my concerns, so I spent valuable time sharing my experiences with him. Otherwise, I would not have bothered writing a lengthy response to their text message (I just rated the place, not wrote any reviews) or even here in Yelp. However, when I explained the word, a single compartment, on the website is misleading because it is a crate, he responded, "That's what we call it." Of course, I know what they call it. I am stating how that word can misguide customers. He should not have called and asked for my opinions if he didn't want to hear negative comments. Well, he asked for mine, and I offered one. Thankfully, I was also checking out another nearby place that gave enough time for my dog to warm up to the handlers there, so all is set! In the long run, if this business continues this practice, which is repeated as apparent in prior reviews, that will hurt their business. read more

The negative reviews on this site is definitely not indicative of the quality of care that is given to the dogs that go there. My dog has been going here for over a year and a half and the staff and all the dogs that are there are very friendly. If they note, aggressive dog behavior, they will not take them in. Rest assure that they are not out for money. They're out for safety. So if somebody is offended by that I'm glad because I do not want my dog around aggressive dogs. K9 RESORTS is absolutely wonderful. The staff is wonderful it is clean and I have use them five days a week for daycare and also boarding whenever I go on vacation. My boyfriend and I love this place for our fur baby. They loved her at the free evaluation and even do a "report card" reporting the dog's behavior and characteristics which I thought was super cute. They post pictures daily on IG & FB and we really loved that. The prices are definitely fair because it's a really beautiful spacious facility. They do charge a $37 bath fee if your dog is boarding for 2 nights or more(which was fine). I called often to check on her because she had a cut on her ear and they were super attentive and caring. Overall, I felt very comfortable with all the staff there and confident they were taking care of our girl. Best daycare in the area and we're lucky it's so close to home. read more

First off the place is very nice and pretty but as for the staff, it doesnt make up for the resort feel of this place. I called to make an eval and noted that my dog has been at multiple daycares and is currently using a doggie daycare. I also noted that he can be afraid of new places and people and they said they could handle it and recognize scared vs agression. Day of the eval, the girl who was supposed to take him in was scared because he was barking at a 'new' person. Her fearfulness and not knowing how to handle a scared dog made my dog even more scared. She tried to put this plastic band around his neck for a few minutes but she was scared. She finally got up and my dog stood on his hind legs and put his paws on her. She went to the back and someone else came out and immediately told me my dog is aggressive and I needed to leave. While I understand their concern and that they need to protect their workers, I dont believe their staff is trained in animal behavior. My dog is big so if he barks it looks scary to someone who isnt used to big dogs. My dog can be scared but he is not agressive and he has been at daycare since a puppy. They could have handled the situation in so many different ways besides just a short quick comment about my dog being aggressive and telling me to leave. read more
